A very neat charger that does what it says on the tin. Love the fact there are lots of charging options depending on your needs, from Mutale devices to spread the power for more slower (nighttime) charging to more focused for the individual device that needs a quick boost or running power. The size is compact for what it does and delivers, a bit heavy than I thought it would be but it’s not an issue when you don’t have to carry so many other charger. Highly recommended.
It’s well made and does the job. Pretty compact compared to most OEM chargers and the weight makes it feel sturdy. I hadn’t tested the power, but I have no doubt it can supply 65W.
Decided to buy a smaller charger for my macbook pro 14 so after looking at review after review decided to go for the Ugreen USB C Charger 65w, this works a treat, Charges my Macbook Pro as quick as the original charger but so much more convenient size for my bag, also benefit i no longer have to carry a charger for my phone or ipad.
One of, if not the only, 65W UK chargers I’ve seen that fold away. Brilliant for taking as a laptop/steam deck charger in a backpack. Does everything it says it will, and works as expected for charging all my devices.
The only downside to this charger is that it appears to split the power between USB ports even if there is nothing on the other end of the cable drawing any power, even stopping my phone from charging at 25W if the A port is also occupied – which is odd as there should still be 25W output from the C port.
Purchased it new on 25th June 23
As you can see the seamless seal is not seamless just been 12 days and I’ve looked after it.
All 4 side has this seal and it will come undone in due time…. also it creaks when you hold it firmly furthermore as you can also see the Ugreen cable does not connect fully when inserted, not a flush fit I’ve tried other cables its the same look.
Not keeping it don’t like the creaking sound it makes….. sorry Ugreen you should not rely on marketing and imagery only.
Prefect UK charger, the folding on the plug things makes it so much better than any competitor. It’s nice and small but fast at charging. Note, does not use the 30W turbo mode for the asus rog ally, however this might be an asus problem not the charger. Charges asus ally at 60W. Doesn’t get too hot.
I really like this charger. Compact size, rounded edges, folding pins and three ports make it a perfect travelling companion.
Gets a little warm, but to be expected.
Tested on a smartphone, Macbook Pro and Dell inspiron 14 laptop – works perfectly in all cases.
Note: for high power charging you’ll need an appropriately rated cable.
The foldable charger is an excellent design and very useful for when travelling (it would have been nice if it had the interchangeable heads for different countries).
However, the foldable design is excellent and really does help reduce the size in your bag and I would highly recommend.
I have used it with my S23 Ultra and it charges it at the full 45w, and have tested it with my work laptop that also charges absolutely fine with it (albeit not at the same time).
This 65w foldable charger is just as good as the 130w car charger and a welcome addition to any tech bag.
I would note that you need to buy a good quality cable as I tried to use my previous Anker USB C and was getting slow charge times. After trying the 100w Ugreen dual pack USB C cables (14 ish for a pair) then the issues were no longer present.
The UGREEN USB C Charger 65W Foldable solves two problems at once. It lets you ditch the original power brick and cables that shipped with your laptop, freeing up a lot of bag space, and the folding mains plug legs prevent it from damaging your laptop bag, or anything else in the bag. It’s a win-win. The build quality is excellent, and the mains plug extend/retract is very satisfying to use.
Compact and easier to carry than multiple chargers especially when travelling. Charges my iPad Pro 12.9″, iPhone Pro Max and Apple Watch from one socket ant the same time every bit as fast as do individual chargers.
Very firm in socket even with the addition of European plug adapter.
Only one compact charger to carry around is great.
Assuming this item is durable and will stand the test of time i couldn’t recommend more highly. Great product!
This 65w charger from UGREEN is my second of such from them. I got this one for portable use as the folding prongs makes it even more compact.
The only thing I would wish is that they were cheaper but I also do not mind paying for a quality product like this
Bought to save on sockets because can connect three devices at the same time. One USB-C goes to my Apple iPhone MagSafe adaptor, second to a USB-C to lightning cable and the third USB-A port goes to an Android phone with MicroUSB charging socket.
All three ports work at same time (shares power).
Only thing of note is when you connect an additional device charging stops briefly – presumably while it works out what to do.
Very handy, reliable (PD certified), can be used as only charger with several devices, I use it with my computer, ipad, phone and watch. As has two USB C connections and one USB A, it can be charge several devices simultaneously. The only charger I have to take with me when I travel (plug adapters needed).
Wanted a smaller charger for my MacBook Pro, iPhone and other devices when away. This 65w charger fitted the bill, like the folding nature of the pins. When it arrived and I opened it I was very surprised as it is even smaller in hand than I thought, begs the question why Apple chargers are so big. Very pleased with this and would recommend to anyone looking for a second charger or more compact travel charger.
I bought this to replace one of Ugreen’s UK-plug-style 65W dual USB-C GaN chargers which is still working fine but has been repurposed.
This 3-port unit has a similar style to the previous one but has an extra USB-A output. Due to the clever folding mains plug pins its packed dimensions are almost identical to the previous one. Like the previous one it can run & charge my HP laptop while simultaneously powering my Samsung smartphone but it can also power my partner’s Samsung 7″ tablet from the third port at the same time without getting more than warm.
One caveat, which is true of many other multi-port PD/Fast-Charge PSUs & power banks is that upon device connection to one of the ports, all the other ports lose power momentarily while it reconfigures the power distribution among them. This is fine for laptops, tablets and phones but I was hoping to use it to power my GL.iNet portable router when on the go. Having to wait while it reboots when connecting other devices is a little inconvenient.
if you put a second usb c cable even if its not in use charging drops to 17W
I like this when travelling, I charge my phone, watch and spare USBC for anything else
Charging is fast and can easily charge a laptop with USB C and A ports. Good purchase if looking for a compact travel charger.
The USBC and USBA port are all internally slightly rotated vs the plastic surround and any and all USB cables I have, have conductor protruding from the ports. This is a lot lower quality than Im used to on similar priced products from other companies. The portability with fold out design is perhaps worth this compromise, as it is for me, if youre not planning to always use this charger constantly.
Using an M1 Apple Macbook Pro magnetic usbc charge cable also only has the laptop powered from the wall but not charging the battery, this means its serving less than 65W of power with this cable. I have an Anker 120W charger that does out out the full spec down that cable, so if thats your primary use case it powers the laptop fine, but wont charge and power at the same time. This is the same with a 140W USBC PD cable too. So something prevents this really giving out 65W on one port.
I travel extensively and the folding design and compact shape mean it fits snugly in to my laptop bag. With a PD cable for my iPhone it charges super fast. Just what I needed.
An excellent charger, very fast, charges my MacBook Pro quickly. Folding prongs an added bonus. I usually buy UGreen or Anker battery products as the market is flooded with cheap rubbish that is frankly dangerous. This is built to the usual high standards of uGreen chargers I already have. Recommended.
The Mac chargers can be quite chunky and an odd shape, which means they don’t always fit into plugs built into desks or in the floor. This works well in all situations and is smaller to carry around. I’ve charged a couple of devices concurrently and all seems to work well.
The product is a UGREEN USB-C charger that is foldable and comes with a Nexode GaN 3-port charger plug. It charges M1 MacBook and iPhone simultaneously, making it perfect for travelers. The charger has a full-size USB slot and stores away easily for transportation.
Pros:
Dual charging capability: The charger can charge M1 MacBook and iPhone simultaneously, which is a significant plus for users who need to charge multiple devices.
Perfect travel size: The charger’s size is perfect for travel, making it easy to carry around.
Full-size USB slot: The charger has a full-size USB slot, which is a nice addition for users who need to charge other devices.
Easy storage: The charger stores away easily, making it convenient for users who need to take it with them on the go.
Cons:
None: There are no downsides to report for this product, except that it can get a bit warm.
Overall, this UGREEN USB-C charger is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a charger that can charge multiple devices simultaneously. The charger’s size is perfect for travel, and it comes with a full-size USB slot, which is a nice addition. The charger also stores away easily, making it convenient for users who need to take it with them on the go. There are no downsides to report, except that the charger can get a bit warm, which is a minor issue.
So Far, it’s been good – it works well and charges everything I’ve used it with.
The only tiny grip is the mechanism for the folding out of the UK plag does not feel as robust as say an Apple one – just gives me a slight worry about longevity – but no an issue so far
I like UGreen products and have a different design without the fold that is sold as a rock
The folding prongs are a good feature for something that gets thrown into my travel bag. More important is that the charger delivers enough juice to run my Dell XPS 13. And charge my phone at the same time.
I have other multi-output chargers but this is the most compact, which is an achievement when it’s also the only one that is able to charge my laptop and phone at the same time.
The build quality feels good, it has a bit of weight to it and feels solid. When I’ve been using the charger it hasn’t got particularly hot, which is also a good sign that it is good quality.
Not appropriate for apple devices. USB C ports plugged into the macbook air, states power source adapter but battery not charging and USB A doesn’t charge macbook or ipad. I do put it down to apple and not ugreen. Beside those it works as expected, small size great for travel.
