It’s effortless to give this device a gentle twist and get either a normal water flow, a strong spray or a gentle aerated spray. Found it much easier to use than the type that you have to pull up and down.
I bought this because the water pressure from my new tap was poor and I could not get the washing up liquid to froth. I fitted this and it is great now
I had to get a plumber to fit this as despite coming with a variety of washers to adapt to different taps, it proved impossible to stop it leaking from above and below the fitting. Plumber said a washer had been missing. It now works and hopefully will last longer, being metal, than the previous two plastic aerators that fell apart.
All in all it’s a very well made aerator, however in a commercial application you need higher flow to fill up all sorts of things. This would be best suited for strictly rinsing dishes.
I have been wanting a tap attachment so that I could spray water when I clean all corners of my Belfast sink. This does the job perfectly. It was easy to fit. I took the attachment out of the tin and simply screwed it onto the end of the mixer part of the tap. No problems at all. The finish and colour are excellent and match the brushed brass finish on my taps. I have not completed the Durability section as I have only just started using the attachment, but it is well made and I don’t anticipate any problems.
Once I’d worked out which bit fit what, although needs a bit of strength (which I struggle with as I have arthritic finger joints ) it was all done in few minutes. Works like a charm 🙂
The Aerator works very well and is a big upgrade over the stock aerator I removed. I have my reservations about the durability of it, however, because it seems to be made partially of plastic parts. I’d have rather paid a premium for all metal construction.
The product was easy to install and solved my issue with my faucet. The only issue I had with it was it became a bit loose after a while and started leaking. I just needed to tighten it again and it works well again.
I liked the overall finish to the spray head, the way it was packed and the accessory kit that the box contained, ie reducers and male to female convertors. The angle that the head turned would have been better had it been greater, given that, although the spray is powerful, on a pressurised hot water system, it has quite a narrow spray pattern. A good solid piece of brassware that seems, so far, to be working well.
