Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Baby Bottles, Slow-Flow
Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Baby Bottles, Slow-Flow Breast-Like Teat with Anti-Colic Valve, 150ml, Pack of 3, Mixed Colours
Which bottle teats are compatible with Closer to Nature bottles?
Closer to Nature baby bottles are ONLY compatible with Closer to Nature teats and cannot be used with Advanced Anti-Colic bottle teats.
Which flow rate do I need?
Every baby is different but as a guide we suggest slow flow for 0+months, medium flow for 3+ months and fast flow for 6+ months. As your baby grows and can feed more quickly, you can buy faster flowing replacement teats.
How do I know when to increase the bottle teat flow rate?
The following are all potential signs that you may need to increase the bottle teat flow rate: The bottle teat collapses during feeding; it takes longer than 20 minutes for baby to finish a bottle; baby tugs at the teat; baby falls asleep mid-bottle.
Where should the valve be when feeding my baby?
The valve will work wherever it’s positioned but the best place is at the top, near your baby’s nose.
How do I ensure the built-in anti-colic valve in the teat is venting properly?
When assembling your bottle, hold the teat up to the light to check the slit in the silicone isn’t sealed closed. If it has, pinch it gently with teat tongs to re-open. If the valve has sealed closed, your bottle won’t vent properly.

I have mainly been BF the little one with occasionally giving expressed milk. I have these bottles and another brand.
These are a really handy size and feel nice to use. They are very easy to wash.
The LO accepts the teat with no problems although when he was very little it would sometimes be hit or miss and he preferred the other brand, the other issue is he would get a bit windy with this bottle.
Overall we are are happy with the bottles and would use again if we were to have another.
Perfect, owned lots of Tommee Tippee bottles bought from Boots, the ones from Amazon, were no different, in terms of quality.
Sterilised in boiling water, all 3 bottles, around 5 times now, and there has been no deformity of the bottle or nipple flow. Nothing negative to say, comfortable grip that’s easy on a baby’s fingers.
I didn’t know who this brand was and in my research for everything baby, this name came more than several times and pointed to good quality. I’ve been collecting a few items for an expectant friend and as these seem to be the best, I got them. Although most things I’ve not told her I’ve got, items such as these I let her known so she doesn’t buy twice and also saves her the cost. She already knew about the brand and was thrilled I got them so have no doubt they won’t do the job right. Now, just waiting for baby to arrive. Price wise, so many baby things are expensive and as these are a top trusted brand the price here is competitive.
I personally don’t think you can go wrong with tommee tippee bottles I’ve used in for both of my children over the space of 6 years.
Versatile easy to clean easy to maintain I find if you ever need to find new teats that’s also never an issue as they’re easy enough to find anywhere.
This set In Particular I love the colours!
Such good value for money, baby loves them and best of all they are easy to hold.
This is a really nice set of three anti colic bottles. The bottles have a 260ml capacity and are blue in colour. As is always expected with Tommee Tippee products, the quality and performance is excellent.
The bottles are easy to clean and decent value for money. I gave these to my friend to use with her baby son – she says baby is very happy with them. No problems at all whilst in use.
Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Baby Bottles, Slow-Flow Breast-Like Teat with Anti-Colic Valve, 150ml, Pack of 3, Mixed Colours
Perfect set of 3 bottles. Trusted brand, excellent quality and easy to clean. Particularly like that these have the anti colic valve as an added precaution.
Good value. Would recommend.
I love the small Tommee Tippee Close to Nature Bottles. They are so small and petite I love them. They are perfect for baby is this first few weeks when they are getting settled earthside and not drinking very much. The shape of the teat is great as it’s like the breast. Beth good. Would buy again.
At 16.99 at the time of reviewing for this set of 3 I consider these reasonably priced.
I have always used Tommee Tippee and consider the products they make well made and reliable, these are no exception.
The teats are soft and breast shaped with good flexibility for easy latch and comfort for the baby.
The slow flow means the baby is less likely to experience wind/any discomfort after feeding.
With a capacity of 150ml they’re perfect for a smaller feed, with a wider bottle shape allowing for an easier hold.
This set of 3 milk bottles are good quality , love that is so easy to hold and feels comfortable .
They are untikolic but don’t work that well in that.
Is easy to clean , but they do take bad smell pretty quick so you have to wash after use.
Price when I reviewed was 17 it is expensive as you can find a lot cheaper on supermarkets , otherwise good ones
These are nice pastel coloured bottles packed in a box rather than wrapped in plastic (so need to be sterilised before use as with all bottles).
The teets are softer than other bottles, even other Tommee tippee bottles, but that is where they are “closer to nature” ones. The overall quality of the bottles seems very good and they are comfortable to hold.
I haven’t experienced colic as yet but hopefully we won’t need to due to the anti colic valve!
The pack I received is for 0m+ and very gradual flow of milk, so is only really suitable for very small babies.
Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Baby Bottles.
As always Tommee Tippee products really stand up with quality. These aren’t the cheapest babies bottles, however these are ‘closer to nature’ and help with that transition from breast to bottle. They are so soft and give similarities to breast feeding like the flex of the breast and also a nipple like teat. They are suitable from 0 months. The pack contents 3 x 150ml bottles.
Tommee Tippee bottles are my favourite. We already have a few sets and they have been brilliant. I love the design and colour of these bottles!
Our baby had terrible colic/reflux and after moving to these bottles the colic/reflux almost stopped completely. All babies are different and so these aren’t guaranteed to work for all babies but they certainly worked for mine. These are fantastic and so easy to clean.
The size of the hole in the silicone nipple is appropriate to the age of the baby. The nipples are soft and flexible and have a great, “natural” shape. The product looks nice and is practical. The bottles help me to efficiently feed my son without causing disturbances in the abdomen.
Tommee Tippee is a very well known, trusted, reputable brand, whose products I used for my children when they was babies (now 22, 20 and 16 years).
There is certainly no compromise when choosing products for your baby, and to have peace of mind that the items you are using are good quality, genuine and safe for your baby.
I highly regard ‘Tommee Tippee’ one of the very few trusted brands of baby products.
In this trio pack you receive:
1 x Mint (5 fl oz/150ml)
1 x White (5fl oz/150ml)
1 x Peach (5fl oz/150ml)
Each with a stage 1 ‘slow flow’ teat, with anti-colic valve.
Suitable from birth
Our little one hasn’t had colic yet, though I am half expecting it as I don’t think it is completely unavoidable. The anti-colic valve is a simple one way flap built into the edge of the teat. It lets the air in easily, so no vacuum builds up. I try to get the valve angled so it is above the milk line when the level drops, so that it doesn’t bubble up through the milk. The Dr. Brown bottles we had with our first child used to have a pipe that let the air in above the milk, but the pipe was a bit of a faff to clean. The baby hasn’t had any problems latching on to the bottle or feeding from it. The teat isn’t rigid on the wider diaphragm, so it moves in and out slightly as the baby suckles.
It is a good set of bottles to start you off. I have no complaints over them.
Priced at 16.99 for these tommee tippee bottles is a good value for money, as these are really soft yet durable bottles perfect for little ones and really good quality. Comes in different colours too which is nice Quite happy with these and would definitely recommend.
I like the Tommy Tippee brand, I’ve always had good items from them. These are a great size for younger babies especially if having to wean quite young as they often get colic when first weaned or when younger. This is where the ant colic valve comes into its own. I’ve found it’s made a big difference and he’s taken to the breast type tests easier than I though too. I would certainly buy these to wean as I think the price us affordable especially for a nights sleep
