I’ve been using this for a few winters and does seem to do the job – I chose this product to use UniBond Aero so that I don’t end up with many plastic containers to dispose. I can buy 2 packs of refill at a local supermarket for a comparable price but this 4 pack is a greater value, espeically when I need more during the peak condesnation time (Jan-Mar).
I have been using them for years and very happy with the quality. I was always buying them from Wilkinson before the Wilko stores closed. First time, I bought them online and two of them were broken into pieces. Looks like they were not wrapped properly. Bit disappointed.
Bought these for our garden bar in the winter as it can get a little damp with little usage over the colder periods.
These refills are good quality and last a fair while. They work well in cleansing the air and it smells nice too
Would buy again and do recommend them
Not so much of a real lavender smell, it really does smell like you’ve walked into a clean public toilet. It’s not a particularly bad smell and would be fine in a bathroom but I’d definitely recommend the original tabs for anywhere else in the house.
As for the actual use they’re great, I’ve had disposable dehumidifiers on my window sills for months and they’ve barely done anything but these make the condensation go from it looking like I’ve thrown a bucket of water on the windows to just being a couple of drips
Very good and kept the wall dry and mold at bay. The smell started very strong and then completely disappeared after two days or so. I wish it had a moderate smell and could last a little longer!
My car is quite old so gets condensation really quickly in damp weather. Although I could remove the water the smell always lingers. These have absolutely solved that issue. I get about 3 months out of a single cartridge (weather dependent!) and it totally neutralised the smell. I can’t say they’re overly lavender-y but that might be because of where I use them. I was half expecting a really chemically smell like cheaper air fresheners but these are pleasantly mild!
Very quick delivery- I chose free delivery and it arrived the next day. Unfortunately it was the wrong product- I ordered the compact model but I received the standard one which was cheaper. I decided to keep it as I couldn’t be bothered with the hassle of returning it. Seems to be working well, fair bit of liquid in the container already.
I bought this after experiencing a lot of condensation in my kitchen. It’s a sleek, smart design and worked well to absorb the moisture. Highly recommended if you want something compact and discree
This product has drastically reduced damp in my home. The containers are not unattractive, easy to set up & easy to empty. They have seriously made a difference this winter, no more wiping window ledges every morning so also labour saving. An inexpensive way to control damp in the home.
Bought this for bathroom and it does collect the moisture. However, the plastic made is less than easy to start as it doesn’t quite align, so harder to put in with bit of overhang. For small spaces I think compact would be better and unable to comment on ‘scented’ refills as using neutral 1 that came with. Saves chukcing out the cheap 1 ones you get from stores such as QD etc. but each to their own.
It’s slightly bigger than you would think, but it has worked very well in our bathroom. We have a badly ventilated bathroom which had gotten damp. After a week of using the dehumidifier the walls were noticeably less damp and the product itself had a1/2 inch of blue water in.
Does the job well.
I’ve got a big window with problems of green mould around it and I live close to a lake so very high humidity for 8 month per year, with incredible peaks when rains more than one day in a row and when gets colder than 8 degrees. The dehumidifier works very well, I have it for two weeks and no more mould or if it is coming back, at a much slower pace than before. The slightly disappointing part is that the refill doesn’t last as much as they state. After two weeks the refill is almost gone, I guess it will last for another 7/10 days, so I calculated that for the months in which I get condensation that produces the mould, I’ll have to buy around 10 refills per year, that comes at around 28 pounds given the actual Amazon prices. Still worth it for me, getting rid of the mould and buying from a reputable brand.
Bought this for my son’s room and so far in last 3 days, its doing the job alright. It has managed to collect some moisture from the air already. Good value for money and enough for a medium sized room.
These are really clever little gadgets to dot around the house I discovered these by accident and glad I did . At first use I thought they don’t perform well because the condensation was still out of control but as the days went on I noticed the condensation clearing away and is now even gone . I guess you have to give these a chance to work . I was about to buy more but unfortunately the price had risen suddenly.
The window alcove behind a thick curtain in our bedroom has always accumulated mould as the outside wall is cold. I bought one of these kits in early July and so far (early Sept) no mould has returned. I’ve gone through two tabs in that time though, so the cost will add up. But overall the benefit for not having to spray bleach around near curtains or carpet is a definite win.
Been using this range in bathroom for a couple of years now, some scents stronger than others but they do the job intended to do. Good value from amazon this month, easy to use, pop in and wait. Water goes blue in tank and you empty whenever you want.
We have several of these UniBond AERO 360 Moisture Absorbers around the house. As they do not need to run on electricity. There’s an tab that you place inside and moisture turns into a blue liquid, once the tab is finished it’s time to change for a new one.
I did find the newer models of this moisture absorber that plastic seems to be cheaper and parts broke. Amazon was wonderful with replacements.
This genuinely surprised me in the difference it makes. We have a bathroom with no window that was smelling damp and the moisture would just sit in there. I popped this in there and it genuinely did make a difference within 12 hours as it says! It’s collected so much water already so am anticipating an increased rate of use for the refills, but it’s removing the moisture from the air successfully and that’s what matters most!
I was getting alot of condensation in winter and was recommended to use these. It’s surprising how much water they absorbe in just a day or two. I do still get condenation but nowhere near as much. Will definitely continue to use
We bought these to go in our storage container to absorb any moisture in the air. I was surprised to see after 2 days there was already water in the reservoir. Amazon was the cheapest place to buy these by far.
Used to reduce condensation in boat cabin over winter. Seems to work very effectively at absorbing moisture which accumulates in the base of the unit. The unit has be checked from time to time to empty the base and insert new absorber blocks. Ours used 3 of these over 4 months, removing about 1.5 – 2 litres of water from the air in the cabin.
Repeat purchase. Have these dotted around an old house. Don’t know if they actually make a big difference, but they do seem to absorb a lot of moisture. Fingers crossed.
Have been using these for years, and I have never had a problem with them. The only thing is that they are a bit expensive, and it seems no matter where you get them from the price is usually the same, they never seem to discount.them.
Fiddly to put it all together, and the base didn’t seem to fit, took it to bits and started again and all fits well.. feels a little flimsy but does the job. Got this for 8.99 wouldn’t have wanted to have paid more for it. Don’t know how long it will last. I was using the disposable ones which seem to last a good 3 months. Be good to compare. Refills look a bit pricy but not and issue. This is quite a large unit . I have it in the bathroom so I expect to go through more than average refills.
I have only been using this item for a few days. Put it in an understairs cupboard which always had a musty smell and was always damp. The smell has now gone completely and the liquid in the bottom of the container shows how much water it is absorbing. Recommend this produc
I got this for a cold and damp extension at the back of my house where I keep the tumble dryer. The room is unheated and runs with condensation in winter, grows mould and has peeling paint.
The dehumidifier comes with a doughnut shaped water absorbent agent which is supposed to fit in the plastic container in a specific way. Mine arrived broken in half, but I put the bits in anyway and hoped for the best. It is a cheap option, small enough to stand anywhere, easy to use and I can get the refills easily.
I recently purchased the UniBond AERO 360 Moisture Absorber Neutral Refill Tab for my home in the UK, and it has been a game-changer! I primarily used this product to tackle the issue of excess moisture in my living space, and I’m thrilled with the results.
What I love most about the UniBond AERO 360 Moisture Absorber is its effectiveness. It efficiently absorbs moisture, preventing mold, dampness, and musty odors from taking over my home. I noticed a significant improvement in air quality, and my rooms feel fresher and more comfortable than ever before.
Another aspect I appreciate is the refill tabs. They are incredibly easy to use and install. Plus, the neutral fragrance ensures that there are no overpowering scents, maintaining a pleasant and natural atmosphere in my living space.
However, one thing I found slightly inconvenient is the size of the unit. It can be a bit bulky, taking up valuable space in smaller areas. Nonetheless, considering the excellent results it delivers, this minor drawback is easily outweighed.
In conclusion, the UniBond AERO 360 Moisture Absorber Neutral Refill Tab has proven to be an essential product for maintaining a fresh and dry environment in my UK home. Its impressive moisture-absorbing capabilities, easy-to-use refill tabs, and neutral fragrance make it a worthy investment. Say goodbye to dampness and hello to a comfortable living space with this moisture absorber!
