Brilliant. We ordered 75′ length as our old rubber garden hose was leaking and kept kinking and twisting up while using around the garden. The new metal hose is great and so easy to use I wouldn’t buy any other type of hose again.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersDid find it heavier than I thought it would be, but ideal if uve got stoney drive etc as magic hoses don’t last long in these scenarios, no matter wat u pay.!! Chose this for durability, which I feel it will give me. Dropped 1 star as not keen on gun, it’s quite large & does seem to leak a bit, not lots just some. Watch tap fitting as I assumed it wld fit & didn’t so needed to re-configure fittings. Overall a Good Buy.!!

Had to return the first as the metallic casing came away to expose the inner tube, but no issue there. The replacement is working well so far so hope that continues. It looks to be a high quality piece of equipment, and the spray gun is really easy to use and comfortable to hold. I am wishing no further problems as I really like this hose. Only gave 4 for durability for aforementioned issue

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersHaving tried different expandable triple and quad walled hoses that simply went out of shaped after two or three uses One expandable hose even had a bepoke fitting at one end that could not be adpated to use quick connector at the none tap end (so could not be attached to a pressure washer or car hose brush). I decided to buy the FITLIFE. Very impressed by its ease of use (100′ coils up in a bucket easily), High quality quick connect metal end fittings, both ends are swivel jointed eliminating twising the stainless steel coils of the hose itself. The hose is almost the same weight as the triple walled expandable hoses. NOTE it will NOT fit onto Gardenia portable hose reel as the end fittings are quite long so will NOT attach to the inner quick fit of the portable Gardenia hose reel. However its actually easier to coil the hose into a bucket and carry it to where you need it. Simply uncoils as you pull it out of the bucket… easy peasy !! Well made, well packaged and well done FITLIFE.

Liked this item as I have cats and hope they can’t put a hole in it with their claws. A great head on it for turning on different flows. The mist one is good in the greenhouse.

Well worth the money. Very high quality. Comes with all fittings. Very powerful jet/water flow. Well worth the extra tenner from the cheap, replace every year hoses. You will not be disappointed.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersLike the no tangle hose , no rusting . had a soft covered expandable hose but started to leak , so needed something more substantial for my garden. I do like the ergonomic sprayer nozzle easy to use and feels good in palm of hand. Hopefully this hose will last years.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI was a bit concerned when choosing this item, I wasn’t sure from the description if it would connect to standard Hozelock fittings, it does perfectly. The connectors are strong and well made, I was able to fit it to my plastic wall mounted hose reel which made storing it a doddle. What a difference from my old plastic hose which kinked all the time, that went straight in the bin. I don’t know how long this one will last, but looking at the quality of construction I should think it will last quite some time.

This is s be a good hose but does not say what fittings it took it is compatible with Hoselock. However, the hose has nothing on it that will fit with a hose reel, which is a nuisance having to leave 22m of hose on the patio
A complete lack of information on sellers part.
the reel I bought at the same time is rendered useless without ever being used as there is nothing on the hose that enables it to fit onto any reel.

Reasonably lightweight, doesn’t kink, spray head has different settings which is great. Downside is, obviously it’s not retractable but love it!

This is quite heavy which is due to the metal shrouding. It works like it should but I do have my concerns. Will it rust? I know it’s stainless steel but unless it’s of the best quality then it will eventually rust if left out in the rain. It really reminds me of the shower hose in the bathroom but much, much longer. The spray head is nice quality and feels good in the hand.

Pipeline is very long, good quality, all-round no corner, wash freely.

I was very excited to receive this hose pipe as I have tried many hoses over the years many go brittle or recently the stretch ones seem to spring a leak.
This had potential to be my forever hose. Pulling it out of the box I was very very impressed with the fittings this looks somewhat like professional hydraulic fittings I’m used to seeing at work.
After reading the instructions it recommends not storing outside and to empty the hose after every use. Being that it only has a 6 month warranty I wouldn’t risk leaving it outside with water In it.
It didn’t look very tidy on my hose rack anyway.
If you are happy to empty the hose and put away every time and not store outside then this is a great hose that looking at it should last a very long time it really is well made.
The gun is also nice and using all the spray patterns I was happy especially with jet that actually seemed to give more power than what I’m previously used to.
I wish it was food safe as I’d use it in my motor home as storing and emptying would have been perfect but it doesn’t say anything about food safe so I won’t risk it.
I hope this review has helped you with your purchase.

      Looks great slightly impractical

I love this stainless steel hose pipe! Akin to a very long shower hose, this comes with metal push fit connections which swivel as you use the hose, so no kinks and an easy to hold hose gun.
The gun doesn’t have a trigger, but a small valve device to cut off the water stream when changing settings or moving about, which I found much more manouvreable and not so difficult to keep open.
The 25ft hose is long enough to connect to my power washer at a good distance, but not too heavy.

Strong and sturdy but too heavy

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMy hoses keep getting damaged, either by kids, dogs or me accidentally kinking them somewhere and they just don’t feel strong enough so we have nocked it up a notch to try and stop all that with this harder wearing hose.

It’s sort of like a shower hose, but stronger, looks really nice outside as it’s different to the usual yellow / green hoses too, so could even be a design choice if you’re that picky.

The length seems accurate although i have nothing long enough to measure it, it reaches to the front of the house to allow for car washing so does it’s job, it also comes with a sprayer head as well as the connectors for that which are also upgrades on the standard plastic ones.

      Needed something stronge

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersIntuitively, this might not seem like a good idea. The wrapped, coiled stainless steel-sheaved tubing that serves for a shower hose will not necessarily work so well in an outdoors environment, exposed to weather, dirt and mechanical challenges. The end fittings are crimped on, so I can’t determine how the internal construction differs from a typical shower hose without destroying the hose in the process. The great flexibility of this hose indicates that the lining is not as substantial as more conventional garden hoses, but it likely matches the expandable types in thickness and toughness. I once owned a flat reel hose that, when it failed, was revealed to consist of a thin polythene tube covered with woven fabric. Shower hoses often fail when the thin inner tubing hardens and cracks. This hose won’t be subjected to hot water, and is somewhat protected from UV light by the steel, but it might still get hot if left in the sun. Freezing conditions probably won’t do it any good either. Time will tell just how durable this hose is, but a lot will depend on how well it is treated.
Other concerns centre around its mechanical strength and keeping it clean. I haven’t the heart to damage it deliberately, but suspect that it wouldn’t be difficult to squash or bend that coiled covering. And it won’t be as easy to keep clean as smooth plastic hoses.
I could be wrong, but I think this hose will need careful handling to keep it in good working order.
The build quality is very good, with nicely machined solid metal fittings with BSPP threads and quick-release connectors to suit British taps and accessories. The kit includes spare seals and a decent spray attachment with eight spray patterns. This has some metal parts, although the aluminium hose connector is a little rough, and the rotary water volume valve on top is stiff. The latter may free up with use.
This is a fresh approach to garden hose design. Although I have some reservations about its potential durability and practicality, so far, it has been fine, and I’ll base the rating on that, and update should any of these issues arise. At 40.69 currently for the 15 metre version, it’s not inexpensive. The 30 metre option at 50.69 is better value, and a more useful length for us.

Unusual garden hose with high quality fittings. Questionable durability.

This hose is small enough to dtore but long enough for what I need it for, watering plants and washing my motorcycle. Has different pressures for any kind of needs. Does the job, no leaks, no issues. Very happy with this hose and good value for money.

Watering the garden has been transformed into an enjoyable experience. The hose’s flexibility is remarkable, allowing it to reach every corner without kinking. The solid fittings and sprayer nozzle deliver a consistent water flow, and its rust-resistant stainless steel ensures durability. Easy storage and lightweight design make it a delight to use. Try using it for outdoor cleaning tasks too, it handles them brilliantly.

This is a very long non expanding stainless steel hose that comes with a shower head and tap attachments. It looks sturdy and one that would last longer but it does have to be stored properly. Don’t think that you could leave it out when not in use as the care instructions mention to not leave it for weather. Doesn’t get coiled up like the free expanding hoses.

On first use of this metal hose by TheFitLife everything appears to be as claimed, and it looks a lot less untidy than either a conventional or expandable hose although also a lot heavier.

The metal connectors fit easily onto the outdoor tap and not even a dribble of water leaks out whilst it appears to be very difficult to get the hose into a tangle and it does not kink at all – another improvement over other types of hose.

I did not particularly like the spray gun that’s supplied, I much prefer the conventional trigger style as I find them easier to use and i do feel that at the price being charged there could have been some sort of wall hanger supplied – I’ve put the hose into one of those potato grow bags for storage.

Overall I feel that, so long as it lasts more than a couple of gardening seasons this hose should prove to be a good investment.

Well made set and It’s so much easier to use than the cheaper traditional garden hose, it doesn’t kink easily twists and untangles, cost a bit more than other cheaper alternatives but definitely a good manufacturing quality investment!

      Well made

Good Stainless steel pipe is very good, not easy to break, and very long, can wash a lot of places, very like.

This hosepipe looks premium quality and very durable, a nice stainless steel finish , it’s still very bendy and not rigid at all , the hose looked thinner than I thought but it doesn’t effect the water flow at all , it flows very well , no chance of it kinking and being squashed as easily like rubber and plastic hose pipes.

It’s weather proof and rust proof thanks to the premium stainless steel build quality, so it should last a long time , it’s solid build quality makes it very durable but it’s not as lightweight as a standard non metallic hose pipe but it’s excellent quality.

The spray gun nozzle and fittings are also superb quality, it can fit on our outdoor tap instantly and the spray gun is comfortable to hold , is not cheap looking at all and has number of spray modes for watering plants etc.

A good quality 7m 25ft hose pipe , ideal for small and medium sized gardens for hosing down the drive , washing the car , watering the garden lawn or flower beds.

      I’d recommend this hosepipe

This can best be described as a really long shower hose, which can be used in the garden.

I’m not quite sure what I was initially expecting from such a hose but it is surprisingly flexible (or perhaps unsurprisingly flexible, given a shower hose is very flexible…) and pleasingly, didn’t exhibit one of the key frustrations of regular hoses – kinking.

The hose comes with a range of connections, two of which are permanently fixed to each end of the hose (a tap connector is also included, along with a spray gun). The connections are the same as normal hose connections but are metal rather than plastic so should hopefully be more durable. By and large, I found the hose and connections to be watertight albeit, the connection with the tap did leak quite significantly when the hose was pulled – but once the pressure on the hose was released, the leak stopped again.

Included with the set is a spray gun and my first impressions of this were that it was very basic. However, once I’d used it, I quickly realised this wasn’t the case as it has 8 different spray settings and a variable flow rate switch to turn the water flow on and off (which I didn’t think it initially had). It perhaps does have a bit of a cheap plastic feel to it but for me, the real quality is in the hose pipe itself and the spray gun can be quickly and easily replaced if necessary.

Storage of the hose pipe is a slight downside for me as I found it very difficult to coax it into a roll, as parts of the hose only wanted to bend in certain directions. I’ve therefore resorted to leaving it in a heap on the garage floor (the instructions say to drop it into a bucket but you’d need quite a large bucket for it to fit).

Overall, it’s a pretty decent hosepipe for the money and whilst there are a few niggles, it has plenty of advantages too.

This hose pipe resembles the metal pipes used in showers. It has some real advantages over it’s plastic competitors, it bends without forming those kinks which slow down water, less likely to to get puncture holes and less prone breaking (plastic gets brittle over time). The connectors fit well to taps and didn’t leak and there are 8 different patterns on the spray gun. It is a tad expensive, the 15m was 60.99 at the time of this review, which if it’s as durable as it appears might save money in the long term, but i feel they could have provided a hose reel for storing purposes in that price.

    27. SadieF60ulprd says:

Now that we’re coming up to spring, this hose set will come in handy.

The hose gun has 8 different spray patterns depending on what you’re watering or washing, which can easily be changed by twisting the head.

The hose pipe is all metal and an OK length at 7 meters. It will be fine for smaller gardens, but isn’t ideal if you’re looking to water a medium to large sized one.

So far though, it’s done the job as expected with no leaks, so I’m hoping it contributes this way, but time will tell.

All in all, it’s a decent hose set, but overpriced in my opinion at 42.99, which was the price at time of writing.

I hope you found this review helpful.

A good but expensive hose set.
