What an addictive game. Kids will love it, engrossing, spellbinding loved by all kids and adults in my family. Speed competitors a must for family.
Helps with motor skills, perception and coordination and concentration.
A purchase I don’t regret.
”Shocked” when I saw this ‘Original’ Screwball Scramble game was still available?
Thirty Odd years later, wickedly fun & frustrating party & social game, worth buying the add on also Screwball Scramble 2, which can be played as a separate game or can connect to the original screwball scramble to make one massive hilarious headache of a brilliant game…
As the contestants take on the Screwball Scramble course, they are faced with obstacles that are both challenging and hilarious. The first challenge, the rotating disc, sends players spinning around like a record player on overdrive. Some contestants manage to keep their balance and make it across, while others end up stumbling and falling into the water below.
Next up is the bridge of balls, where players must traverse a narrow walkway while dodging giant, rolling balls. It’s like a scene straight out of an action movie, and the contestants are the stars of the show. Some slip and fall, while others manage to leap and dodge their way to the other side.
As the game heats up, the players are faced with more and more obstacles, including the swing arm, the maze, and the final showdown: the screwball itself. This massive contraption sends players spinning and tumbling through a maze of gears and obstacles, testing their skill, endurance, and sanity.
Despite the chaos and the craziness, the Screwball Scramble game is a blast for all ages. It’s a classic retro game that still manages to entertain and thrill, even after all these years. So gather your family and friends, and get ready to take on the ultimate challenge: the Screwball Scramble
My 8 year old child loves this game, keeps him entertained, however the ramp to the dish is missing. There’s an option to return the whole product back for a replacement, but my son loves it too much to part with it now.
My children aged 9 and 4 received the first Screwball Scramble for Christmas. It’s been a hit and they both love it so I ordered the second one yesterday and it arrived today. They attached it to the first and have been non-stop playing it since. It’s as well made as the original, attaches easily and is just as fun. A great addition to the first game, the kids love it and its nice to see them not staring at screens!
Well bought the second one sons 7/12 loved it . Do bought the first.. they are glued ., highly recommend it.
Brought back my childhood even that annoying clock that is a distraction . But whole point of it. Fab for all ages .
Bought as a Christmas gift for a child who is certainly not short of presents. This has seemed to be one of the most popular gifts though and was played with for hours on Christmas Day. Easy to assemble and has so far stayed together well, despite the not so gentle children playing with it.
I have very fond memories of the original screwball scramble. This updated version brought back all the old memories.
My nephew enjoys it alot and is very happy with it
The components and plastic quality are ok, it’s not going to break at the drop of a hat but I won’t be surprised if it doesn’t survive very well when it inevitably gets bashed and dropped on the floor.
Awesome game, was one of my favourites to play as a child so I’ve decided to purchase for someone else as a Christmas gift as i think theyd enjoy it too, however instead of actually packing it you’ve stuck the labe on the actual box which I’m not happy with. With Christmas around the corner you’d think you’d pack parcels better. Now if in that future person decides to pass on the gift its going to have my name and address on the box. PLEASE RECONSIDER HOW YOU PACK YOUR PARCELS SO CLOSE TO CHRISTMAS. THANK YOU.
Got this for the kids to show them it’s not all Wii and Xbox’s, this was a game from my youth and to my surprise the kids loved it. We played for hours now and it’s severely competitive !
For a simple concept the kids have loved it, my kids are 4 and 6.
My 10year old bought this and it is brilliant, really easy to set up and the game itself is super fun. The whole family have played it and it is quite hard to complete the course, I don’t know how any one can complete it in the alloted time but that adds to the fun. Really great fun, hours of entertainme
I got this for my daughter for Christmas. I used to play this years ago myself and remembered loving it. I wanted something for Christmas that wasn’t techy or screen based – something more basic and just good fun.
It was trickier than I remembered when we started on it, but it soon came back. It took a bit of coaxing to get the kids to play it but once they saw what it was about, they loved it.
Real bit of nostalgia for me, and fun for my daughter. Love it.
This is MUCH easier than the original Screwball Scramble (that might be a good or bad thing, depending on how you feel); we all managed to complete it within a few tries, whereas the original always felt punishingly hard. It also doesn’t have a timer unit like the original, so there’s less pressure.
If you have the original Screwball Scramble you can put the two together such that on completing this “level 2” version, the ball then drops into the start position of the original, so you can play both “levels” back-to-back as one game, which is a nice touch, but without its own timer, you’re now trying to complete both stages in the original time.
Unfortunately i have had to return this game . Not sellers fault. Missing parts, dials dont work , parts look like there on the wrong way round .
Looks like a great game. My son would have loved it .
After already purchasing and then stupidly reading the reviews afterwards, I was worried because majority of reviews explained they got the German version of this game called crazy ball, I must of been lucky because when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised that it was the original tomy screwball scramble.
We already had level 2 the adapter came with level 2 and the timer comes in level 1. Easy to connect both and even though it’s a simple game it’s addictive and gave the family hours of fun timing ourselves and making it a competition.
Very happy with the purchase
Bought for my 8 year old as a birthday present. Was a hit for the kids and the parents enjoyed the nostalgia and got a bit competitive! Only issue was the last section of the game where you press to button to ring the bell. Was a bit to temperamental and the ball tended to fly off onto the floor which was quite annoying. Overall, good fun and worth the money.
This is a game that we return to again and again. You have a little metal ball (spare one provided in case of loss) and have to make your way around the course without the ball falling off. There are so many different bits to it. To get round the course without your ball falling off is a major challenge (one that I haven’t managed yet!) and we haven’t even thought about switching the timer on. It’s a game of practice and skill, and it’s really good fun. I think we’ve definitely got our money out it for the amount of times we have played, and we still need loads more goes to master the course! We all want to have a go at it whenever it comes out, the adults just as much as the children.
I was always a big fan of screwball scramble and it was a game I played religiously as a kid. I was pleasantly surprised that this was still around when I was looking for games to buy for my daughters 8th Birthday at the time. It looked exactly the same as the one I owned as a child however with a more modern look. My daughter was instantly glued to this game, focused and determined to work her way through each section. She was frustrated at the beginning and kept quitting after completing the first few obstacles however after a little extended break she was soon back on it and started getting more confident and was completing it within the timer. Definitely a game that helps the little ones improve their concentration especially if you have a hyper active child like mine. Fun for both children and adults and a great game to pull out when family and friends are around.
