I didn’t think I would enjoy this movie but I was pleasantly surprised. It was great fun to watch with the kids and I totally recommend it as a great family night in film.
Fantastic movie, especially if your into the mario video games and franchise, I’ve seen it quite a few times already. Would 100% recommend it to anyone, can be purchased in full HD, Blue Ray or even in 4K (4k is most expensive but best quality)

I bought the dvd VERY last minute for my 5 year old grandson in South Africa.
I ordered it at 9pm on Thursday evening and received it on Friday morning – less than 12 hours after placing the order! Very impressed.
My grandson was over the moon when he saw the dvd and couldn’t wait to watch it…and again and again. Needless to say, I am very happy that I bought this dvd.
This was bought for my 6 year old son, who loves Mario. He’d already seen the film in the cinema, and was very keen to get the DVD. The film has an easy to follow story line, and some funny scenes.
This is one of the best new films around. This mario film is awesome as it brings old mario with new and with great picture quality too.
A great family friendly film that I highly recommend. All of us were laughing and loving this film!
Omg I love this movie so much , after watching it I played every single Mario game , the movie is amazing, it’s like being part of a Mario game the voice cast is perfect I was even singing along to the Donkey Kong rap Lol

I love all things Mario, so this purchase was a no brainer!
I’m not too sure why some people are happy to knock the movie, I mean, sure, it won’t win any Oscars, ha ha, but it’s meant to be a bit or harmless fun, I think people should buy this based on this alone!

Well done for Nintendo and Universla first attempt on building a Nintendo kinda shared universe.

Bought this for my daughter who loved the film. As someone who grew up with Super Mario video games, it’s true to its heritage. Great voice actors and an enjoyable family film. Highly recommend
A charming movie that brought along some nostalgia owing to its music. No peculiar socio-political commentary underlining this ‘family-friendly’ presentation, just a good honest animated movie. Recommended for kids and grown-ups with some Mario nostalgia.
I’m not sure why so many reviews are actually reviewing the film as this isn’t Amazon’s creation they just sell the DVD! So as a product I couldn’t have asked for more! Nice case ans graphics. Plastic is a little flimsy but who messes with the case unless you’re removing the film or returning to the box! Disk played fine and no issues. Thankyou!
You have to take this film for what it is! It’s great. A few good songs throughout the film too. If you look closely you’ll spot the game references throughout. We love it in our house and it’s already been played a handful of times and we’ve only had it a few days.
Okay so the films story could of been stronger but this film was fun and my kids loved it, I loved the small Nuggets and references to nostalgia
Which is all that matters, the dvd box could of been better quality as it was flimsy.
I really enjoyed this movie when I watched it at the cinemas back in April and I really wanted to own the movie on physical media. This has the movie along with some disappointing special features as didn’t include a documentary about the history of the Super Mario franchise. But at least I have the movie on DVD.
Princess Peach was my favourite character, she was really stand out in my opinion, the voice actors were perfectly castand all very likable and the animation is top notch as expected from the company the brought us the Minions movies.
This movie contains nothing offensive or controversial and I will certainly be buying it on Blu Ray or DVD, it really was far far better and more enjoyable than I had expected.
Children will love it, adults will love it, Mario fans will love it! Where it lacks in story, it makes up for it with beautiful visuals, amazing animation, and a ton of charm and love to Mario!
