Leaves the clothes that it washes with a lovely smell on. The only problem now is that Amazon hiked the price up so much that I have to get it from somewhere else now. Don’t buy from Amazon.

This is great value for money, much cheaper than the supermarkets. Less packaging for the environment saves buying lots of smaller packets. Lovely smell, washes clothes well. Powder is better to use than liquid as cleans the drawer rather than leaving a slimy residue. No measuring cup but just use an old one. I buy this powder every time.

I always use surf, my husband is a chef and I clean his whites. I have tried all types of cleaning powders, pods and sprays but one cup of this in the wash brings his jackets up a treat. Would not change for anything.

I brought it in February, on average 3 loads a weeks and I still have half of it.
Definitely worth the price as its a good quality* washing powder for way cheaper than big brands.
*everyone has their own opinions on quality, for ne it’s great.

Huge box, smells good. Just try to keep the box dry as if you get it damp it will be useless.

The smell is divine, seriously. Now if you put your dirty stinky filthy gross clothing into the washing machine oh and works with dog beds as well, not the plastic or wicker ones as they don’t really go in washing machines. Sorry side tracked dirty stuff in add the powder say the magic word SURF press the buttons or touch the dials then wait the length of the washing cycle the magic happens out comes these clean and I mean Clean clothes smelling divine.
This is a serious review from me I absolutely love SURF and it’s my one and only washing powde

I like the soap powder from Amazon as I can’t carry the XXL soap powder from the shops on to the bus because of my illness so I get it from Amazon all you do is order it pay for it and you will get an email saying what date it’s getting delivered and it’s good value for money

Good all rounder. Does tend to stick in clumps in the washing machine drawer. This happens to my Mum as well. You don’t need much powder. If you are using a cool wash you may have to pour hot water into the drawer to dissolve powder. For this reason alone, I don’t buy it anymore. Too much faff!

Great value for money, washes clothes extremely well, and leaves them smelling wonderful. Also I sprinkle a little on oven roasting trays, with water to soak, it lifts everything and makes it easier to wash. I would recommend purchasing this 130 wash box.

For the time being it is the cheapest price that I have seen.As long as it remains the cheapest I shall continue to buy it. It was always my regular washing powder so to find it at this price is a bonus.

Great for cleaning clothes and removing stains.ive noticed I do not need vanish or ace products as much smells lovley when emptying the washing machine but fades fast once clothes dry can’t smell anything. But does clean well.

Washing powder is one f the thingsI never buy own brand for, as I have been disappointed by the stain and odour removable properties of Aldi/ Lidl/ Tesco etc own brand. I bought the powder specifically so I can choose how much I do or don’t use, and I don’t like those pod things. Also powder is better if you intend to wash down jackets. I really like the smell of this one, the house smells lovely when clothes are drying, and the fresh scent stays on them noticeably longer than other premium brands.

One of the only big boxes of powder sold on here that genuinely works out as better value than buying in supermarkets, not by a huge margin but still any saving is good. I do use surf but normally the white ‘hygiene’ version which is exclusive to one supermarket in a 45 wash powder only and I haven’t been able to find it anywhere else, that one is great and is the only one of the various retail white big brand washing powders I have tried that genuinely gets stains out every time along with rinsing really well even if using a larger dose of powder. I wanted to buy this one too as they had it on holiday (this fragrance is labelled as Spring in other countries for some reason but with the same packaging design and fragrance) also I thought it would be better for coloured items as it contains only a very small percentage of oxygen bleach.

I knocked off a star as this does not rinse as well as the Hygiene version by a long way, it does in the drawer but in the drum there was a powdery film on the door when the wash ended which is not good, even though the recommended dosing was the same on the box as the white version. I reduced the amount of powder way below what was recommended for the second wash and it seemed ok but then probably didn’t wash as well. The version they have abroad is still the older version and that has no such problems with rinsing.

Finally I noticed some negative reviews claiming this is a rip off, there was definitely 6.5kg in the box, the box is packed by weight not volume and there are only a limited range of box sizes made by packaging manufacturers, so when they make the powder more concentrated they cannot always source an appropriately smaller box size.

So most supermarkets do not sell this size – this is the cheapest way to buy per Kg though the initial outlay is larger – you don’t need to use as much per load as it’s a newer formula. I wear fresh multiple layers for work daily and gym wear great for both and this size lasts approx 5months
Box is bigger (obviously) had to adjust a kitchen cupboard to accommodate

I’ve been using this surf since ever after trying many out there. This was the best among the lot in terms of cleanliness, smell and quantity I get for the price.
I am very dissatisfied by delivery though. The driver left the parcel right outside my door in full view of the street and my house has open driveway. Anyone can walk and take the parcel away. At least should have made an effort to keep it in a safe place where there is less risk of it getting stolen. Amazon should have strict instructions/rules for their delivery drivers so they are more careful to customer’s parcel. Who do i complain to if I lose my parcel in this case? Very neglige

I have been experimenting with different washing powders. this is the best so far and can handle my clothes. Reason is I’m a chef and I get grubby I have to soak them in vinegar and add bleaching agents into my wash to get my chef whites white again. When I go to greet customers, I have a spare jacket always on standby. it’s a necessity in the Industry I’m afraid I have to be deceptive with my appearance. sorry folks
Seriously the kitchen is our playground we have the right to play. So we play. its how we make delicious food you enjoy.

After work I put my whites in a bucket with alot of vinegar and they soak. then I put them in the wash with a cup of this washing powder and bleaching agents on 40 degrees. They come out beautifully white & clean. I like fabric conditioner too but I’m not allowed to smell of perfumes. This is a perfect scent, it’s just right. Not too much or too little.

I find in the wash a cup works perfectly.
If it’s less soiled (which is rare) I use half a cup.

I highly recommend it. plus it’s equally price matched and lovely Amazon deliver to your door. what’s better than that? no heavy lifting and a competitive price.
