The overall ruck-sack is lovely. We use it for out little one to take his spare clothes to nursery – is it’s very light us!
That’s why I was very surprised when I found the hanging loop broke. I cant say it was due to the weight in the bag… perhaps it was just the stitching on the one side not being done fully?
Still – lovely bag.
I recently purchased the VASCHY Kids School Backpack for my son and I couldn’t be happier with the purchase. The design is absolutely adorable, and my son loves the astronaut theme. Bought this for my 4 year old when he started school. Great bag, sturdy and simple for him to use. Fits a large folder and all his books, large lunchbox and drink easily. Brought it on holidays and had plenty of room for his clothes for 4 days away. Perfect hand luggage for plane too. Recommend.
I bought bought three backpacks, the chest strap on one of the bags was faulty but I didn’t realise until it was in use and the weight made it ping open but when we got back, Amazon swapped the bag without problem.
You can just about see all three of my children with their backpacks. To give an idea of size my two youngest are 5, my son is quite small
For his age and my eldest is 7, she had the slightly bigger version.
Highly recommend the brand, so pleased we bought them. There is enough space each child could carry a change of clothes (I’m one of those mums that packs ‘just in case’ as I have children that are accident/spill prone!) their head phones, activity books, their teddy’s etc. plenty of more room but didn’t want them weighed down.
I looked and looked on the internet as I wanted a bag that was bigger than the ones they already have, must have chest strap so it helps keep the straps on their shoulders and fun colours, these ticked all the boxes. The kids love them.
Bought this bag for my son starting P1. The chest straps are a must. It has plenty of space to include his A4 reading bag, gym bag and lunch pack along with extra clothing.
He has been using this back for one school year and still looks like new. Great buy!
This bag feels like excellent quality. So far it has been used every day for school for over a month and it’s still looking brand new. I love that there is a bottle holder pocket on either side of the bag, as well as an inside pocket and front pocket.

I love the design and quality of the backpack. The straps and back are padded for structure and comfort. I also appreciate how there is a front clip to prevent the straps from slipping off little shoulders.
Really nice quality material. This bag is a great style, pattern and quality. It’s fun for kids but not babyish. In fact I’d wear it. We got the dinosaur one with the green front pocket. My 5 year old son loves it and I’m hoping it’ll last many years.

This is such a cute, spacious and well divided backpack. My daughter loves it and takes it to preschool. It holds her change of clothes, water bottle, fresh snack, story books, sometimes her hoodie/raincoat, and there is still some space left!
What an amazing bag! We bought this for my eldest son 2 years ago and its still in perfect condition, despite being stuffed full every school day and whilst being taken on holiday. Best value and it looks great. Now looking for another Vaschy bag for my younger son since it has proven to be great quality. I expected it’d last about 3 months, not 2 years. It’s well exceeded expectations

Bought for my son starting school. Perfect size, can fit lunch box, pencil case,side pocket for a drink, front pocket for extra bits and bobs, could also fit light rain jacket inside. 20 well spent. should last and looks great! Father and son both well chuffed.

I like the size of this bag. I purchased a smaller one for my 5yo starting school and it’s not even the end of the year and already it was too small. This one is perfect! Really good size for a change of closes and shoes, plus additional compartment for her books. It also has a separate part for her juice bottle too, which is an added bonus. Really like this. Excellent value for money.
I got this for my daughter to take to nursery but I also use this when we go on trips to the park. It’s really lovely quality, well made. It has come back mucky afew times from nursery uut it washes really well. My niece also has this same bag and loves it too
After searching for months to find a suitable kiddies backpack!!
My granddaughter absolutely loves the unicorns on the backpack. Its fits her school uniform & play clothes in with room to spare. Out side pockets are ideal for her water bottle and toys. Also like the outer zipped pocket and the inside pocket to keep smaller items safer. Not to heavy for her to carry even when full.

I am a little disappointed as its a great looking bag… but the straps are very long on a small boy and dangle very low down then once the arms are in… also.. I ordered it a month ago and the clasp for joining in the middle is already broken! But otherwise we love it. Great bag colourful but not obnoxious.
We bought the small model for my daughter 2 years ago, she kept it for 2 years and it remained in great condition, We got her the big one this year and she wanted the exact same design she had before! we also bought my son his first school bag. They are great, they look good, the capacity is perfect for lunch box and a coat, and they are not overly big on little children (mine are now aged 7 and 5). the buckle thing that ties in front of their bodies is a great feature we all like because it allows them to run without pulling on the straps constantly like i see their friends doing.
I bought this as present for my nephew (5year old). He loves the design

My only criticism is it has no reflective bits on it.
This is an excellent first backpack when starting school. This is smaller than ‘normal’ backpacks as they need to be for small children, the normal sized ones are too big and go down below their knees.
It has a small zip pocked out on the outside and 2 slots for water bottles (this was very important)
The main compartment is big enough for some books and change of clothes if need be, There are also multiple smaller pockets on the inside of the main compartment to organise storage.
The straps have some padding, but it does not need to be too much as I do not expect the bag to be heavy full of items, it also has a nice strap that clicks on the chest, this helps keep the bad in place and relive the pressure on the shoulders. Overall very happy with the bag!
My daughter loves this bag. It looks great, is very comfortable to wear and has a good amount of space. If I had to make one change it would be to make the outer side pockets slightly deeper for water bottles. However her water bottle has stayed put so it seems to be fine.
1. Chest strap! This is so important so that the bag stays put while they run, jump and play.
2. Side water bottle holder that is elastic so it keeps the bottle secure. I think having that on the outside means easy and quick access and no need to un zip every time my kid gets thirsty (which is often).
3. Has enough room but not so large that it’s uncomfortable to carry. Is made of strong enough material.
The only con I would say about this backpack is that it doesn’t have reflection strips on the straps and the back. Otherwise this is the perfect bag.
I’ve only used it a week so I don’t know about durability but will update on that if anything happens.
Beautifully designed and the kids love it. I personally have had 0 problems with the quality of this product and highly recommend it for all around use.
Item arrived the very next day on Amazon Prime and was packed well with all the tags included.
Now, don’t get me wrong as the backpack looks lovely with vibrant colours, sturdy made, good stitching, a lot of extras included on the actual backpack and is well made.
Our problem with this backpack is that it’s on a small size!
It isn’t suitable for carrying many things inside and would thus be not a good fit for my daughter who’ll be attending year 6 soon.
When you include PE kit or other clothing, water bottle, accesories, books that she might need on that specific day, packed lunch (if needed), reading material and/or homework folder, you end up not being able to put everything in.
This is more suitable for younger children to get the feeling of what to expect when being in class years 4+.
I chose the dinosaur print. A gift for a 4 year old who loves dinosaurs – he is quite tall. To be honest I wasn’t really expecting the level of quality. It is more expensive than some of the other backpacks so was really pleased to see that the price reflected this. Colours are vibrant, zips are substantial, the bag is fully lined and on the part that will rest against the child’s back it is padded. It has a couple of inside compartments and somewhere to write the child’s name. Very pleased. I just hope he is 🙂
