Easy to set up, long lead for positioning, amazing capture of signal ( we are in the country and struggle to get a signal otherwise!) perfect for our little kitchen tv.
Very pleased with it.
I bought this when the Ariel I was using started to drop the signal, it took a while to find the right spot for the Ariel now it works without any problems . Easy to setup and use multiple mounting points and stood on end looks like a designer vase so no
I had a professional aerial installed outside 180 , only got 10 channels no itv , this aerial really surprised me 104 channels BBC good signals itv good signal signals all other BBC and its well worth the money
This has a really long cable which provides you with endless possibilities of where to position it in the room. Super easy to install and use. Great picture quality on the TV afterwards.
Only used couple of days but have more channels and signal strength is great. Didn’t have to bother moving the aerial around much at all. Could maybe get more channels if placed in a better position but already have enough for me.
I was surprised how well it works, just placed it on inside window sill, plugged in tune TV in minutes excellent channels to watch, as good as a main out door Ariel. I have tried many different types in the past with little success but this one
I am satisfied with the aerial I bought from amazo
No issue works as it should in poor reception area
This product fulfilled all the requirements. Over 100 channels and even some Arabic channels from the Internet like Aljazeera are there, just by choosing the Freeview channels. You have to choose channel 555 first to find more. And there are about 10 channels in HD.
Easy to set up, positioned high on window with provided sticky pad and bracket.
Pads did not stay in place for long so used alternative adhesive product and now staying attatched.
Extra long coaxial cable attached to aerial is easy to place high on window for best reception,.
115+ channels including freeview app recieved with stable reception in an area with church and steeple, college and apartment buildings.
Good quality picture on all channels.
Impressed this worked so good.
Well priced with discount at time of purchase.
I have got this aerial working fine to run my kitchen TV ; I have some tips on how to improve your chances of success
The first thing I tried was to retune the “kitchen TV” using the new aerial in the kitchen and it found 27 channels – no good!
We enjoy Judge Judy on CBS Reality and it was not found!
What you need to do is take your “kitchen TV” to your main TV location , in our case the lounge with a decent aerial in the loft , and tune the TV using your main aerial , preferably with a signal booster to get the max number of channels
After doing this we got about 130 channels loaded on the kitchen TV.
We then took the “kitchen TV” back to the kitchen and plugged the new aerial back in ; although the signal strength is still low the TV displayed CBS Reality without any problems!
We have watched Judge Judy using the new aerial now for about 2 hours in the kitchen without any breakup
Hope my tips work for you!
Best indoor aerial that I’ve had.
Good picture on TV. Was recommended to this brand.
good antenna you get most freeview channels with a few interference
Good enough product. Feels a bit flimsy but works well once positioned correctly. Ours is best on a windowsill avoiding any metalwork in the walls.
Had to try a few places in room to get reception. The best place I could find originally give me about 75% of Freeview channels but the next day it was down to 10 channels and even then kept losing signal on some of them. Now intend to just use it as signal booster for main Ariel
There was a sudden drop out in signal at my location for the bedroom TV and I firmly blame this on a local cell tower upgrade. The antenna I had was suddenly getting barely any channels around the same time so I opted for this item as it was cheap enough and had an amplifier and apparently a 4G filter. Well it worked and it worked very well placed on a window sill. Vastly superior to my ancient one for all item, pulling in a much stronger and cleaner signal. It doesn’t look very appealing and the cable is vey stiff although very thin. It feels very cheap. Would have been nice if the amplifier part could be disconnected to allow for an extension aerial cable therefore keeping the USB power close to the TV. There are two mounting options which is good (H/V). One thing I havn’t tested is it unplugged from the USB power and how it performs. I’ll update in a few months if I remember.
Very good quality aerial. Picks up all stations, I live 20 miles away from my nearest transmitter (Craigkelly). I bought this aerial to replace a 35 one for all aerial from Asda that only picked up the bbc channels and even they were breaking up, this aerial picks up all of the channels, including the 7 HD channels available with not breaking up at all just remember, don’t expect any miracles. Check the direction of your nearest transmitter and point the aerial in that direction. Otherwise you may not find any channels at all. The included sticky pad is useful for wall mounting without the screws. Overall very pleased with this purchase
I used the product for a tv in a bedroom that ive tried aerials before and could not get a signal so to get a perfect picture on every tv station was amaizing 10 out of 10
We live in a flat and do not have an outside aerial this aerial is ideal for us. It works well in our situation I would recommend you consider this atiel if you ate looking to purchase an indoor aerial.
The headline is this does what it says as an indoor aerial with booster, and if your TV has unused USB ports then it will boost the signal without needing a separate plug socket, which is great.
It should be noted that before you buy any indoor aerial you need to do your research – there are various free online resources which will tell you how far you are from the nearest transmitter, and which direction it is – but the easiest way to find out for most is to look at neighbours external roof aerials and see which way they’re facing.
If you have a window with a clear line of sight in that direction, or are using this in a mobile home or loft area or top floor of a flat, AND you’re not too far from the transmitter you’ll likely get good results.
But if you’re a long way from a transmitter, or in a basement or need to place this low down, behind a large concrete pillar, then it probably won’t work – but then nothing short of a proper large external aerial will, so don’t expect miracles!
If you’re somewhere in the middle like me (~13 miles from the transmitter, but the TV is the wrong side of the house) then you’ll have to experiment. Try putting it as high as possible in the room, or turning it round (horizontal / vertical as mentioned in the listing), move it away from other electrical items (including the TV!), attach it to a window if possible, and see what works best – literally just tune in the TV channels and then move it around and try it in different positions while watching TV to see if you can get a stable signal. You’ll also have to bear in mind that various factors like atmospheric pressure can mean that a stable signal at one time of day doesn’t mean it’ll always give a strong signal.
Good luck!
Easy to set up just plug into mains with USB and then the aerial into the back of the TV
Rescan TV and we managed to pick up all the channels.
It’s only for the spare room TV but does the job fine.
Got this indoor aerial as a temporary solution after our roof top aerial finally decided to give up.
It was very easy to install the cables – USB cable to a USB power source, aerial cable to TV.
It turned out to be more difficult to find the correct location to get reception. This is dependant on where your transmitter is, how weak/strong signal levels you have in your area and how your house is built.
You also might have some problems if your TV is located at ‘wrong’ side in your house or flat in relation to where your TV transmitter is located.
After some trial and errors, resorting to use a signal meter and our TV’s built in signal strength display, I eventually found the perfect location in our loft. Now we have better reception than we ever had with the old aerial.
Can only say – don’t give up even if it seems to not work at first. It is working well but only if it is positioned correctly.
It worked once I retuned my smart TV in the kitchen but not a patch on an outside aerial (ours needs replacing!) At this price it’s a good back up or for those that rent or don’t have the option of an outside aerial.
The seller sent me a replacement to try. This one worked partially but unf not where we could have it as would mean wire across the room causing eyesore or hazard. However this is prob just our house but the product does work
Unfortunately did work for us. Couldn’t tell if it was powered as no lights (despite checking as someone on prev review said usb didn’t power from the tv) tried usb in tv and in power socket still produced 0 channels returned for full refund back on the search for a decent indoor aerial
I have an old TV which I use on the campervan. I cleared all the channels and plugged in to see if it found them again. It did with no problems. It is worth mentioning this is just a digital aerial, so if you have a smart TV you will need WiFi to get things like Netflix, BBC iplayer ITV hub etc.
The unit was easy enough to install, the only hassle being the need to plug in to the TV’s USB port as well as the RF socket and finding a suitable position for it. Once installed, it has worked perfectly, receiving the same number of channels as the fixed aerial.
