Was glued to this from start to finish. Would advise anyone to give it a go. Am sure you won’t be disappointed

Great show, has vampires (obviously) plus witches & vampires. A good supernatural show, very easy viewing.
Good discs but one case was broken and plastic spli

Well packaged, no damage, tested the discs to o see if they would play and they do. Christmas gift so happy with product and delivery.
Arrived super fast from UK to Finland. Has also Finnish subtitles. All seasons in two plastic cases, great for binge watching my favorite series. Only con is that some of the dvd’s were dislodged but they didn’t seem scratched so I don’t complain.
EDIT. Ordered second box set as it was so cheap. Can’t beat the price – 53 euros shipping included for eight seasons. Costs about 100 euros elsewhere.
My most favourite program… can watch it over and over again so when Netflix got rid of it hubby bought me the box set! Perfect condition and all disks work
I have an unhealthy obsession with The Vampire diaries and i was so disappointed that netflix took it off so i bought this so i can watch it over and over again and i’m obsessed best decision i’ve ever made definitely recommend

Was a little worried about the quality of the dvds after reading some reviews but I can honestly say they are brilliant. They work perfectly and are very good value at 44.99 when everywhere else is at least 100
Love this series, brought it as they are removing it from netflix and it’s such a good series. Said it’ll be delivered a month later but came two days after I ordered, so chuffed.
To start with this was a very powerful program but the end. How terrible was that. Watched the lot. Not all at once but a friend had recommended it and said it was a great program. But the end what a let down what a flop. You watch 8 series of it and to find it ends like this………?
The series itself is great, I’d watched the first few seasons in tv so I knew what I was expecting. The dvd cases themself are cheap looking and there is no description for each episode so if you can’t remember which episode you last watch you either have to guess or look it up online. Minor drawback really but it is a bit annoying
Also a customer rightly asked ‘how much disc’ does the set contain (as Amazon lists only one). I counted them as 30 discs (First 6 seasons have 4, last two, each 3). 30 blu-ray discs in full set.
Hi, i have not seen series yet (other then first 5 chapters on an ad disc in other series box, loved it). I will update review when i viewed it.
I will now talk about Region and the box quality.
Because this is such a popular show (like true blood), i never imagined amazon.co.uk would only sell the wrong one (region A). This doesn’t make sense. So i forgot about checking region coding like i usually do. Then after ordering i see the warning message ‘may not play in Region B players. I was already prepared to send it back and not opening. But then i was like, i have to be sure right? I got it for a very good price. So i went researching. The thing that struck me is that worldwide the box has same looks same everywhere. Also true blood was region free from the start (also warner home video). The ISBN code (strip code) i googled, cleared up a lot. The code is 5051892206525. You will immediately see a lot of ebay sellers and others have them. And the one the specify region code are very clear: Region A+B+C. Also the box itself (from amazon), has nowhere a region code message, wich suspects, they would only do if it would not matter. So i opened the box and tested 5 cherry picked discs ranging from season 1, 3,5,6,8. They all play, flawlessly on playstation 3 (blu-ray player).
Conclusion BOTH amazon.com and amazon.co.uk are wrong! They got the same version yes, but in a good way, region free! So UK/EU citizens, dont worry, just order.
The box itself is the usually slightly tick outer box (luckly no almost breaking box outside a box, wich the pictures on it like for True blood). Each season is in a nice booklet. First I was a little worried, since stargate SG-1 (not UK edition but belgium one), wich the external plastic stargate coming out of the box, has also paper inserts, and it hugely damages discs. So since then i prefer plastic inserts. What seems dont nicely here is not push to much discs into one booklet (only 3-4 per season), and the paper is painted with a strong layer of ink that seems less scratch sensitive. The discs come out easy (much easier then Sg1 box), and also insert good (again better). This has me mostly assured the discs won’t get nasty scratches. So the box quality is ok in my opinion. They have a different look to them then usualy disc boxset, and i like it 🙂 When you open them you immediately are in the atmosphere of vampire diaries.
Will watch the show once i finish Sanctuary, and further review. I might add a picture of the booklets once i get my smartphone.
But to re-emphasize the importat thing here, it IS REGION FREE.
