• Persistent disconnection?
The dongle relies on a WiFi connection to your phone to work. Dropped connections are usually caused by wifi interference. Do you have other wifi devices in your car, such as a car camera with WiFi function? If so, you may need to ignore other wifi networks when using the dongle. You can also improve this problem by resetting your mobile WLAN network. Also, updating the firmware of your dongle is worth trying(we need you to tell us your car model, then we will send you the update).
• Audio input or output issues: calls rejected or forwarded to voicemail/no play sound/microphone not working/music playback interrupted or paused/voice functioning abnormally…
1. Please check your phone’s Bluetooth to see if it is connected to another device. If so, please ignore other auto-connected Bluetooth devices.
2. Clear the programs running in the background of your phone when using the dongle.
• Video audio lag?
Video lag is normal. Because video transcoding is more complex than normal audio file transcoding and takes longer to process, there will be a delay. Even the original wireless CarPlay that comes with the car also has a lag when playing video(if we google this issue, we can easily confirm that). This is the current barrier of wireless technology, not the converter’s problem.

Been using this for a couple of weeks and it is superb. It connects via usb and phone connects to the bluetooth output which is displayed on the car screen. I can then use apple carplay wirelessly and no more wires needed! Little bit of input lag when pressing buttons rarely, but that is to be expected. Overall, i am very very happy with the functionality
This product is amazing. I often leave my phone in my pocket and can not be bothered to pull it out just to use CarPlay however this new adaptor will automatically connect to my phone through Bluetooth and work exactly like the wired connection. It’s now made my car very clean as all wires are now hidden! Amazing item
My car has CarPlay functionality but it requires a wire connection to the car.
This CarPlay wireless adapter allows me to no longer have to use a wire to connect to the car every time. When I start my car my mobile phone automatically connects to the adapter and the car’s media screen displays the CarPlay menu. I have used it for over 10 days and the adapter response quality and runs smoothly.
It is easy to install and easy to use. a great product .
I use this car play adapater on my Mercedes A class does the job. Means I don’t have to keep my phone connected all the time. Very easy to set up and I’ve had no issues so far.
Excellent product, works well with iPhone save use and ware an tear on charging points on phone, only down side is make’s phone battery run down faster and phone gets very warm just like if you was playing a game on your phone.
Absolutely brilliant, I’ve got a wired carplay in my car and it worked flawlessly. Very quick, connects straight away automatically each time, no lag no issue. Saves me having to connect through a cable each time. Highly recommend great stuff

Didn’t realise these devices existed and was excited to convert wired CarPlay into wireless in a 2019 Audi A4 avant. Plugged into the MMI USB port, followed the very simple instructions and it transformed our Apple CarPlay setup to wireless, negating the need to plug the phone into the USB lead every time you get into the car. I can point out that our USB ports seem to be powered all of the time which mean this little unit is also showing being powered up. I don’t imagine the power draw on this device will risk flattening a car battery but may be prudent to remove if you leave the car for a prelonged period. That isn’t any negative, just an observation.
My 2020 vehicle has wired only car play. Although no real problem, although obviously it would be better without wires. This is where this little gem comes in. I literally plugged it in to my cars USB socket, paired it with my phone and bingo! It’s up and running. So far there’s been no freezing or lag when using maps and voice calls – so I’m very happy with it. What I would have liked to see come in the box, is instructions on how to upgrade the firmware so I know any previous bugs or glitches will more than likely to be fixed by running the latest firmware. If anyone has found out how to do this, please let me know. Not a moan, but just something that I would have liked to have seen in the package. Other than that, everything is running flawlessly. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy one for my wife’s car.

I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this dongle. I have had it installed for a week now and I am really impressed – I haven’t experienced and drop outs. It was easy to connect and I’d highly recommend it.
This is a simple as plugging in and syncing to your phone, no other messing around needed.
If you already have CarPlay but are fed up of plugging your phone in every time, you set this up and no longer need to do anything when you get in your car anymore. IT just works on it’s own as soon as you start the car.
I don’t see any difference in connection times or lag, with sounds etc. so as there’s no difference, this wins hands down hence why i have added them to all of my vehicles.
I no longer need long, annoying leads to connect to my phone to play music. This is so much easier as it connects to my iPhone allowing me to play my tunes in my car. Sound quality is impressive.

No more having to faff around with the wire to plug in my phone and have access to carplay. It is instant over bluetooth. I often leave my phone in my jacket pocket or bag when I am in and out of my car, but prefer to use apple maps so I have to have my phone plugged in to use this. Now I have access to everything using this adaptor. It instantly connects to my phone, is small and well designed so it looks nice still. I am super impressed with this product and would highly recommend!

I love carplay but I get fed up of plugging in every time I use the car. This is great. Very simple to pair with the phone and no extra software or downloading required. It works like a dream. Simply plug in a nd pair and that’s it. Every time I start the car it pairs automatically.
