This is one if the best things I’ve ever bought for a number of reasons…. price really cheap it makes a coffee like been in a cafe at home they even do hot chocolate which is beautiful its so simple to set up and use immediately I absolutely love mine and wouldn’t swap it for anything
Super easy to set up. Simple to use. I ordered flat white pods (which is what I’m making in the video) and it was just as good as any coffee I’ve had in a coffee shop, for a fraction of the price and in the convenience of my own home. Highly recommend.
The reason why I chose this coffee machine is because it replaces the same one I have just had to
disposed of. It makes lovely coffee, but I appear to have trouble cleaning through after use. This I had
no trouble with the last machine. It does not appear to be fluent in its behaviour and keeps stalling
and I have to start the programme again. Maybe it is me, but the red light does not work when rinsing.
Anyway, not too pleased with it, but I can see my way to make it work.
I have always had nespresso machines & pods, but my last machine only lasted 21/2 years. So thought I would try this one! It’s great hot, hot drinks. And recyclable pods too. Win win! The green tea is great too.
Makes a smashing cup of coffee and is neat enough to fit into a small corner. Am very pleased with my purchase.
One big criticism – I’ve never owned a coffee machine before so was a complete beginner in putting it together and getting it to work. Naturally I picked up the instruction booklet – and wished I hadn’t. It was all tiny black and white pictures – and none of them made sense. Other people have obviously had the same problem because some wonderful person has made a YouTube film demonstrating how to set the machine up, and there were 74k views! I think the manufacturers need to address this, it can’t be too hard to write a simple instruction book, surely?
This is a lovely machine and I bought the storage drawer for the pods which the machine now stands on. I like the variety of coffees and chocolate, but I still like the taste of the Dolce Gusto flat white better. Also you don’t get a full cup of coffee with one pod.
Whilst the instructions that come with the machine are not that easy to follow, it is easy to work out how to use it. Straight forward to use and produces a cup of coffee very quickly.
Great value indeed works extremely well can feel a little clunky on buttons but this model is more like the mark 1 version as I’ve got a vivy model which is a refined version of this
Very happy with my purchase hopefully it will last as man yrs as my other one Ty Amazon and Bosch
I look forward to a latte every morning and use the Lor brand of espressos from Tassimo. They come in three different strengths in intensity depending on what mood I’m in when making it and use my own milk as I’m not keen on any sort of long life stuff. The Tassimo machine makes for a perfect bean to cup taste. I don’t bother going out to coffee shops to get my fix now as mine are better, especially using gold top milk or the supermarket equivalent un-homogenised milk.
Having had this machine before I rated it highly and so chose it again.
Very good value and easy to get pods.
Easy to use. This is the second one I have now for the bedroom. Great coffee machine.
This is a fantastic coffee machine and quick to make your coffee and very good money for value
This is my 3rd coffee maker and the price is very good when compared against other makes. It is very compact and sits on the coffee drawer very nicely.
I love this machine, but pitty the water tank isn’t a bit bigger.
If you want a quality product at an excellent price here it is .
It’s easy to use
It’s easy to clean
& You can use any Tassimo pod
Best of all , it is small & compact & will fit on any kitchen work top .
I use mine every day ..
Love this machine as it is small and sits nicely on our worktop with the slightly bigger Bosch Tassimo coffee maker. It is mainly use as a hot water dispenser. One cup or mug per use. Better than a kettle which uses a lot more energy/wattage.
I like it it’s good value and easy to use and we always have a hot chocolate at night and it’s lovely and hot and frothy
very easy to set up and use. Nice variety of pods available. This is small machine so doesn’t take up too much room
Not the cheapest I have seen these,
And no pods come with it.
Small water tank that you constantly have to re fill.
Overall pleased my friend has one & loved their coffee so bought myself one.
As a new user I had no idea how to use the pods and we made a few errors where there were two capsules for certain drinks. We also struggled with whether we were ment to stand and hold it on to get the right amount of water. I think once you’ve used it for a while it gets better and your coffee tastes like it should as you’ve put the right amount of water/pods/shaken the pods . In other words don’t give up on the first aweful cup you make it’s you not the machine
We’ve had one of these coffee machines for about 10 years and have just bought our third one.
Even though I’ve kept them well descaled, when you live in a very hard water area they do need replacing after a few years. At the price, it’s not expenive to buy a new one, like I did, every 3-4 years. They make good everyday coffee and are easy to use.
I’ve given our old one to a jumble sale.
I bought this for my sister & she’s very happy with it.
Yes, it does have a small water reservoir, but that’s part of the tradeoff for compactness, resulting in a need for less countertop space.
Rather than taking the tank out every time to refill it, she finds it easier to just pull it towards her & refill it without removing the tank.
It’s worth noting that she also has Parkinson’s, but is still able to cope with it without any real issues.
As for the noise complaints that some have alluded to, there is a rat-a-tat sound when it is warming up,but nothing excessive in the way of noise.
All in all, a great little machine.
I love Tassimo coffee machines and this was to replace a very old one that gave up the ghost. This machine is smaller than my other model, which is fine as it takes up less work surface. The downsize if that is the water tank is such a small capacity that I am filling it up way more than the other model.
It works fine but next time I will go back to the larger machine.
Overall, this is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a reliable and efficient coffee maker. I was very excited to get a coffee machine and it took me a while to decide between this and the Dulche Gusto. Evidently, I selected this one.
Appearance: It is compact and goes quite well with the aesthetics of my kitchen. It is definitely a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a sleek and modern coffee maker. The machine also comes with an adjustable cup stand, which makes it easy to accommodate different cup sizes.
Usage: The overall design is user-friendly and easy to operate and a cuppa takes about less than a minute to brew, however, it makes a loud clicking noise which takes some time to get used to. The manual is pretty basic and easy to understand but that may be because I saw endless reviews and videos prior to my purchase.
Pods: Now this is where I was truly stuck in deciding between the two. I personally think the pods are on the more expensive side for this machine but if you buy them off Amazon you can get great economies of scale.
The problem is that its compatibility is only with a wide range of Tassimo coffee pods and you may not find them everywhere nor can you find cheaper alternatives.
Performance: The machine does not disappoint, however it heats up quickly, and the coffee is brewed every time. The machine also features an automatic cleaning cycle, which helps to keep it in good condition and ensures that your coffee always tastes great.
I just wish I knew how to use the different pods because despite my americanos being top-notch, my lattes definitely need work.
We have had 2 Sunys before & each lasted well over 2 years. This one wanted descaling yesterday – no problems with that but I did think it was a bit soon – 46 days, a bit cheeky. But I have now descaled it 3 times & the descale me’ light is still on. We have just ignored the light & carried on making coffees. The pod opening mechanism went wrong 10 days before this getting coffee grounds everywhere but we cleaned all the parts we could reach. Maybe the price, at 29 should have warned me but when I registered it with Tassimo, they accepted the serial numbers as real. Our other Sunys cost about 50 down from 115.
Update – now given 4 stars as finally the light has gone out, but I still feel that needing descaling so quickly is not good. This is a much more stroppy, demanding of attention machine that the previous 2 Sunys!
