It is firm and looks very durable. It does not have foam at the base, so it won’t feel soft or like sponge, this is what I was looking for.
I would buy again.
My ironing board seems to be a non-standard size 120x37cm, which is right in the middle of the stated range of this product (110-130 x 30-45cm). It’s a bit fiddly to fit (you might need another pair of hands) but well worth the effort. Not sure about durability yet. I find it can help if you leave old intact cover in place for extra padding.
