I love the fact that you can double jump and when in the multiplayer there are different types of pilots like the stun pilot would definitely say a good gift for anyone (didn’t go on about the campaign just well it would take two hours to explain how good and great it is) I would recommend
3 years of playing this and it’s still just as enjoyable. Not usually into games like this but the gameplay is very fun; and nice to get a game from EA that doesn’t involve paying for extra online features
I enjoy fps so looked up online some ratings and this was in the top 10. Searched for a price and it was under 7 delivered what’s not to like?
Would recommend if you like shooters, good game and brand new.
I found it to be really fun to play once, with a decent variety of missions to try and keep the gameplay exciting, but the single player could definitely be longer and I’m not sure it has much replay value.
Boooooooooooom! What could be better than a fully useable battlefield, tactics and awesome weapons … hmmmmm I know let them have big awesome robots tooo kaboooooooooooom
Honestly though simple tone of the best FPS games I’ve ever played and the multiplayer is awesome. I hope they do a number 3 and do it properly like this
This Game is a must buy for any gamer who enjoys a “Rainy Sunday Morning” playing in the FPS genre.
Fantastic graphics, Smooth game play and a great little single player campaign mission.
I would recommend this game to anyone on a tight budget, as it can now be picked up for a price of 5 – 8
The time travel aspects of this game are truly amazing….!
I don’t normally write reviews but for this game I will make an exception. First of all the campaign is just wow, my only issue with it was that i feel it was too short or maybe it was that good I just wanted more, anyway the campaign is that good that I could probably just play it over and over again and not get bored (ok maybe a slight exaggeration after about the 10th time I would get bored) but in all seriousness it was a fantastic campaign certain the best FPS campaign I’ve played MW2.
Now on to multiplayer I only played 3 only matches but in those 3 games although I didn’t win any I had fun and wanted to continue playing but other things to do.
Overall if I could give this game more stars then I certainly would! I can’t wait for titanfall 3
Protocol 3- protect the pilot. Love it. Simply fantastic. The campaign it great, short but a really fun and we’ll made story. BT, your titan had such a strong relationship with you ah just buy it it’s 7 pounds! Online is pretty fun As Well
Titanfall 2 is good game, not great, for reasons i will go into, but very good. First of all, its great that its got a campaign this time around, because without a campaign there is no reason for me to buy it, so i can only speak for the campaign, which was very good, though it could have been a bit longer, but fun while it lasts for sure. The thing that would have made this game truly great in my opinion, would have been to have Co-Op in the campaign, like all the great shooters have, such as Halo and Gears of War.. imagine fighting with your friend/s and one calls in or finds a Titan and is fighting alongside you in one of these giant machines, or you in one whike your friends are on foot, or times when your all in one unleashing hell on the enemy! such a wasted potential and experience in my opinion.. but Infinity Ward seem incapable of making Co-Op campaigns, which is a shame..
The games the campaigns lack of Co-Op is why i didn’t give this full marks, but i guess i’m supposed to feel grateful that it actually has one this time? still, would like to see it introduced in the future, to truly realise the franchises epic potential.
…at least Titanfall 2 has a campaign mode, which allows time to hone ones skills before diving into the frantic online battles! Graphics are amazing, gameplay in campaign mode is varied and explores every aspect of the physics of the Titanfall 2 world, and the online games are awesome…albeit with me being completely rubbish against “real” opponents!
Great game. The multipler is fast past and still has the original Titanfall feel. The campaign was enjoyable and its an amazing price and a underate game. If you enjoy any shooters I recommend it you’ll enjoy it and if you dont you didn’t waste 40 but i bet you will enjoy it becauss its a great game and you dont have to get stupid loot boxes and the dlc’s are free it’s awesome game but I expected nothing less then the game designing God’s that are electronic arts i just wish you didn’t chose to release the game at the same time as the two biggest shooter franchises battlefield and COD if you didn’t do that this game might have been more popular but a least you didn’t sell your soul to microtransaction. Love the game keep up the good work you poor under paid saints at electronic arts
Not bad at all this game, not very good reviews but, that would have been by people who can’t play it, the only problem for me was the update which is 27gb, the game itself if over 40gb, so a long time to load, if you have enough space on your console, and you don’t own this game yet, then you should get it, the gameplay is great and the graphics are superb, and it costs less than a tenner.
Decent first person shooter with the neat extra of being able to call up and take control of a Titan. Much like the first game with better graphics and works best when you play online with friends.
My son has enjoyed it and says its better than Halo but not as a good as Overwatch.
There is No split screen co-op mode which always disappoints me as an occasional player and not being a fan of online gaming.
If you can pick it up for under 25 it shouldn’t disappoint.
Its a neat game. good graphics, but could be made to use more of the xbox’s power as i feel it didn’t do what it could’ve. It had a very fun story.
AAABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS GAME. Never had so much fun navigating a campaign which provided an entertaining story with some absolutely phenomenal cutscenes. Multiplayer-wise, the game has come a huge way from Titanfall 1, which I played at EGX and bought on release. Respawn listens to its community and they have some wonderful ethics. I bought this game to support Respawn (because I promised myself not to get games during my final year at uni) so even though I’ve only managed 5hrs of multiplayer time in one month, I absolutely love this game.
(Bought on XB1 store)
Brilliant campaign, fast paced and a good story for a FPS, only issue i ran into was i couldn’t connect to a multiplayer match, i was given the impression that i could play online with bots with an Xbox Live Silver account, unless there is a problem on EA’s side.
Either way i am gonna renew my gold subcription for this game, that’s how good it is 🙂
Hi! I just want to say about it, that this game is one of the best I’ve ever played. Great graphics, free DLC, an outstanding storyline for the single player campaign. I do hope and a lot of players online (console XB1-PS4-PC) are looking forward for the #Titanfall3, please continue this story arc it has a potential to be one of the best.
OMG I was so disappointed when I finished this game. I thought “how do you follow that ??”
This game has everything – fantastic graphics, fast paced, atmosphere, action and camaraderie between you (Cooper) and your Titan (BT).
Please EA bring out Titanfall 3 sooner rather than later.
Finally words actually fail me with this game only to say Absolutely Brittiant. Well done EA.
Great fun decent campaign very enjoyable, intense multiplayer I enjoyed the first one and loved the smart pistol which appears briefly in the campaign which was great but have not come into contact with it in the multiplayer but I have not played it that much. Highly recommended as when you are on a roll it feels very rewarding. Just got a new tv and it has 4k which really makes very detail stand out which I didn’t think was possible even watching special effects segments in tv shows like DC Legends of tomorrow looked great in space and so does this. Huge fun buy it or if you want to go for low budget option get the first game and play it as both have great multiplayers.
This is hands down the best multiplayer FPS I have played since Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. The character movement is exceptional, the gunplay is best in class and the multiplayer modes are incredibly fun.
You need no prior experience with Titanfall to enjoy and get the best out of this.
This is an exceptional game.
Possibly the best game of 2016… it has a movement system similar to BO3 when not in a titan but has a lot of choices of abilities like stim, grapple, invisibility and more this combined with a good selection of titans with unique abilities means that the game is not only very fun to play but it rewards skill instead of being 100&% pay to win. Happy custome
This game is one of the best FPS games that I have played in a long time. If you are feeling burnt out on COD like I know many people are, and are frustrated with how poor infinite warfare is, then PLEASE TRY out this game. It is better than the original titanfall, which was already a fantastic game, and it builds on all the awesome ideas that Titanfall 1 brought to the table. There are more Titans, more weapons, more maps, and FREE DLC! This game is fresh and new, and is the most innovative game on the market this year. If you have overlooked this game, then please just try it. I promise you, you will LOVE this game.
An amazing game with a brilliant single player. Although most people will be getting this for MP alone I would recommend the SP if you like platform shooters. I played through the game on normal and although I thought it was pretty short I really enjoyed it. There’s plenty of variation in scenarios you’ll face in SP to keep it fresh and due to the short cast I found myself getting pretty attached to Jack and BT. The gun play is solid and the wall running is executed pretty well, although I will recommend route planning before hand, if you try to improvise like I did you can sometimes find yourself running along a path that suddenly stops. The Multiplayer is great fun and I’ve often found myself going back to this over over shooters, although the MP is lacking depth in comparison to other games in things like weapons and perks there’s plenty of aesthetic unlocks and just enough weapons to keep it interesting. I hope this review helps bring another fan into the Titan Fall world.
Game is awesome, better than the original and there are hours of fun to be had (and frustration) on the multiplayer option. Single player campaign seemed short even on the harder difficulties but the Multiplayer is where it really shines. Better multiplayer customisability options and no more Burn Cards so less complexity than the original.
Over all, excellent game and would recommend to any fan of the original.
Awesome game! Clever single player gameplay dynamics mean each mission has its own cool spin on it and nothing feels repetitive, once you’ve mastered some sort of flow this game looks and feels intense! Fly through everyone causing fast paced destruction or take it steady and pick off the enemies one at a time, however you choose to take down your enemies you will not be disappointed, story could have been just slightly longer but it was worth every second, online is great fun too although I’m not the greatest player I don’t feel overwhelmed by overskilled players either, great game
How difficult was that?! I bought the first one and I absolutely hated it when I discovered it has no single campaign mode. I sold it on eBay, cut my losses, learned my lesson and promised never again will EA take me for a ride. This was the second time after Star Wars Battlefraud but a friend of mine was so persistent that I try it it so I went over to have a go. Am I glad I did… what a great game it is. I don’t buy that garbage ‘people don’t play campaign any more’ as it is exactly that, garbage. I started with Commodore 64, Manic Miner, Eagle Empire so I would say I have been playing games for a few years now. I will always want to play single player campaign, always. It looks like we ave been heard and I am so glad that turned out to be the case. I am absolutely loving every second of it, what a great game!!
Great game, most people will buy this game for the multiplayer and rightly so but the campaign is also excellent and not as short as many people make out reading some earlier reviews.
Comfortably better than the new infinite warfare so if you’re thinking about purchasing just go for it. Only slight hesitation is the seemingly lack of people playing, only around 14000 worldwide at 8pm GMT last night. Hopefully the player base grows and stays there so we can still enjoy speedy matchmaking
Titanfall 2 is outstanding. The single player campaign is so good I will definitely be doing it again and there aren’t many games I play through twice. The story is great and the graphics are sublime, wonderfully detailed and beautifully smooth. I haven’t played much of the multiplayer yet but did play Titanfall 1 to death. It doesn’t seem as fair as the 1st to be honest, but that may well just be down to me not being very good. If you enjoyed Titanfall 1 then this is an ESSENTIAL purchase. If you never played the 1st you are in for one heck of a treat. Buy it now and have one hell of a ride.
Awesome just awesome, an upgrade on the previous title, offers single player too and you can go through the game mode, nice additions and some good new titans, I simply cant play on this enough, the graphics are good and not jumpy and you will spend hours wondering how you got sniped and attacked
The campaign is really good, which is real improvment from the first game, the online multiplayer has also been tweaked and improved. It’s a real fun experience, playing with friends or alone this game is quite franckly epic at times, despite all the good, the map design on the multiplayer has somewhat become worse from it’s fromer game.
The single-player campaign is a cinematic thrill ride with some interesting characters and very compelling relationship arc between the protagonist and his Titan. It features fun boss fights and awesome set pieces that do a great job of making the player feel like a real badass sci-fi hero. The only flaw with the campaign is its length; start to finish is around 6 hours but I can forgive that due to the single player being a secondary focus in this game, which brings me to the multiplayer. The multiplayer portion of this game is pretty damn good, thanks to the fact that player-controlled Titans really shake-up the matches and creates a “no two matches are the same” feeling which stops gameplay stagnation. Player progression feel tight and rewarding, with almost every game leading to a new unlock/rank-up. Game-type and map variations are pretty good, not the strongest part of the game but nothing worth scrutiny. Overall a really well done game which seems to have gone somewhat under the radar, I would certainly reccomend to anyone who enjoys action FPS.
I was (and still am) a huge fan of the original Titanfall and this just blows that one away in almost every way. The demo they released early this year doesn’t do this game justice at all, as they have tweaked and adjusted so much since then. The single player campaign is an utter joy to play. A mix of action packed shoot outs wall running puzzles, with your new ‘BFF’ titan by your side. Some of the levels are quite ingenious too. Anyhoo, the multilayer is absolutely top notch too. The feeling of power you get when you get into your first titan is incredible. The stomping of your steps and the thundering bass of your chosen weapon is mind blowing. A big shout out must go to the sound design. Fantastic stuff!! Out of your titan your pilot is extremely nimble and again, a joy to control. The action is frantic and extremely satisfying to play. There’s a good selection of maps and game modes and the developers have stated that all new ccontent will be free. No season pass needed for this game!! As you can tell, I can not praise this game highly enough. It’s fast, fun, loaded to the teeth with content and will keep you entertained for many weeks to come. Just watch a good Titanfall player on YouTube just to see how incredible this game is. There’s nothing else quite like it! I hope this helps and happy gaming.
Don’t be fools and overlook this game in the face of two other releases (COD and Battlefield 1)
This is a fantastic single player campaign and has a superb multiplayer element – as good as there has been in years to be honest.
Looks fantastic and is ultra fun to play – do not miss out – buy it now!
This the first game I’ve pre-ordered. Glad I did. Been told to have a break after playing non stop for three hours. Graphics are beautiful, as is the gameplay. The graphics remind me of the haziness of Killzone, the way it focuses and blurs depending on your targeting.
The campaign is excellent and a good trainer for the multiplayer.
Very addicted!
Different and better than the original.
As a non fan of the original game I almost didn’t bother but wanted to see if they had improved it. Campaign is good, really good. Ignore any bad review about it being short, I’ve put hours into this and still not completed it. Take your time and take in the amazing graphics and enjoy yourself. It’s a great training ground for the multiplayer and how to actually use a Titan. Multiplayer has a learning curve to get over but the campaign really does help you through this. I expect to play this game for many hours and I’m glad I gave it a go second time round. The movements are great also… The boost jump and wall run is smooth much better than recent Call of Duty games.
One final note, buy two games this winter… Titanfall 2 for your futuristic style boost jump game play and Battlefield 1 for the old boots on the ground.
