Gives good light. I use it to light up the back door to my garage.
I use this product for extra light in dark areas at night. It’s very good for short visits to the bathroom in the dark and when there’s a power cut.
The holes in the base could do with being a bit larger to make it easier to fit. Apart from that it works very well

Purchased for elderly mother as an auto night light in a small bathroom, light is bright enough to illuminate the room, but would suggest careful positioning, as the LED bulbs are eye piercing in a dark room if shining directly into your face. Easy DIY wall mounting & removal using the screw mounts on the back plate or more simply it can just be placed on a shelf or other flat surface. Light pivot side grips are robust and offer a good range of positions. Unit rotates easily when fitted on wall.
If used outside & exposed to adverse weather conditions, ensure the battery cover is screwed tight as the silicone seal around the mating area sits barely above the level of the housing (or add a thin bead of extra sillicone yourself). During battery installation (4xAA) ensure the cover is replaced the correct way up, with the open ended Lug fitting situated above the on/off switch. It’s possible that some problems of water ingress reported on here, are a result of incorrect battery cover fitting. The motion sensor is not well calibrated for light sensitivity & often unnecessarily picks up movement in daylight, activating the light & negatively impacting battery life, would suggest either turning off in daylight or using rechargeable batteries. A few downsides & time will tell how long it lasts.
I bought two of these to put in sheds. I would give them 5 stars except for two things – 1, they are not as bright as I hoped and 2, the sensor cannot move separately (it would have suited me to point the light into the corner but have the sensor facing the entrance).
The motion sensor on the first light I received did not work but Trimming shop were very helpful and sent me another which is exactly what I wanted and works well except that the sensor picks up movement in daylight as well as dark. This fortunately I can live with although it could cost a lot in batteries to run. Overall the service from this company was very good.
Excellent for what it is – somewhat limited in light output but sufficient for what is expected of it.
This did work well – I clearly didn’t fix this properly as it fell off the wall – back plate still attached but I’m sure it was more operater error than product fault.
