Usage Notice
Please note: The Saddle Valve mains water connection fitting is only suitable for use on standard copper mains water pipe.
If you have plastic piping which is common in newer build houses then you will require a different type of fitting such as the John Guest ASV3 fitting which is suitable for use on 15mm plastic pipe. This can be found by putting the code B01ATP2WZQ into the search bar above or at a local plumbers merchant.
DO NOT install where water hammer conditions may occur. If water hammer conditions do exist you MUST install a water hammer arrester. If water pressure exceeds 80 psi (5.5 Bar / 552 kPa), you MUST install a pressure limiting valve. DO NOT install on a hot water supply. Use in cold water applications only.
Water may appear grey / cloudy upon first installation. Ensure that water is flushed through the filter for ~5 minutes to clear any loose particles and carbon fines.
Filter does not remove minerals beneficial to health.
The filter does not remove limescale / hardness causing minerals such as Calcium & Magnesium.

IMPORTANT: Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system. Systems certified for cyst reduction may be used on disinfected waters that may contain filterable cysts. The contaminants or other substances removed or reduced by this water filter are not necessarily in all users water.
PLEASE NOTE: Whilst this kit can be installed by a DIY proficient person – we will always encourage that you employ the services of a qualified plumber to prevent any potential leaks or water damage related issues.

Tap seems to work well, it came with, two small filter brackets rather than one long
bracket with two clips on it as shown in the picture. Also the red tubing was only half as long as stated,
I contacted the seller who sent out the appropriate parts, it’s a shame they didn’t send out the right parts originally,.
The customer services was very good and responsive and solve the problem for me.
he plastic tap looks ok but i changed mine for a steel one

Bought this to fit on our kitchen sink. The faucet was easy to fit, and the filtration fits snuggly underneath, without taking up a lot of room. Purchased because our water is disgusting, tastes full of lime. This item filters the water so that its perfect for drinking, and filling your kettle. No more horrible lime tastes.
I used to use Brita jugs and whilst they are great i was fed up of constantly having to fill them up. This unit is so easy to install and gives great tasting water and no constant refills.
Cut a hole in your worktop, stick the tap in, screw the nut on. (Twist the tap base to tighten) or use a spanner. Plug the blue tube in, plug the filter in, plug the red tube in. Clip the red tube to your cold water pipe and twist TADA!! so easy, it makes the Salty Welsh water taste like tap wate
Installed this myself which was straight forward enough but might be difficult for some. Instructions are poor but after looking at whats in the box it is simple enough.
Quality of the water is much better but the flow is slow which again is acceptable.

Tips : Super important to use that valve – you want it before the filter so you can shut this off when you need to change the filter. Also my instructions said the piercer needs to do 1 full rotation in but realistically it takes 3 full rotations to get in. Just count it out yourself before you put it on a pipe.
Great kit 110% recommend this kit if Yaound need to filter your tap water , we could not use our tap water directly for drinking due to the taste but after fitting this kit we are able to have drinking water on tap , we didn’t use the tap that is part of the it as we fitted a new Kitchen tap with a water filter feature.
Great kit and can’t believe we didn’t fit this years ago.
It is a tap with a small bore pipe and filter cartridge. The kit comes with a “hot tap” valve that is actually capable of being fitted to a pressurised line.
The kit had some clips missing that the supplier sent immediately. The standard washers are for a worktop fit alongside the sink. We wanted to fit the tap to the corner of the sink. The supplier provided smaller washers for this fit, free of charge.
The water still have taste of chlorine, easy to install, you will need to have extra tools.
I’m waiting to see how long I will use until will broke, the tap give me the sensation of China made of.
