This is a good quality, well made product. Just a pity that it doesn’t come with some sort of carrying case. It doesn’t really need a charger (got so many of them!), a USB cable would do and Wahl could spend that part of the cost on providing a case. Also, as mentioned by someone else, it should have a flat base so that it can stand upright. A charging indicator would be useful too. For these reasons, four stars rather than five.

This seems to be a generally well-built product that works as intended but, for me, has a couple of basic design fails:

– it does not stand upright because it has a rounded end (I find this staggering)
– there is nowhere/nothing with which to store the loose heads/attachments together with the main trimmer – how does Wahl expect them not to get lost/separated from each other over time?

Those embarrassing hairs that protrude where you don’t want them to are now a thing of the past with this WAHL Trimmer. Good price, good price, nice design and it does what it says. Would recommend.

Great clipper. However, I was charged for another set – silver with batteries and cannot return it because it says I wasn’t charged. I was charged 27 for the two. I only wanted the black one for 16!

Seems a fair all rounder – a little light in construction, which makes it feel cheap, and the nose trimmer rattles around a bit but it seems to work ok. I’ve not used it for long but it seems to be performing ok so far. Good option for the price.

This is the best rimmer I have ever owned and Ive owned a good 5-6. Its really powerful and easily cuts the tickest hair. The eyebrow attachment is great and works well. The circular trimmer works better than similar items I’ve owned. I would have liked it to be a little thinner so it fit better into the ear canal but it works well enough. The straight trimmer is all around excellent. Its so powerful and the charge capacity is really great. I havent had to charge it yet since the inital charge which hass been a few weeks. I cant imagine there being a better trimmer out there. Highly recommend.

I purchased this specifically for trimming, nasal hair, to replace a different brand of trimmer that I’ve had for some years that has never been very good. This new trimmer cuts hair very well, the more seems much faster and more powerful, and it seems easy to clean, and I cannot fault it. No idea about battery life yet, but then, as it is rechargeable, it’s kind of irrelevant.

I have reached the part of my life where random hairs grow out of parts of my body that are not meant to, such as ears, eyebrows and nasal cavity. I had a cheapo battery powered trimmer before but I found that the battery did not last very long and there is nothing worse than being mid trim and your gadget grinding to a halt. Actually that is not technically true and I am sure there are lots of things in the world tat are worse than this and it is a First World Problem to be upset about having only one eyebrow trimmed and having to go to work the next day looking lop sided because there are no batteries in the house and the one out of the remote control for you VHS player is the wrong voltage. I decided it was time to upgrade to a mains version and, having researched the market, I plumped for this Wahl Nose Hair Trimmer for Men and Women 3-in-1 Ear and Eyebrow Trimmer, Rechargeable, Washable jobby. I had never come across Wahl brand before and could easily have been tempted by the likes of Panasonic, Sony or Phillips all of whom have their own versions of a fad gadget trimmer. This one was on offer so that swayed it for me. As a top 100 reviewer here on Amazon, I am regularly approached by people who offer me incentives for free products in return for positive reviews. I have always politely declined these offers as I do not think it is ethical, but the products they tend to peddle tend to be consumer electronic devices such as this trimmer. Feeling like a suitably upstanding citizen (but 15 worse off) for actually buying this myself rather than accepting a freebee opened this package and was impressed by the range of attachments. It took a while to work out how they fixed onto the buzzy thing and the so-called instructions were no help at all. Initially I thought that you have to snap off the white bit of plastic inside the attachments and tried to prize them off with a kitchen knife. A few unsuccessful attempts later and I realised that you do not have to do this and the eye brow and ear trimmer merely click on the main buzzy unit. I was soon away and it did not take me long to understand why exactly this product is called “WAHL” as that is exactly what i said when I put this up my nose for the first time and felt the gadget do its thing on my stray nasal hairs. My eyes opened wide and it gave me a surprising thrill to experience my nose follicles being zapped with a noise that you would expect to hear from one of those purple lights that you see that kills flies in a butcher’s shop. The ear attachment was just as good and I loved the crackling sound as the Wahl Nose Hair Trimmer for Men and Women 3-in-1 Ear and Eyebrow Trimmer, Rechargeable, Washable did its thing. I tried the eye brow attachment too and I can report that this too was a pleasant experience but not quite as intense as the nose or ear attachments. Apparently this product has 120 minutes of battery life. On the basis that, at most, I will use this for 3 minutes per week (on minute for each body part), that is in incredible 40 weeks of use before needing to charge it again. I am not entirely sure where I am going to store the little plastic attachments and I would have liked this to have come with some sort of container to keep the bits and bobs and I can see them getting lost quite easily. And for that reason, Mathew, I am going to give this 4 stars.

I had used my previous nose / ear / eyebrow hair trimmer for many years without fault (which was also a Wahl) and so when it finally broke the replacement was going to have to really live up to something. So I chose another model from the same company and I’m glad to say that I wasn’t disappointed. This does everything you need it to do. It has attachments to do all three problem areas and cuts cleanly. It charges via an AC adapter and once fully charged, keeps that charge for a long time even when used regularly. The adapter has a fair enough wire reach so should accomodate most people’s choice of placement. The only thing it lacked was any lubricating oil, but it does have a brush to clear away the cut hair and a protective cap to keep it mechanism clean. For me I also use a Wahl beard trimmer which has lubricating oil included and so this hasn’t been an issue, and even if you haven’t got that, there is Wahl oil that can be bought here on Amazon if you require it to keep those blades cutting for longer… Would highly recommend!
