Ist kugelgelagert also richtig gutes Arbeitsmaterial mit dem sich vernnftig arbeiten lsst, htte ich nicht erwartet bin sehr berrascht. Schade dass es nur 5 Sterne gibt sonst htte ich mehr gegeben.

Prima volta che acquisto un prodotto Army Painter e ne sono rimasto soddisfatto.
Il trapano ha la classica impugnatura ed abbastanza solido, inoltre all’interno dello stesso troviamo altri mandrini di differente misura pi altre punte, davvero molto comodo!
Il prezzo a cui viene venduto, circa 10 appropriato. Consiglio assolutamente.
Comparing it to the one I have from GSW, this one is way better.
Feels great, a bit of weight toward the front, ball bearing in the handle, comes with 3 drill bits a key and 4 head sizes.
Small inconvenient that you need to change the heads for different drill bit thickness (like on a proxxon micromot), but for me it is acceptable.
Will start to look at other tools from army painter from now on.
Does what it’s supposed to for the money can’t complain manual drilling for small holes
A solid drill and much much better than the cheap ones. The machined flats and spanner for tightening the chuck are especially useful plus the storage for the extra bits. Not much more money for a superior tool.
Bought for my Warhammer hobby, using to hollow barrels and create secure base connections. Works easily, with no strain on hands or wrist. Comes with 3 sizes of drill bits, decent selection to start with. Very pleased to have this tool in my kit.
I initially bought a cheap hand drill here on amazon that came with a drill bit set for like $8. Theres a few of these on Amazon, its black. The drill bits worked ok except for the smallest 2, and the hand drill was almost good, the chuck worked well but the top part that you press your hand against didn’t rotate freely and felt like total garbage making drilling painful and difficult.
I got the Army Painter one and played with it for about 30 minutes and this is certainly a top quality had drill. It’s really nice. Theres an actual ball bearing in the hand rest and it rotates like a dream under pressure. The 3 drill bits it came with are nice and sharp and the different chucks are really nice. Also I like how it comes with a little wrench to tighten down the bits really well.
Overall this tool is a joy to use unlike the other one and I’m really glad I got it. It’s not the cheapest but it is probably about the best one on the market and is still a reasonable price considering it should last a lifetime if properly cared for. Well see how well it holds up overtime but it looks like it should last quite well.
Nice range of bits and the holders are in the butt of the driver.
Cuts through models like butte
Essendomi deciso a praticare dei fori delicati su pezzi finiti senza usare l’avvitatore (per non rischiare di penetrare troppo all’improvviso o rompere dentro la punta), ho optato per l’aquisto di un trapano manuale. E la scelta ricaduta su questo marchio. E appena usato, mi sono chiesto perch non l’ho acquistato prima! Anche se il mio utilizzo non nell’ambito del modellismo, a volte nei miei lavori devo praticare pre fori per viti piccole ( anche di diametro inferiore a 3mm) in posti dove con il trapano c’ il rischio di fare danni. Questo mini trapano manuale perfetto, dalla costruzione ai materiali. Ne ho visti anche altri con prezzi leggermente superiori o inferiori a questo ma andando a vedere anche altri prodotti del marchio, mi sono convinto per questo. E sono molto soddisfatto di averlo fatto. Spedizione record e perfetta come sempre.

I bought this tool to use with the bits from my Dremel. The correct size collet is included with three others and may be safely stored inside the body of the tool. This is an extremely well made tool that is comfortable to use and can reach places that the Dremel cannot.
Used to repair a few of my sons toys, easy to use & accurate although the build quality feels a little lacking.
Mein Problem ist allerdings, dass der Bohrer fr meine Hnde um mindestens 15 mm zu kurz ist und ich nur in kurzen Intervallen damit arbeiten kann ohne Krmpfe in der Hand zu bekommen. Allerdings ist das ein Problem, dass ich mit /allen/ getesteten Handbohrern hatte, ich habe bislang noch keinen gefunden, bei dem das kein Problem fr mich darstellt.
Mir ist klar, dass sich die Hersteller dieser Produkte sinnigerweise am Durchschnitt orientieren und die Gre meiner Hnde schlicht ber dem Durchschnitt liegt, insofern kein Vorwurf von meiner Seite. (Einer meiner Spitznamen ist ‘Steinbeisser’. Sind das nicht groe, starke Hnde…) Es wre aber keine schlechte Sache, wenn man solchen Bohrer einen aufsteckbaren Aufsatz zur Verlngerung spendieren knnte, vielleicht auch als dazubestellbares Extra, sowas ist ja auch eine Kostenfrage. Naja, mal sehen, vielleicht setze ich mich einfach mal hin und entwerfe selbst einen druckbaren Aufsatz, da hab ich dann gleich einen Grund, mich ein wenig mehr mit Tinkercad zu beschftigen.
Alles in allem und trotz meiner Beschwerden ein sehr gutes Produkt mit dem sich angenehm arbeiten lsst und in meinen Augen besser als alle anderen getesteten Handbohrer.
Der Bohrer tut exakt, was er soll. Er bohrt kleine Lcher in Plastikfiguren. Bei mir sind es Mndungslcher fr Schusswaffen. Dadurch sehen die Miniaturen direkt deutlich authentischer aus. Das ganze geht berraschend einfach und przise

Bastante sorprendido que con el precio que tiene hayan conseguido esta calidad de materiales y calidad de construccion del taladro manual para miniaturas de ” The arma painter”, un funcionamiento muy bueno y fino , da gusto trabajar con el ,nada que ver con los modelos chinos que vende al mismo precio o incluso algunos ms caros, y quedan ridculos en la mano de lo pequeos que son, provocando un manejo decepcionante, este de “the army painter” es una maravilla, se adapta perfectamente a la mano y es muy cmodo,hasta le han puesto un rodamiento en la parte que se apoya en la palma de la mano, haciendo que tenga un funcionamiento espectacular, lo recomiendo 100%100, seguir de cerca a esta marca para ver que ms productos ofrece
Pratique avec 3 mandrins dans le manche pour les diffrentes tailles de forets.
Les forets en question fournis ne percent pas trs bien, j’ai d en utiliser d’autres plus coupants pour du plastique car ceux d’origine avaient du mal faire un simple trou.
Regrettable car cela peut faire croire un outil moyen alors que la prise en main et le serrage est correct.
Il suffit de tirer le capuchon vers le haut pour avoir accs aux autres mandrins du manche creux.

great for pinning or drilling barrel holes
Bought this for a number of reasons, but primarily trying to drills small holes for small magnets, and also bowing to peer pressure around “drilling my barrels”. It’s absolutely perfect, the only challenge I had with it was user error. Once I sorted that out, I have now drilled over 100 barrels of varying sizes, and who knows how many magnet holes. I have not, so far, suffered any broken drillbits, so I am very happy

This drill will serve you well if you want fine precision hole. Sturdy and easy to use with a good selection of accessories.
The smaller collet circumference is too small for the 1.5mm bit and the next size collet does not tighten up enough to hold the 1.5mm bit.
I have contacted army painter direct to advise them and am waiting for a reply.

I feel compelled to write a review, purely to inform people that the additional pieces (metal grips?) of differing sizes that hold the drill bits are contained within the handle of the drill. One removes the round end to extract them.
I was going mad trying to figure out how to get the larger drill bits secures.
Otherwise, it is a tiny hand drill for for drilling tiny holes and it works nicely! Happy drilling friends!
