This games a good game and it came packed great and one of the sturdiest games I have seen for a while, but unfortunately having small children and there haste at Christmas one of them had through the bit at the bottom in the bin, but it’s a game I would buy again as it’s an old time favourite xxx
Got this to replace one that we’ve been using with duck tape. Great for daily gaming with kids. Best of three!!! Pieces don’t feel as good as they use too as they have jagged edges now. (Top counter is old , bottom counter is new (this box)).
Never in my wildest dreams did I think that the classic “Connect 4 Strategy Board Game” I once played as a kid would become the centerpiece of our adult game nights. And yet, here we are!
While searching for fun games to play on a chill evening with friends and beers, I stumbled upon this classic gem. I decided to give it a whirl, thinking it would be a nostalgic throwback. What I didn’t expect was how competitive and strategic it would become, especially when you add a few drinks to the mix.
The rules are simple, as always — get four in a row before your opponent. But add in some beer penalties, team play, and the ever-increasing difficulty of strategizing after a couple of drinks, and you’ve got an absolute riot on your hands!
The game’s quality is just as I remembered. Durable, brightly colored chips, and a sturdy grid. It’s easy to set up and packs away neatly, making it perfect for taking to parties or gatherings.
What’s great is that it caters to all levels. Whether you’re a Connect 4 newbie or a seasoned strategist, the game remains equally engaging. Plus, it’s been an excellent ice-breaker for guests who might not know each other that well.
In essence, the “Classic Game of Connect 4 Strategy Board Game” has breathed new life into our game nights, making them hilariously competitive and unexpectedly strategic. If you’re looking to upgrade your beer game collection with a touch of nostalgia that everyone can enjoy, this one’s a no-brainer!
This came yesterday and was well packed and is ready to use its a very colourful sturdy designed game and
Made with sturdy strong plastic with colourful ccouunters this game will have you entertained for hours so a great buy thanks
Absolute blast from the past to play this game again, fantastic child hood memories and trying to recall strategies was good fun, amazing how tactical this game can actually be.
And ofcourse, brilliant quality from Hasbro.
I really like the size and sturdiness of the counters however the frame could be better made, the stands on either side slide in to place but it’s a tiny bit of plastic that keeps it wedged in to place and can be easily broken which happened to us quite soon. Also would have been useful to have somewhere to store the counters. Apart from that, it’s well fun and the whole family enjoy it loads.
I got this to add to my daughter and I’s family game night it is really fun and easy to play especially if you have little ones, reminds me so much of my childhood happy I get to share that with her too.
I bought this game for my dad I thought the motor skills would help with his rehabilitation as he had a stroke last year. It was definitely a good idea he loves it especially when he wins.
Had this when I was kid. Thought I’d give it go with my own children.
It’s not exactly the same, I’d say the frame feels a little bit flimsier than I remember and the release at the bottom is different but it’s a perfectly good version and we’ve spent many hours of fun together playing. A game for all the family, my 5 year old understands the concept.
