I like that there is an adaptor supplied for Brita jugs. I tried to use them for more than 4 weeks but like the originals, they’re not so good after this period. Overall really pleased, I use the filtered water in my coffee machine as well as for drinking, these are my second purchase and I think they’re good value for money.

For some every time I opened one even though it was sealed in it’s on plastic wrapping, there was a bit of water on the cartridges I’ve never seen that before. I still used it anyway and everything seems to taste fine.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersHave always used genuine Brita filters but thanks to the ridiculous price they now charge thought I’d give these a go. Was a bit sceptical that they would be OK but am pleasantly surprised. They work just fine even with the little blue insert and I can honestly say they don’t seem any different. Will certainly order them again.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe filters seem to work at removing calcium and magnesium, but sometimes it can take a while for the water to drip through; I don’t mind too much, as the price was so good.

My previous review stated the filters didn’t work for a certain type of jug. This was incorrect. They are perfectly compatible if you read instructions and use the fitting provided. If your wife says they are no good, double check.

They have a tiny pin hole at the bottom so it will take hours if the water can filter through. I am attempting to send mine back and waiting for a response. Not happy

Golden Review Award: 24 From Our UsersPurchased these filters from Amazon. Pulled the old one out, cleaned the olastic containers, pushed the new one in and filled with water. Tick follows tock follows tick. Nothing. Full reservoir nothing coming through. No air lock as I knocked it several times air bubbles came up. Tried a second same thing. Pushed the old one in and it works.
3.10.23. After writing the original review, I read a review that mentions a blue adapter ring. After moving the filters around I found the adapter under a filter. Put it on the Brita as described and filled the tank with water. And yes the filtered water flows through. The water tastes as it should. So in short from 1 to 4 and the reason not 5 it could be better marked that a blue adaptor needed is in the box with the filters

I tried two and they didn’t work. Was ready to bin them when I found the little blue adapter that isn’t mentioned in the instructions (I couldn’t see a mention anyway). Now they work fine and the water quality is excellent.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersFirstly those reviews complaining about water flow filtration. You have to install the blue valve included depending on model otherwise the water will not drip through properly.

After using Brita’s own filters for a while I decided to try these to cut down on cost. They work fine and the taste is ok but personally I do prefer the Brita own filter for taste. I guess that’s down to personal preference.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’ve been meaning to get replacement cartridges for our hot water boiler for a while, ever since the “descale” warning appeared but kept putting it off, resetting the counter in the hope it would trick the appliance into thinking I’d done it!

Eventually I started my research ….. as usual! I knew the recommended brand (we all know it!) was too expensive for my purse so I looked at what Amazon was recommending for me. I researched more, read reviews, Googled the make and decided that if I didn’t like them I’d give them to my daughter for her water jug.

But I was really pleasantly delighted. They are a perfect fit, and even came with an adaptor if the fit wasn’t just right.

So far, so good and the water boiler must have thought its birthday and Christmas had come at once as it’s not half as noisy as before

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI recently purchased the Waterdrop Water Filter Cartridges as a replacement for my Brita Maxtra+ Jug filter and I am extremely impressed with the quality of this product. Not only does it filter out impurities and improve the taste of my tap water, but it also lasts longer than the original Brita filter. I appreciate the fact that it is environmentally friendly and can be recycled after use. Overall, I highly recommend the Waterdrop Water Filter Cartridges to anyone looking for an effective and eco-friendly replacement for their Brita Maxtra+ Jug filter.

Golden Review Award: 22 From Our UsersThe bottom of the filter is not the same as the genuine Brita filter. There’s a small valve in the inner jug and this does not open with this replacement filter cartridge, so the water does not flow through. However these is a small blue plastic sleeve that comes with the filters and once fitted, the filtered water flows correctly (note this is not mentioned in the instructions, customer support pointed me in the right direction. Five stars for customer support, very fast and friendly response).
