I’ve used Hozelock guns for years – love them. Also have Hozelock accessories and pipes. But, recently, I found that even the expensive ones (and they can be expensive) broke if you dropped them – yes, I know that you are likely to break them if you drop them, but before Hozelock seemed much more robust – I don’t mistreat them any more than I did before. So, on that basis, I did some research and found these ones. They are compatible with Hozelock connectors and pipes and, actually, are as good – they have all the same multiple spray options and are easy to connect and disconnect. And, they were half the price of Hozelock – so, even if I break these too, I can replace them easily and cheaply enough. I am sure I will go back to Hozelock again at some point, but for the moment, these are doing the job well after 7 months of daily use! If you’re wondering why not 5*, it is because they are largely made of plastic (of course) and are more likely to break more easily – and we probably treat them with a little more care accordingly.
These things don’t seem to last through the winter, this has lasted all this summer, will have to see if it can make it into next year. So far so good

ot used it yet but the gun its stelf looks strudy and the setting ar3 ideal for what i need it for. also vought a new rolling hose to fo with it.

The shower fitting is perfect for watering plants, but the catch for turning the water on without having to squeeze the trigger is difficult to use. Lots of equipment. Good value.
And I am very pleased with it as well. Sturdy, easy to hold, many “programmes” and cheap enough to replace after a couple of years if needs be
This was a replacement for the usual YELLOW one which cannot presently be bought on its own. Jings it is better. (ADDED) I have only had one wee problem and that was with the auto-stopper connector in the pack. I find that the central plunger will shoot out of the hose instead of stopping the water flow automatically. So i still need to use the Hoselock version. The pistol itself, I do find it superior to the Hoselock (Yellow) one. I have just bought a second pack. Good stuff for me.
However, the fact the company ships ptfe tape with the connections ought to be a warning sign – the hose connector doesnt appear to be able to cope with the pressure and drips.
Swapped it back for the existing Hozelock connector and all is fine again. So in summary – i would buy this as a replacement spray head, but not convinced at using it as a complete set with connectors…
