I bought this because I didn’t want to spend loads on a bottle warmer since as a breastfeeding mom, we wouldn’t be using bottles daily. I wanted something simple and practical, that dad and babysitters can use without difficulty. It turned out to be very handy! It’s basically just a thermos flask with a huge lid but does the job well enough

Bought this for holiday to be able to warm bottles through the day. Its amazing. Fill up in the morning with boiling water and it stays hot throughout the entire day, even the next morning when not emptied it was still hot enough to warm up a bottle or food. Would definitely recommend.

I know this is intended for heating up feeds, but since that is no longer recommended, I use it for the opposite. I make up a bottle with boiling water from a small thermos and fill this one with iced water. The lid is perfect for popping the bottle in and cooling the feed.

Absolutely fantastic for feeding on the go. I breastfeed so travel with alot of frozen breastmilk. After getting sick of hearing the health and safety script from all of my local pubs, resteraunts and coffee shops and having to go backwards and forwards to the front counters to defrost my babies milk, I bought one of these! So much more convenient, large enough to store the correct amount of water but compact enough to throw in the changing bag.

I love this flask so much. I’ve used it with both of my children! But have found a lot of scale in my old one so bought a new one, that was supposed to be the exact same as my old one, and the exact same as the one shown in the picture in the Amazon link. Yet I was sent the other version of the tommee tippee flask.

So I bought this thinking it was a flask for hot water to actually make formula milk, partner quickly pointed out it’s for warming food and does not keep water hot enough for making milk – ended up buying a thermos flask and now use this for cold water to cool the bottle after it’s made, fits perfect into changing bag. I imagine it will come in handy when we start weaning.

Product has brought so much ease to my life. I have been able to travel seamlessly with it, and the water stays really hot in it. It is also very easy to clean. I just wish it was a little bit bigger to accommodate more water for long-haul journeys.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI was very skeptic purchasing this, but I’m glad I did. Wish they made this in a bigger size at last 1 L so you have enough water to use if you are out for longer periods and your baby tends to cluster feed. The main thing put the water straight from the kettle after boiling so you can have it hot for at least 8 hours. That’s what I noticed I can hold. Even at home can be used, but I have a different kettle that keeps warm and show’s temperature on a little display. But outside this is a life saver.

What I didn’t like was the one I bought 2years ago didn’t keep hot. I had to buy another.

What I like is the size. It can fit into any baby bag.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is a great help, not just while out and about. I use it at home too so I don’t have to constantly boil the kettle, especially with the cost of electricity currently! Ot stays warm a significant amount of time. Some other reviews say it leaks, I’ve mot experienced that yet unless I’ve not done it up tight enough.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAt first I was sceptical about this product. What difference was there between this and a regular thermos flask? But having tried both (to prove my wife wrong) I stand corrected.

Firstly, once the outer shell has been removed, this becomes the receptacle to place the hot water and the feed to be warmed in. Its much larger than the cup with the thermos, so it works better.

Secondly, the flask part itself is operated by a single button, so easy to do one handed, which means you never have to put down your screaming baby.

Thirdly, the water is kept hot so is ideal to use with a Nuby

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSo I ordered this product for my sister, hoping it would help her out a bit, and it most certainly has.
She uses it to prepare feeds in the night…having this means she isnt standing in the kitchen waiting making up fresh bottles and doing all that faff. She simply adds th e hot water to the Tippee, puts the bottle in and sets her timer/alarm. Really doesnt require much effort.
She uses it all the time, going out, day feeds, night feeds.
As I say, its so simple to use. Its compact so easily fits in her bag when going out for the day making it. I’m so glad I got her it as it really has helped lift some of the stress and pressures of having a new baby and learning everything.

You need this, it’s a life saver!

I use it for my baby’s feeds when we’re out, I put cooled down kettle water in it, also I carry a room temp water bottle with me just in case it needs cooling down, I also have the tommee tippee milk dispensers which fit in perfectly with the tommee tippee bottles. (At this point tommee tippee should sponsor me)

If you have a newborn this can be used for night feeds too as the water stays sterile and stays at the temperature you need, I let my boiled kettle water cool for about 30mins and it’ll stay the same temperature throughout the night, instead of me going downstairs to make feeds in the night, with a screaming baby, I use this method and my baby no longer wakes up everyone instead of getting the tommee tippee prep machine I would recommend trying this method, it’s inexpensive and isn’t noisy like the machine

We have used this on average once a week for the past 3+ months. It looses heat faster than I’d like – but in 6 hours it comfortably heats 2 bottles of 210ml odd without issue (I pour back the hot water after the first is heated).

I have in a pinch also warmed up an Ellas kitchen food pouch – I’d make sure this is the second time you use the water & not the first as it does take about 7mins. Worked a treat though!

I’ve recommended it to friends who have purchased it and love it too.

Only negative is that it is quite bulky in order to accommodate pretty much any bottle size & volume (bonus if you need to heat food pouches/glass pots), but for the amount of work it’s done & a happy baby fed – I wouldn’t deduct a star for it. It is just something to be aware of when packing your bag.

Warming a bottle while you are out and about can be challenging sometimes and especially now when we have Covid in our lives. Having a baby during a pandemic it is not the dream time, however, it is something we need to go through. With my first baby I was used to sit somewhere when I am about to feed her, have a coffee and ask for bowl with hot water so I can warm up her milk. Now with my second one, I am not quite keen on repeating the same practice due to Covid. Therefore, I have purchased this food warmer to complement my Tommee Tippee bottles 🙂
It keeps the water hot for hours, it is suitable not only for when you are going out for a walk and would probably need it just for one feed outside, but also when you are travelling and need to warm up more feeds. It is really smart and compact so it does not take much space, and most importantly as it fits the Tommee Tippee bottle shape which is a bit wider than every other one on the market, it makes it suitable to fit bottles from other brands too.

Golden Review Award: 92 From Our UsersThis was one of the baby products that I was initially unsure about buying. I didn’t know whether it would be worth it and if I would actually use it much, but I use it all the time and it’s been so useful so I’m glad I bought it.

    How it works:
It’s simple but effective. It’s essentially just a flask, but the flask has a plastic container which screws over the top of it. So you fill the flask with boiling water, push the button to close the flask and stop the water from leaking, and screw the plastic container over the top. When you’re ready to heat a bottle, you unscrew the plastic container and turn it upside down. Push the button on the flask to open a gap in it to pour from, and pour the hot water into the plastic container. Pop the bottle in the plastic container of hot water and it’s warm in a few minutes.

    POSITIVES:
    – The flask keeps water really hot for hours
    – Quick and easy feeds on the go. I take sterilised feeding bottles and bottles of ready-to-feed liquid formula out and about, but my baby likes his milk warm, so I decant it into the feeding bottle and then use this travel bottle warmer to heat it up. Before I bought this I was simply asking in restaurants/cafes etc for a jug of hot water to heat the bottle – which most were happy to give, but having this meant that I had the hot water ready to go and could just get it out of my bag without queueing/finding someone to ask and waiting for them to heat the water and bring it out, so my baby gets his feed quicker when he’s hungry.
    – The plastic container that you put the bottle in with the hot water to heat seems to heat the bottle really quickly – I also use it at home for night feeds now as it’s quick and easy (I was boiling a kettle and using a pyrex jug of boiled water to heat bottles before and this warmer is so much faster)
    – It’s convenient and space saving in the changing bag that the plastic container fits over the flask itself, and the fact that it screws onto the flask helps stop any last drips of water that are left in the plastic container after emptying from escaping
    – The little sticker on the side of the flask that reminds you that when the button is popped up, the flask is closed and when the button is pushed down, the flask is ready to pour – I keep forgetting which way round it is! So this is useful.
    – The plastic container would fit all brands of bottle. I use it with Dr Brown’s bottles.

    NEGATIVES:
    – Unfortunately, as other reviewers have found, it sometimes leaks when it tips over in the changing bag, and it’s hard to keep upright all of the time. I’ve had leaking all over bibs, muslins and spare clothes and nappies in the changing bag, which isn’t ideal. I try to keep it wedged upright now. TIP: I’ve found that once I fill the flask and push the button to close it, if I then tip it upside down over the sink and give it a little shake before screwing the container over the top, a little stream of water comes out but then stops – this must be the little bit that was leaking out. So to help avoid leaks, once you’ve filled and closed the flask with the button, hold it over the sink to tip out the few drips that escape and then secure the plastic container over – and try to wedge it upright in the changing bag, just in case. I put it upright at one end of the bag and then fill the bag around it with spare clothes, nappies etc so that the flask is held upright.
    – The flask can’t be washed in the dishwasher, according to the instructions. I put the plastic container through the dishwasher regularly and it’s been fine, but haven’t tried the flask itself as the instructions say that it’s not suitable, and to wash it every so often by hand with warm, soapy water. It would save time if it was dishwasher proof, but then I don’t wash it after every single use as it only ever holds boiling water for heating bottles.

Update: overall, the positives far outweigh the negatives so I’m still really glad I bought this. My baby is now 12 months old and I still use it to warm his milk (he still doesn’t like it cold). For me, this was a really useful purchase.
