Just what I need to lift the tiled floor in my kitche
Bought this for the chisel hammer function to lift floor tiles stuck directly onto chipboard flooring. Started the job with just a hammer and chisel combined with brut force but it was taking way too long so purchased this drill. Definately was up to the job and bought this particular item as it came with a few chisels and drill bits. The drill itself is very heavy to use. You also need to hold the drill at the correct angle or the hammer function is not as effective. If you use with the chiselheld too upright it goes into the wooden floor. However it ripped through the tiles I had and it saved me some back breaking work. I have not yet used the drill function but its now sitting in my tool kit incase I need some serious drilling in the future. Hapy with purchase and therefore recommend

Very good value and a carry case, did the job very easily
This is a great bit of kit. Everything I’ve asked of it has seemed like a simple task. Plenty of punch and I find the whole feel of it is comfortable in the hands.
Reasonably sturdy construction. Absolutely made mincemeat of 190 1/2″ holes in mason art for a DPC. Paid for itself in one job alone!

The drill that I purchased is excellent VFM.
The only set back is that it’s very heavy if you suffer from arthritis as do I.
All said great addition to my tool shed!
This is a base entry hammer drill with sds capabilities at this price you can use it hard for 1 week and you have a tool lower priced than hiring from a hire shop. Even comes with a spare pair of brushes which I suspect you would need 1000 hours plus to wear them out. Not for the faint hearted as this is an aggressive tool not for DIY unless you know what you are doing. The case it comes in is crap. Throw it away but enjoy the tool.

Used to dig out old fence concrete post, it smashed them with ease. This is a powerful machine. Good value too.
Wow this thing cuts though anything I am well pleased took the tiles of my walls like a knife thought butter and cut into concrete blocks like they didn’t exist. It’s a.bit on heavy side but apart from that I can’t fault it.
Bought the drill to break up 100sqm of crazy paving, boulders and a wire reinforced concrete pond.
The drill was awesome and just kept on going. Would highly recommend to anyone for business or home DIY.
Having tried with an ancient black & decker electric drill to go through a 12″ thick sandstone cottage wall and getting no where, I thought I would invest in something a but more powerful. As always, it pays do do some research and hope the reviews are right. Having taken the plunge, I have been very impressed with this hammer drill and the power that it delivers. Its not just down to size/power rating I have found but this drill certainly delivers on all the counts I was looking to make. It handled the wall with ease – even with a slight overestimate on the drill size I made when converting feet to metric. So, a 1.5 metre drill in its teeth was like the safe knife through butter without any whiplash given the control the Vonhaus afforded. Well impressed.
I used it to remove bathroom floor tiles laid with an over-generous amount of tile adhesive on top of loft boards. Got the job done; hard work, but much faster than using a lump hammer & stone chisels. Attaching tools isn’t straightforward for anyone new to the chuck system, and it seems to use rather a lot of grease. Fortunately, the requisite grease is readily obtainable. After-sales advice from manufacturer good. Pleased I bought it.
Superb product. I was going to hire a concrete breaker but was advised to buy a product like this. So for an extra 15 I took the plunge and have not regretted it. Quality kit, quality box and works hard. I have used this thing almost non-stop for 2 weeks. The bits are sharp and have saved me a lot of graft. I am not a building expert so if a beginner like me can use this anyone can. Superb!
Brilliant drill. Cuts thru wall mass concrete wall like butter. Its not light which gives it more weight behind the drill bit. Delivered very fast and before time. Brilliant value. I had a Bosch that i paid 300 for, This is much better. Just buy it..
This is a very good piece of kit. I brought it because my other rotary hammer drill broke and I had a lot of old concrete to remove. This drill did the job with ease. It’s a little heavy but it’s a small price to pay when it comes to getting the job done. Highly recommend.
This is a might piece of kit, used it to dig out a trench along a cement floor, no problem. It’s not a lightweight machine and I expect it to last for many years. Good value for money too. Don’t hesitate buy it.
It’s a really good value piece of kit. It’s not lightweight but then what SDS breaker is! Nice selection of breaking bits in the box. Worked really well cutting through brick and concrete during our kitchen renovation.
Good robust tool, managed to use for a good period of time with little white finger. Two SDS bits did break on the shoulder during use, not sure if there is an issue here ? Otherwise very happy.
