Easy enough to put together, good size…as other reviews have said needs some boarding to fit standard UK supplied logs, but once done stacks many logs..and the supplied waterproof cover keeps the logs dry… happy with my purchase and would recommend.
Arrived as stated quite easy to assemble in minutes
Good
Really easy to put together and it does hold the crate of wood I bought.approx 1m2 if stacked correctly but you will need to have some sort of slats on the bottom to stack the wood on or it all falls through
I was able to assemble this myself without help. It’s large which is what I wanted. I had to put two boards along the bottem as some of the wood was not long enough to go the full width of the stand. I have it pilled high with wood for the last couple of months and it’s still going strong. There is a large cover that comes with it to cover the wood – easy to put on and it uses strong velcro to stick together along the sides. We’ve had a lot of rain recently and the wood is bone dry inside, just what I wanted.
Exactly what was said in advert and easy to bang together all in all a happy custome
Bought this initially as a “quick fix” towards the end of burning season when the cold weather wouldn’t quite pack it in for the year but the other stores were already full for next season. Went together easily and the frame is light enough to move around till you get the right spot for it. It swallowed a “tipped cubic meter” load no problem at all, guessing about 1.5cube would be doable if your stacking is on point. I would say solid, flat ground such as slabs would be the best surface for this and if you get a lot of wind, consider protecting it a little or the velcro-closed front of the cover might start an interest in interpretive dance but overall this has performed really well. Now using it for seasoning wood for next year, keeping it open whenever it isn’t raining and it’s doing well at that too. Would be 5 stars but the hardware exposed to the elements under the bottom of the cover started showing surface rust quite quickly and where the bolts joining the sections at the top of the side supports contact the cover, they have put holes in it. This would be prevented by popping a bit of foam or even just a bit of plastic over the end of the bolt on assembly to extend it’s life a bit.
Overall a great wee store at a reasonable price when you need a bit more space quickly or have a small-footprint space available.
Good price. needed a new store to replace old wooden ones. easy to put together once i found tools in husbands shed, little wide for wood but just placed planks across and problem solved perfect for my needs, even ordered a second one.
as not easy to stack small logs across width that fit our log burner so needed to improvise with a support length, also hopefully the cover will last well to maintain dryness of logs
Good size plenty room for logs little light could easily be blown over in wind
This holds a lot of logs and seems to be doing a good job at keeping them dry. I’ve used an old scaffolding plank to support the logs on the bottom of the frame, as they aren’t a uniform size and would otherwise fall through onto the ground. The cover is secured by cable ties (not supplied) or whatever you have around. I’ve been unable to make the flap, when folded back, look “taught” like the picture, it droops as there is nothing so support it- a minor detail though and, I’m happy with my purchase, it certainly tidies up the log area.
The frame work is to wide for standard logs they just fall through so you have to make a sturdy base to go across the bottom
When you have built that then it’s ok
Easy to put together. Did it alone. Quite sturdy but unless your wood is the exact length it will fall through the gap. I put a a scaffold plank along the bottom to stop this. I have also cable tied the cover at the front to stop it blowing off. Would benefit from having straps / ties attached to the 4 corners as there are only 2 holes at the front. Not sure how durable it will be but seems OK for the price.
