Wow this stuff should be called miracle, because that’s what it did, fantastic job at removing ground in dirt on heavy traffic area, i left it for 1 hour, so pleased with result, have already recommended to my son, who is buying some right now xx

I rented an apartment recently and wanted to clean the carpet floor before moving in. Living on the top floor so renting a rug cleaner is really difficult for me. I randomly saw this powder somewhere on Amazon and thought “let’s give it a try”. At first the room is full of a moldy smell. I just followed the instruction, let the powder sit on the carpet for 20 mins. and brush it, then vacuum it up. The carpet is clean and the room is full of a good scent. If you don’t want to buy or rent a rug cleaner, you should try this out.

I used this in my front room to deal with dog odour.
It was easy to shake and cover the whole area.
It’s slightly moist as you rub into carpet. I found using figure of 8 movements did the best in making sure it was even throughout. After 20 minutes vacuumed. No more odour and the carpet looks brighter.
Only negative is that it has a very strong scent when you are low and rubbing it into carpet. I would suggest to keep windows open.

Got most of my stains out but still did leave some and had to buy a carpet cleaner instead, made my carpet look a lot better and smells amazing. I wouldn’t buy for stubborn stains

I have a 3 month puppy so until she is completely house trained the P’s are inevitable. I have tried loads of spray cleaners to get rid of the stain but they didnt work and the stain s just spread. All you need to do is make sure the stain is dry. Sprinkle a small amount of powder over the stain and brush in. Leave for 20 mins and then vac out. hey presto, the stain is totally gone. . You cant even tell there was a stain there. This is simply the best and I highly recommend this. You wont regret it. Buy some NOW !!

Hasn’t removed stains as effectively as I thought. I’ve used this in the past and found it very good. I’m guessing there have been some changes in the product. I won’t buy it agai

I’ve owned a rugdoctor for years, and it’s been really good with the exception of my stairs! I bought this after using the carpet spray for big stains but I found myself using a full bottle per room. After using my usual method on the stairs, I wasn’t really happy with the results, so bought this. After doing the first 2 stairs which were all I thought needed done, the contrast in the steps meant I ended up having to do the full stairs. I then used it in multiple high traffic areas in the house and all came up fantastic. Will be doing all the carpets with this at the weekend. Considering I regularly wash my carpets with a carpet cleaner I was shocked to see the difference with this product!

This product is absolutely amazing! I was a bit skeptical due to the negative reviews but I went for it and I’m so glad I did! I’ve had my carpet for 4 and a half years and I’ve got two small children who drop drinks and walk food into my carpet, so you can imagine the stains! I got to work and scrubbed in the powder for 20 minutes and then hoovered it up, I am blown away at how nice my carpets look! (The large dark grey area is just lighting and shadows) my carpet looks brand new in person. I can’t wait to use this in other rooms.

Easy to use, although I found resealing the bag slightly awkward. Brought the carpet up better than I thought it would. I have used other products which have not worked, but this one does.

Wondered why had to use more bags of this than the last time of carpet freshening!!
Not as easy as in the advertisements-it is hard work brushing in the powder once you have shaken it on to the area needing freshening. Plus, you have to vacuum the area prior to, and twenty minutes after application. It does freshen and improve the look of the carpet.

I bought this to try and revitalise a really nice rug that I received for free second hand but needed a little TLC. This stuff brought it up really well and there was a very noticeable improvement immediately. One star removed only due to the only slight criticism; if you use to much of the product it can clog your hoover a bit as it’s quite cakey and not a dry powder like expected – use sparingly and brush in well before leaving for 20 minutes and hoovering. As others have mentioned the packaging could do with a rethink and a proper way to sprinkle it would be great.
All in all very pleased that this saved me a more expensive remedy like hiring a carpet cleaning machine. 🙂

I’ve used this before, to a limited result so this time I was more fastidious! Firstly I applied about 2/3 the bag to my 10′ x 6′ dense short pile rug. I scrubbed it over with a silicone broom. Then scrubbed it again. Then trampled over it. Then went over it with my hoover whilst it was off (the brush bar helped). The white particles seemed to travel further than Bill Bryson with unlimited Air Miles. I’m still finding the dust 3 days later. I left it to dry. Then dragged my 3 ton Dyson (well it feels like 3 ton) out and hoovered it. I hoovered some more. And some more. It did look a bit cleaner and it definitely seemed fresher. The scent was light and the pile didn’t feel like it had a ‘coating’ on any more. It felt …well softer. I must add my rug is pale grey with duck egg blue pattern and had developed a brownish tinge. The blue is slightly brighter now. In all I’d say it’s a good product to freshen your carpets and rugs and does get it somewhat cleaner but is no substitute for a visit from the Rug Doctor.

I did my lounge and bedroom carpets, it’s easy to use, shake it on, brush it in, wait, hoover it up. It made a difference, carpets look cleaner, having a back problem, I found the brushing it in quite a chore, hoovering is always a chore, I left it for an hour or more, and then hoovered it I have to say I think it’ll need hoovering again as it doesn’t look as if it’s all up, I took the filter out of hoover and rinsed it straight after I hoovered, as a friend left heres and she said it set like stone, I find the smell over powering, it’s nit all that pleasantl, I can’t even tjinn if anything it smells like. A lavender smell would be better suited, but it’s definitely caught the back of my throat, I personally wouldn’t use it again, it’s easier and not much more to rent the rug Dr and do the whole house. I’m not looking forward to hoovering again later. My cat doesn’t like to walk on the cleaner carpets now, strange little thing that she is. I also knocked a glass of vimto over onto the powder, not a great start.

Firstly the criticism. When I first got mine some of the contents were already spilt in the amazon box. It appears the tear away seal was slightly undone. The packaging is awful I ended up removing the contents because I didn’t trust the seal and emptying into a plastic cereal container. I found it does remove staining due to foot traffic. I applied the content after it was shaken and then rub some of it to areas that were stained. I then rubbed it in the carpet pile with a small hand scrubbing brush making sure I did this in both directions. Then allowed to dry it will vary depending on temperature in your house. I did used my vacuum cleaner dyson v11. Some of the powered was slightly coloured. on some area I had to apply twice and have 40 minutes to dry house temperature was around 18c. if they could change the packaging I give the score more
