I use Linux openSUSE Tumbleweed/KDE. The camera was plug&play working straight out of the box. Of course you need v4l2, gstreamer, all usual codecs…which are more than likely already installed. I tested the camera with skype, vokoscreenNG, OBS studio, Telegram, Jitsi/framtalk, cheese, zoom, guvcview, mplayer, vlc, kamerka and a few more: they all work fine. I have an external microphone (Thronmax) so will not use the one attached to the camera. Picture quality is good and positioning of the camera is easy.
Super sharp and life like image you couldn’t ask for a better camera at the price it is

The camera quality is good, what makes this great is the ring light. I use for vido calling in a poorly lit room and it really does the trick.
Easy to setup with plug and play.
Have used this camera several times in teams meetings now, easy plug n play. Picture quality is decent, has a built in light, but you don’t need to really use this, the camera in low light is excellent and it makes it look like my office is in daylight, far brighter and clear image than my LG one I previously had.
Only thing missing for me would be a lens cover to stop the camera being switched on if my system was hacked

I’m genuinely impressed with the quality of this little camera it’s an immediate boost over an inbuilt webcam in a laptop.
Out of the box it works instantly and is recognised by Zoom and Teams with no input required.
It’s seems well built and the mount is versatile.
The ring light has 3 settings and was bright enought to add exposure even with my desk lamp on.
Picture quality is good and I stayed in focus thr whole time.
I’d like to see some options to adjust the exposure temperature and contrast but it may just be that I need to play around to find the settings.
Overall it’s a great buy, I had relatively low expectations but I was pleasantly surprised.

The VITADE customer support team have been great they reached out to provide support and updated firmware to fix the one issue I had with the camera
With this in mind I’m updating my score to 5 stars to represent their excellent customer service
I didn’t expect much, as my experience as been pretty poor with respect to finding decent, value for money cameras.
In short, quality is markedly better than my previous one (so my colleagues tell me). It’s easy to adjust it’s position on top of my screen and I like the light you can turn on which brightens up your face if the room is dark.
Definitely a recommended buy, very little point spending more.
I received the camera yesterday and it was great but today the picture isn’t solid and is flashing colours all over it. I’ve tried different USB ports on the dock and laptop but get the same results and now the camera is unusable.
