I did find it struggled with very in deep dirt, but was great for lightweight cleaning. Gives an al around good clean and does get to the places hard to reach with a regular brush or for delicate items that need a gentle touch. A good price for what it can do, although the tray is fairly small and doesn’t hold larger items. Can’t fault that it works as expected.
Bought this for cleaning my glasses as they are constantly dirty. I cleaned them brought them up brilliant. I started to clean my watches didn’t thing they were to grubby. But they look brilliant in the cleaner for three minutes .
I’ve been wanting to try an ultrasonic cleaner for a while, so was pleased to give this a go. You get a decent sized stainless steel lined base, in which you out your items on the trays also provided. According to the instructions, you should never put the items to be cleaned directly onto the stainless steel bottom, so always used the plastic trays provided.
It’s very simple to use, but do add a few drops of whichever washing up liquid you have to hand, as it doesn’t do much with water in its own. You can also add jewellery cleaner too, though not sure if it would clean any differently, but could be worth a try if you’re cleaning high end jewellery. Useful to note that you can’t clean paste jewellery in this cleaner, as it may dissolve any glue!
Primarily I’ve used this for cleaning eye glasses, and it does an excellent job on those. I also tried some silver jewellery that was tarnished, and that needed tow goes (6 mins in total) for the nest cleaning effect. I’m sure I’ll find lots of items to clean in this ultrasonic cleaning bath. I do think that 24.99 is a tad steep though price wise. You’ll need to use it to clean allot of items to get a return in the investment. For me I think it should definitely be more like the under 20 mark, but does work, so four stars from me.
The Gidochi Ultrasonic Cleaner is a powerful and effective tool for cleaning a variety of items including jewelry, dentures, glasses, watches, and more. With a 48KHZ ultrasonic frequency and 16W power output, this cleaner delivers deep and thorough cleaning with ease.
The 330ML stainless steel tank can hold multiple items at once, and the low noise level ensures a quiet and peaceful cleaning experience. The cleaner is also easy to operate with simple controls and a digital display.
One of the standout features of this ultrasonic cleaner is its versatility. It can clean a wide range of items, from delicate jewelry to larger items like metal coins. Plus, its compact size makes it easy to store and use in any location.
Overall, the Gidochi Ultrasonic Cleaner is a great investment for anyone looking to keep their items clean and in top condition. Its powerful performance, ease of use, and versatility make it a must-have for anyone who values cleanliness and quality.
Not as powerful as I thought it would be. I added some fairly mucky jewellery for the first use and it didn’t seem to remove very much dirt. Maybe it wasn’t as dirty as I thought!
This jewelry cleaner works very well, cleans glasses and jewelry quickly and easily. It works best if you add a little bit of detergent, especially when it comes to rings and stones. It makes them shine, and seems to clean every nook and cranny.
It is easy to use, and has a decent capacity. You can fit several pieces in it at once, and it comes with little containers for the smaller items — like earrings.
This ultrasonic cleaner comes in a cardboard box and inside you’ll find the cleaner, power supply, 2x trays, and an instruction leaflet.
The ultrasonic cleaner works by gently vibrating the water inside which helps remove dirt and cleans items in hard-to-reach areas. It is very gentle and is one of the best methods for cleaning delicate items.
The cleaner is a little bit heavier than expected given its size. It is powered by the included power supply with the port being at the rear of the cleaner but I find it quite heard to insert. It needs a lot of force to make it seat correctly, more than I feel comfortable doing so I won’t be pulling it out again and I’ll leave it in. It may loosen up in time, but it needs a lot of force to go in so I’m doubtful. It has four rubber feet on the bottom to stop it sliding on smooth surfaces. There is a power button on the front face of the cleaner and it is a capacitive button so you only need to gently touch it, and the button will activate. The button is very sensitive and I’ve turned the cleaner on a couple of times just by brushing past the button.
I use regular tap water and filled the cleaner up to the max mark. I found an old key I had lying around which really needs throwing away but would be good for the test as it has some dirt in various crevices on it. After turning the cleaner on, there is a fast-clicking noise, and you can see tiny ripples in the water which are made in sync with the clicking. The clicking is reasonably loud but not too loud that it’s annoying. I could see little bubbles forming on the keys surface while it was cleaning. The cleaner automatically turns off after three minutes and there is no way to change this timer so if you require more cleaning, simply press the power button again for another three minutes. I couldn’t tell much difference in the cleanliness of the key so I put it in again for another cycle but added a couple of drops of dish soap. This gave better results and I could then see a clear difference in how much cleaner the key was so I recommend a little bit of soap to add in the cleaning.
I’ve always had my eye on an ultrasonic cleaner and this has shown me that it can give good cleaning results, but with a very gentle cleaning method, so is perfect for delicate items.
I bought this ultrasonic cleaner to clean my jewelry, glasses, and dentures. It is very easy to use and works well. It has a 330ml stainless steel tank that can fit various items. It has a 48KHZ ultrasonic frequency that can remove dirt and stains without damaging the items. It has a low noise level and a 5-minute timer that automatically shuts off. It also comes with a basket and a watch holder to keep the items in place. The cleaner is compact and lightweight, so I can store it or carry it around. It is also energy-saving and safe to use. I am very satisfied with this product and would recommend it to anyone who needs a convenient and effective
excellent vice for cleaning all those things that are fiddly to clean
Glasses, Teeth, jewellery, coins, teaspoons etc
Heats up super quick and has your nik naks sparkling in no time
a very handy good quality device
great ease of use and a reasonable pricetag
A perfectly sized cleaner for everyday household use. It may be small for some uses, but for the vast majority of household needs it is more than sufficient.
One thing I really like about it compared to others I have seen is that the power cord can be unplugged. This makes it easy to empty the tank without having to carry the cleaner around with a long cord attached to it.
It is very easy to use and clean after use. It is quite effective.
This comes with a power supply, 2 trays and instructions.
Operation is very simple, you just put your item in, fill with water and turn it on. When on it is fairly noisey but each cycle only lasts about 3 minutes so it isn’t a problem.
So far I’ve used it to clean my glasses and watch strap. My glasses only just fit in it and some common sense on placement is needed so things don’t rub or get scratched. My glasses came out very clean with lots of dirty bits in the water, it got all the nasty bits out of the creaveses. My watch strap was cleaner but much of the dirt was loosened but not removed, cleaning a second time helped.
I understand that special cleaning liquid is available for these but I found that a couple of drops of washing up liquid helped.
A good solution to cleaning hard to clean items.
I have never used one of these before so was really keen to give it a go. It is very simple to use. Just add water and some cleaning solution such as washing up liquid. I have read somewhere that you can buy special solution for these machines so I am going to seek it out. But the washing up liquid seemed to work ok.
I tried my glasses first as I often get make up around the nose bridge and it cleaned them really well in just 3 mins. Next I put some diamond jewellery in there and my Pandora charms. It wasn’t too bad. I feel my ring had a slight improvement but not great which is why I am keen to try the cleaning solution with it.
I think it has potential and will report back if there is a big improvement with the solution. Oh and I love how it is ‘forbidden’ to fill it up straight from the tap. That made me chuckle!!
I like this ultrasonic cleaner. It is made for cleaning jewellery and glasses, I am using it for cleaning my nightguard.
There is build up now and again and this ultrasonic cleaner is dealing with it brilliantly.
i am very happy with this product and I gladly recommend it to you.
Nice sized just right for home use, I have tried it with my gold necklace, silver rings, old coins and my glasses, it made beautiful improvements, add a drop of dishwashing liquid to get better result!
Used this to clean my diamond earrings. Cleaned them quite well but I found the machine quite loud. Not sure if this is the norm as it was my first time using this type of equipment. I love how compact this is and the simple design is nice touch. Good to have if you want to deep cleanse your jewelry.
The ring I used to test this sonic cleaner possibly wasn’t the best test because it wasn’t very dirty but I do feel the diamonds had extra sparkle afterwards.
Very easy to set up and use with a transformer power supply and simple power button that sets of a timed process.
Next test will be a mixed bag of vintage costume jewelry.
It’s good that there’s nothing at all to cause damage to settings or harm the jewelry in any way.
Although you can also clean your glasses, they’d need to be relatively small frames to fit into the water bath.
I have lots of jewellery that I need to clean so thought I would give this a try.
Using just water I didn’t see much of a difference but once I added a little cleaning solution they soon came out sparkling again.
Very easy to use and very quiet.
Recommend.
I love this little unit!
It is simple to use, just put some warm soapy water in the bath place your items to be cleaned onto the plastic trays and press the on button and in three minutes your items will be clean!
I have just placed some coins in and as you can see from the pictures they are amazingly clean… in just three minutes. No need to rub or scrub them afterwards either.
I have done my glasses and some jewellery and they all come up sparkling.
Well worth the investment.
Works well to loosen grime stuck in tight, hard to reach places. My glasses came out much cleaner around the edges of the lenses and the nose supports, which are usually quite difficult to properly clean out. Likewise, some antique gold diamond rings came out absolutely sparkling clean.
Worth nothing though, not everything will come out sparkling clean. My simpler pocket knives saw annoying dirt removed from the screwheads and liners, but my Swiss Army Knife had a much worse coating of grime inside, and sadly needed full disassembly to clean properly.
Overall though, really useful tool to have around, and this one is really easy to use and worked very well.
What a fanatic gadget! It’s so simple to use and you can literally see the results happening before your eyes.
The cleaner is big enough for glasses and more than big enough for any jewellery or smaller nicknacks you have around the house.
All you need is water (and a drop of washing up liquid if you want) and the machine does all the rest and within 3 minutes the item is clean.
I was shocked at just how much dirt came off mine and my husbands ‘clean’ glasses! It got the grime out from within the frames themselves! I had no idea just how dirty they got and will be using the ultrasonic cleaner regularly with them from now on.
It’s also perfect for jewellery and comes with a small stand and ring holder to make it easier to clean smaller objects.
It’s simple enough to clean after use as well, just pull the plug out and give it rinse and wipe around.
Overall I’m really happy with this item and would definitely recommend it!
This ultrasonic cleaner is absolutely brilliant. I have been using one of these for years to clean out my vaping equipment as they do a fantastic job of cleaning in the places that are hard to reach.
The problem I have with ultrasonic cleaners is that they always have the power cable attached. Why?? It means you always have to unplug it from the socket and take the whole thing with you, cable dragging behind, to the sink to empty it or fill it with water. You then have to take the plug that was just near a sink of splashing water and plug it in.
Finally someone with a bit of common sense designed one that has a detachable cable. This alone makes it worth 8 stars to me. The device itself is a perfect size too, not too wide and not too deep which makes it so much easier to fill under the tap. It is big enough to handle a pair of glasses which means it can also handle most jewellery fine such as rings, necklaces etc, or in my case my vaping equipment.
It looks very stylish unlike a lot of others that don’t seem to ever update their design. This is a classy looking white with a nice blue ring light on the front. It’s lightweight and isn’t heavy even when filled with water.
It is quite loud but this is common for ultrasonic cleaners. This is definitely on the louder side though. The clear lid allows you to see it working as you can see things like necklace chains moving around as the little invisible bubbles do their work. You can also buy liquids for these that contain a very mild abrasive to do an even better job of cleaning which I would recommend if you are cleaning jewellery.
There are no options for timers as far as I could see. It turns itself on when you plug it in and will run for about 3 minutes until it turns itself off. You can turn it back on again if needed though.
Overall this is a fantastic ultrasonic cleaner and unless you’re in a commercial environment where you need to clean loads of items frequently, this is perfect for the average user. I would give it 6 stars if I could.
