Purchased this for my little curly girl. I was a bit unsure how good it would be, and nervous it would not fit my old hairdryer.. Well it fits perfectly. The diffuser head has an adjustable hole that fits on any size hairdryer end, and it makes for perfect curls! So glad I purchased! Highly recommended!
It really is universal. I have two separate hairdryers in our home and it fits both . Good results, not too heavy . Only used it twice so far , hope it lasts !
I bought this to help with my wavy and curly hair have a bit less frizz and more shape. I have only tried it once but I would assume if it fits although it is a bit big.
I bought this to attach to a normal babyliss hair drying and it works so well. It stays in place and doesn’t jiggle around and does a perfect job. Good produc
If never used a diffuse before, it changes how you hold and use your hairdryer. This one has an adjustable opening and is very secure, so you can use with comfort and confidence.
I would like to be able to print a label and take it to my local post office. The printer free option list post offices some distance from me. And not the ones on my doorstep. I would also like to give it to someone to drop off for me with a printed label. Everytime I have to go through huge palaver phoning amazon to return anything now. And am told that it hasn’t changed! It has. Please reinstate the printing label optio
Pros: impressively universal. Fits my hairdryer and a friend’s hairdryer very well. Clips in easily and quickly to the dryer. Produced some lovely curls in my hair.
Cons: Seemed to take forever to dry. I’m not used to using a diffuser (this is my first) and it seemed to take an age to dry compared to blow drying straight. Not sure if this is just the nature of diffusers or if it’s this one in particular. It’s also bulky to travel with.
I like this product as it fits easily to the hairdryer I already had and allows me to dry my curly girls’ hair. I haven’t tried travelling with it but if you detach from the hairdryer it should pack easily. It allows the hair to dry more slowly than without the attachment.
I might even buy another just in case!!! I bought this for the gym to go over their hair dryer but I have to say the design of this is much better than my standard one. I think the curl is better as your hair goes into it rather than the spikes coming out if that makes sense! Also this fitted one of those silly little travel hair dryers you get in a hotel on the wall and also worked perfectly! I don’t write reviews much but this is a winner for me!
Fits my hairdryer well. Haven’t had any burning issues that others have had. It’s really big, bigger than I thought, but that’s not a bad thing. Dries my hair faster.
Bought as a Christmas gift for my husband whose dense curls haven’t been cut in a year. Before wrapping it up I checked it fitted on the end of my Babyliss hairdryer, which it does without scratching it. We watched some online tutorials about how to us the attachment and while it’s a little awkward for shorter hair, it does dry the curls without flattening them. Pleased with this! It is quite big, though; maybe too big for taking on holidays!
I really enjoyed using this. It gave a fantastic curl and worked really well gripping the end of the hairdryer – however- like in some other reviews I think it actually caused my hairdryer to over heat. On about the tenth time of using it (and not after a long period) it caused my hairdryer to glow red and burn out internally. I have had my hairdryer for some time and suspect this was not just old age. I have stopped using this as new hairdryer came with its own diffuser (which is not as good but don’t want to risk blowing up another hairdryer).
I have fine hair that is naturally wavy, but my hair takes forever to dry so most mornings I end up just using the hairdryer which blasts all the waves out of my hair.
First impressions, the diffuser attachment is very light and easy to fit onto the hairdryer. But the first few times I used it, my hair turned out a frizzy mess! This is because my hairdryer is powerful even on the lowest setting, so when I was trying to place my hair into the attachment, the hair would just fly out everywhere. It did dry quickly but I still had to go back in with straighteners to fix the waves.
However! I’ve since figured out that if I keep the hairdryer off whilst putting my hair into the attachment, then turn it on once it’s against my head, my hair gets dried without it flying away. This was a revelation to me and now I can dry my hair quickly and still keep my waves intact! Just a tip for those with fine hair like me who think this won’t work for them 🙂
I bought this on a whim as it was pretty cheap and now it’s on of those ‘why did I never try this before?’ products. I have naturally curly hair and have always just let it air dry. The older I get, the less it seems to naturally coil like it used to and it can often be a bit flat, especially at the top.
I found it really comes back to life using this diffuser, with corkscrew curls once more right from the scalp down – I really did not know what I was missing. (I should add, this is even with lockdown hair which hasn’t been cut in 6 months, which also makes it droop.)
The diffuser itself is nice and light and much bigger than I’d expected, from those I’ve seen coming with driers. My hairdryer is really narrow at the end but this fits perfectly and it stays on really tightly. The twist mechanism to attach it looks better than those with elastic bands. Now, I am awful at doing hair and tend to lose interest in a few minutes so can’t be bothered with sectioning and clipping. I was worried I’d need some sort of technique to use this properly but I literally just tipped my head on the side and cupped my hair into the bowl and let it do the rest.
All in all, an essential product for curly hair which I didn’t know I needed!
I used to have very curly hair, but then i started using the straightener a lot. When I stopped, my curls weren’t as beautiful as they used to be.
Then last year i decided to go, from very dark brown hair, to blonde, and so I went through a process of bleaching my hair three times which ruined it and caused it to lose its shape.
When I moved to England, I didn’t take my diffuser with me, so I was always wearing my hair straight, for the past seven months.
When I dyed my hair back to brown , i thought I saw some curls forming one day when I let my hair dry on its own, but then it just got frizzy.
I bought this hoping it would just restore some waves, but I had definitely underestimated it!
The curls came back, more beautiful than ever!
I have medium length hair, and it dried it quite fast. Being cone-shaped inside allows to fit a lot of hair in it, and it blows the air also from the sides, not just from the bottom, like most diffusers do.
The result (at least in my case) is very light, natural curls.
The diffuser might overheat a bit, but just set the heat on medium, and it’s fine.
I haven’t found it as heavy as other reviews have stated.
