Used this on a couple of holidays this year & have to say it did a great job. Charged my Ipad & phone twice with no problem. Took a while to recharge but that is okay as long as it ready to go for the next time. Would recommend.
Like the title says, for a power bank it’s very big but if you’re going somewhere far and need multiple charges or you need a power bank for multiple devices/people then I’d recommend this one.
I have an iPhone 14 Pro and I can get 4-5 charges from it from 10-20% to full battery.
I like it so much I have two, one for work (I’m a truck driver) and one for day to day travels.
I don’t think I’ve managed to run it down entirely before recharging yet. It has plenty of power, but its quite heavy and I think must be in your hand luggage for airlines, which makes it quite cumbersome as you probably won’t need it whilst on the plane as most long haul flights have usb plugs for charging stuff nowadays. It takes a while to charge too, but that’s not surprising given its power I guess. Great thoug if you go somewhere with no power and you’re a photographer like me.
Had this for a few months now:
Actually has the capacity it claims to! (Rare)
Charges up quickly
Charges devices quickly!
Doesn’t get hot.
4 outputs (don’t forget the USBC out!)
2 inputs (use the USBC)
LED display is accurate.
Absolute bargain.
Amazing device. Bought it back in March for a trip to Italy, used it throughout the week and on/off since. It’s now September and I STILL haven’t used up my very first charge! On about 26%.
Ordered this to use whilst out and about and can’t fault it. I charged my iPhone and my son’s iPad from London to York and then back again. Love the fact you can charge multiple items at once. Other reviews comment on it being heavy but of course the better the battery the heavier it is! It’s not that bad In weight.
All round I’d recommend this and thinking of getting a second as my son has it most the time.
Really great product, excellent value for money if you can charge at work it a great was of saving money on your electricity bill especially for charging usb c and mico products
I like that you can see what % it is charged, I only used 15% to change iPhone from 12% to 100%. My only slight negative is it’s a bit of a brick to carry around
Never had one of these before, my daughter ordered it on my behalf as I was going on some long flights. Came already charged to 83% and worked perfectly at recharging my phone and iPad. When it came to re-charging it myself it seemed to take a long time but I’ve nothing to compare it with.
Bought this charger for my holiday, was impressed with the quality. Used it all holiday, had so many things on charge at once! Cape battery charger, watch and iPhone. Capable of passive charging as long as it’s not over loaded. It is heavy but that’s what i would expect.
Took to a festival and kept phone (samsung s51) going for 4 days. I did nit use phone much so topped it up each night.
I didn’t need to be so cautious as it still had 40%left at the end.
It’s not light but if you don’t need to carry it around with you all rhe time it’s perfect.
I think it is a little slow on initial charging but fine after that.
V happy with my purchase.
I have a smaller charging pack for taking in my backpack on hikes, which will cover one emergency charge, but I was looking for something to take camping for a week in order to keep my phone charged for up to 7 days. This charger is pretty heavy so you wouldn’t want to be carrying around every day with you, but to keep in your tent it’s absolutely perfect. Very easy to charge multiple items from it at a time due to the many output sockets. It says on the pack how much charge is left, and it charges phones surprisingly quickly. I charged my phone every day (from about 40pc to full), and the pack still had 70pc charge left on it! The initial charge of the pack itself took over 24 hours, so leave yourself plenty of time to charge it before you need it.
Absolutely fantastic power bank. Took it to a festival and lasted entire weekend – even had my friends borrow it. Came back after 4 days, still had 25% (easily two full charges left). Cant fault at all – recommended to everyone.
Yes it’s heavy, yes it’s bulky – but it’s made for the long battery life so it’s obviously not going to be compact.
Great that it shows the percentage, and auto stops charging phone at 80% so you don’t waste any charge on it.
I spent 7 hours in Virtual reality wirelessly thanks to this big guy and it still has 22% battery left. I can see this absolute unit of a power bank keeping my electronics going for years to come, hefty and a little chunky, but I think that helps with heat dissipation because this thing did not get too hot while charging a Meta Quest Pro to 100% and keeping it there while being strapped to my arm lol
Good bit of kit, though bigger and heavier than I had realised. If you want something for your pocket or handbag go for a smaller capacity!
I mostly use this in my campervan as a back up for my solar panel and it works well, providing plenty of power for my devices and charging quickly. If you’re going to a festival or a long weekend camping trip this would be ideal to keep your phone going.
Also, I recently bought a Pixel 7 Pro phone which arrived with 0 battery. None of my many wall chargers would power it. I actually thought it was dead. I plugged it into this and it came to life and charged quickly, making me a very happy bunny.
When I first opened this and picked it up, already knew this would be a genuine 30k battery pack. Did the customary drain to 0% (this was a mission as it came with 76%) and charged overnight (15hrs!) on 9w charger. It finally topped up at over 27k on its first full charge (it tends to get better after a few) plus my device tends to under read. So it is not ‘lying’ about it’s capacity as one reviewer insinuated, unlike some brands. Had a 10k one that could only charge under 5k! No wonder it was so light! All ports work as said and have no doubt it would be able to charge itself at 18w PD. Only critism (no not it’s weight, if you want it light/portable don’t get a 30k, get a 6 – 10k one) is that the % meter charges at 6% an hr until it reaches about 85% then it would jump to 100% within an Hr while also dropping the charge rate. This is normal though, but when charging devices it reduces cosistently. Maybe it’s just still calibrating. All in all 5 stars from me!
Overall, a very good power bank for the price.
Been using this for a couple of weeks now during regular use and just testing.
Let’s go with the negatives first:
* The included bag has left a lot of textile “dust” everywhere. This is probably from a factory with bad ventilation. This is not a big problem, but you will have to clean your power bank and your table a couple of times until most of it is gone.
* Rather heavy for the capacity. I have done a couple of measurements with other power banks I have and the weight/capacity ratio is quite high on this one. It’s not too crazy, but worth mentioning.
And here are the positives:
* Included bag is quite nice. It can protect the battery very well.
* Feels like a sturdy design. I don’t believe it will break even after a fall.
* It has about 30% (Rought estimate) loss in fast charging. This is very good and as advertised by the seller based on the number of charges you can do.
* Charging speeds are good. Especially on quick charge as my phone and tablet were being charge on full wattage.
I also bought this on discount and it is not easy to find something as good for the price. Highly recommend this product.
So this will keep your IPhone charged for days! It really does hold a lot of charge, but it’s very big and heavy. That is to be expected for a battery this size.
Used the above over the last 3 nights, of camping.
I’m no tech geek though and I don’t use my iPhone that much. So I can’t give you any stats.
The instructions say ‘click’ the side button to see how much charge/% there is in the power pack.
That doesn’t happen on mine. It only shows charge % when I plug something in!
Bit heavy, and takes a while to fully charge but ideal for use, fishing. Used on last trip, lasted 4 days, four full charges of phone, and charged 18650 batteries for vape. Great for the money.
My son bought this to take away with him and then use for school. Although I think he does carry it around the charger is much bigger than we expected. It did last him for a whole week away and he got quite a few charges from it. The teenager hasn’t complained, yet, so it must be ok.
I love this battery pack, and would have given it 5 stars all around if it weren’t by the super heavy weight… it charges my iPhone 10 fully in about an hour or less and my Apple watch in less then 20 minutes when I am on the go, so I just keep my phone inside my bag charging while I am walking or taking the train/bus, and the device still has much power left after charging my phone a couple of times a day if I am gone for the whole day! I kept trying it to see if I would get used to the weight in my bag, but it is very heavy to carry around if you are holding just a purse… I would love to have a lighter version of the same brand. I would have returned it to get a lighter pack, but unfortunately by the time I looked, sadly my return period was over.
I would totally recommend if you need a battery backup that packs a punch and you have a backpack to carry it around with you, or for those times when you lose power in the house. It will keep all your devices charged all day.
Overall, a great product as it does exactly what it says and expect, and also comes with a nice protective cover.
Design is okay, easy to use and has a screen to tell you the remaining charge.
Has fast charge connection, which is great, and fast charge wireless connection, which I use most of the time – no need to carry the cable.
Downside, but my own fault for not reading the dimensions prior purchase – this definitely isn’t a portable chargeable device – its great for holidays etc, but unless you carry a large bag around with you, it’s incredibly bulky to carry around – definitely doesn’t fit inside your pocket. I’ve included a photo with it stood close to a standard size can of pop!
Overall, a good product for using in the car, airplane etc, but too bulky to carry around in person.
I spent hours and hours looking at all the battery banks. I NEVER do reviews but i think this product deserves one! I went down to the kings coronation and was camped for 3 nights (crazy). I needed something to keep my phone charged up for important calls and photos whilst we were there. Now my phone is an Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max, so it’s a big phone to keep charged. I read review after review and I just decided as this item had good reviews, I’d give it a go.
Well;
It’s bloody fantastic! I can honestly say it’s one of the best things I’ve ever bought and I only purchased it for camping but I literally use it every single day. I just charge it up and keep it in my handbag. My house has 5 people in and they are constantly charging everything up and sometimes there literally isn’t a charger left or socket. Now I don’t need to bother. I just get my battery bank out and use that.
It is very well made and has some weight to it but it didn’t bother me at all. I just popped it in my bum bag with my phone. The speed it charges as well is fantastic. It’s literally as quick as on an official Apple lightning charger and plug and the battery bank charged my phone to full and only uses roughly 6% of the battery. I came home after 3 days charging with about 57% and I fully charged other people’s phones as well. There are 3 usb ports for any cable you need and a c type port and android port.
Do not hesitate to buy this! If mine eventually breaks, I would need to buy the same again. The quality is fantastic. It’s a massive 5 stars from me
I bought this powerbank because my mobile phone battery is pathetic, and I’m going on a week’s holiday without ANY access to power yoiks!
I have an iPhone 6s, bought 2nd hand: a new 6s battery has 1715 mHA capacity, and at 72% battery health I estimate mine has just 1235 mHA. I frequently need to charge it during the day, and own a couple of very small and light powerbanks for that purpose when I’m out and about (they’re able to take it back to full charge a couple of times). I considered getting a new battery for the phone, but it would still need charging over the course of a week, so I decided to invest in the Veger 30000 instead. I calculated that I should get at least 24 charges out of it, but I thought it was better to run a more life-like test
On arrival, the Veger 30000 had a 75% charge, so I used it to charge various items in order to flatten it and give it a full charge. It seemed to ‘fail’ at 14%, and wouldn’t stay ‘on’ or charge anything beyond that point: this may be a feature to protect from ‘deep discharge’ (which can shorten the life of a battery), so I’ll be looking at this more closely in subsequent uses. I don’t have any fancy equipment to measure actual capacity on, but logic suggests this effectively cuts the capacity to approx 25,800?
It took approximately 9-10 hours to charge to 100% (USB-C, 5V-3A). Since then, I have been charging my phone exclusively with the Veger 30000 (using the phone as normally as possible). It’s been 8 days so far and the display is showing 26%, so I’m quite impressed. It will be interesting to see how long I can make it last on this charge – and perhaps I’ll do this test again once or twice before my trip, to see if the powerbank capacity improves on subsequent charges.
Yes, it’s heavy to tote around (617g) so if I was backpacking or working to a weight limit on my luggage I might have chosen to trade off some capacity for something more lightweight: however, max power is what I wanted, and this is going to be perfect for what I need it for – a minimum of 7 days access to e-tickets, emails, internet, WhatsApp, photos and calls, without a plug socket in sight.
I was concerned about the comments regarding the rules about batteries on flights, so I have checked my flight operator’s website (Easyjet). The Veger 30000 is 111Wh, and they allow “spare lithium batteries with a Wh rating exceeding 100Wh but not exceeding 160Wh a maximum of two spare batteries permitted in hand luggage only”. I’ve taken screenshots of the website in case I’m challenged if they confiscate it, I’ll be complaining! Other airlines may have different rules, so if this is a concern for you I would advise that you check before you buy/fly.
Edit: the Veger 30000 discharged to 0%, on day 11 and a half. Now charging for the second test!
