They are amazing I got these to save money from my electric bill. It was a win I had these on my tree and stuck the solar panels to the window. My house is south facing so when sunlight it charges well. Yes I did test before actually putting them on my tree to see if they would charge through the glass it was a great brain weave of mine. Absolutely none of my Xmas lights costed one bit of electricity all was solar or battery ( not happy with that part as don’t help our earth however with the rich robing us so badly through gas and electricity had no choice)

    Have a great day

I got these to wrap around a tree in our garden and out some up into the branches it gives a beautiful effect at night. Its solar powered so I have to make sure the panel is in sunlight during the day as it has a lot of lights to power, there have been some days my lights haven’t lit up at night but I guess that was due to the lack of sunlight that day. I expect they are not going to work much in winter will have to wait and see.

These are a really nice double set of lights that we have put down either side of our garden path. They are really pretty and they really add something to the garden, however, I would say that you shouldn’t buy them if you want bright lights that will light the way up the garden path on a dark light. They don’t really light the way however, they do make pretty decorations.

So far this set of 300 lights works well, easy to install wall mounted panel, lots of easy to use settings in particular the option to dim the brightness is important for me. Highly recommended poroduc

Who doesn’t like fairylights! 175 feet is a lot of fairylights and you can’t have too many. These ones are great. Neat, well put together lights on a (quite thick for fairy lights) wire.

The light given off is warm, clear and bright. The solar panel seems very good quality, is well constructed and clearly marked.

Has an on/off button and one mode button. A very good product.

I decided to order the 200 light option as I didn’t want them to be too long. They were perfect for my needs, they work well, they’re bright and I love that they can be controlled by the little remote included.

They can be switched on and off as needed, and they’re water resistant.

I’m hoping that they work just as well in the darker/colder months, but so far I’m very pleased with them.

I ordered the large set of these with 500LED lights at 53m long they cover quite a large area, I was not sure how bright they would be with them being solar powered and the amount of lights, but they are actually really nice and bright, they can be controlled with the controller and have lots of different settings such as flashing, sequencing or on constantly.

The lights themselves and the cable feel very sturdy , they also arrived on a reel making them much easier to get out as they where not all tangled up.

Overall I am very impresswed with these lights and would recommend them.

I thought that I’d go large with these lights and ordered the 174ft length with 500 LEDs. When they arrived, I actually began to wonder exactly how I’d manage to fit them, let alone where I’d put them! In the end, I ‘made like a monkey’ and shinned up some of the trees in my back garden and hung the lights from those. It’s just as well these lights come wound round a cable reel as untangling them would be a nightmare and could take literally days. Best hang on to it too for when you want to remove the lights and store them away.

Blimey, the length is ‘mahoosive!’ Still, they were surprisingly easy to wind round the branches and I managed to create a net effect by draping them back and forth across the trees. Instead of attaching the ground spike and placing the solar panel at the base of the tree, I cable-tied it to a branch towards the top of the tree where it would have an unimpeded view of the sun.

I crept outside at around 10.45pm just as my other solar garden lights were beginning to come on. I knew that the push-button on the rear of the solar panel was in the ‘on’ position (there’s a small red LED and the remote control won’t connect with it unless the panel is on) but I couldn’t get the lights to stay on for anything longer than half a second. After adjusting the brightness level, I realised that it had been set on the dimmest level and soon as I increased the brightness on the remote, they burst in to life. I should say that the remote needs to be no more than about 2M away from the solar panel to connect; something I hadn’t taken into account before I put the panel near the top of a tree!

There are a number of flash patterns available but I prefer them on static. A particularly useful feature is the timer function. At this time of year, the lights don’t come on until after 10.30pm, so there’s no point in them staying on until dawn. I have them set to stay on for 3 hours; that way most of the battery will be preserved for future use.

Everybody who’s seen the lights finds them attractive and with the cables being green in colour, they’re very discreet during the daytime. I’d definitely recommend this string of lights but I only hope I can remember when I left the cable reel when the time comes to take them down!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent value, surprisingly bright and with good longevity and adjustability

Great solar light set. What I like about this which is different to all the other sets I have is it comes with a remote so you can turn it on and off when you like rather than it coming on when it’s dark. This way you can preserve the power better. There are some patterns you change change so that the leds flash. The pack I have had 200 lights and was great for a small tree I had. Would be perfect for Christmas but I would use this for all occasions. Well build and excellent quality. The solar panel can be wall mounted or put on a stake in the ground. Looks. Fully water resistant so no issues in the rain. High quality and a good price.

Solar panel with 4.5V 1200mah battery inside , charges for 6-8 hours and can work for over 35 hours.
They seem of good quality. These work all through the night and lately we have been having rain for the last few days and they are still lighting with no direct sunlight only clouds.
For solar-powered lights, these rate five stars.

These solar lights are nicely made, with a generous length of cabling between the solar panel and the first of the lights — at approximately 2.9m (over 9.5′). The lights were supplied on a cardboard reel, to help prevent them from becoming tangled The solar panel has several indicator lights on the back — a red one that illuminates when the panel is set to be on (and the power hasn’t been completely depleted), and a blue one which indicates when the panel is actively charging. A green light flashes on the back of the panel when the remote in used to turn the lights on — then mimics the pattern of the light set (flashing between green and red when the lights are flashing, fading from green to off when on slow fade, steady on when the lights are in static mode). The lights are supplied with two options for fixing the panel — a simple ground stake for use in softer surfaces such as soil, sand, gravel, or bark, which slots in to the bottom of a flat ended section at the base of the angle adjuster; or the base of the angle adjuster itself, which can be screwed to a flat surface, such as a wall, patio, rail, or decking.

The lights are nice and bright. Cabling and built up parts behind each LED is dark green. Functions include twinkling, alternating, flashing, chasing, fade in/out, slow fade, and static. The included remote control (powered by included cell battery) allows you to switch the lights on/off adjust the brightness level, or set a timer to run for 3, 5, or 8 hours. Even with daylight hitting the solar panel, these flick on briefly to show that they have been turned on, or to demonstrate a particular mode selection, if you’re setting these up during the daytime. On the back of the solar panel a control button allows you to select the light mode, though no other functions can be manually altered.

These Solar lights are ideal for the garden are VERY long (53m, with 500 x lights). These are perfect for larger gardens, driveway, or anywhere outside. They look really lovely when illuminated, and make a great feature, especially on summer evenings whilst sitting outside, or looking out onto the garden etc.

As noted, this is a large set, meaning you can cover a large area. Available with a choice of blue, multi-colour, warm or cool white, my choice was warm white. They provide a surprisingly bright, attractive light output, that is consistent and even all along the length. The lights are robust, and well-made, ideal for wrapping around trees, hedges, shrubs etc; or alternatively along fences, or anywhere else that suits.

These lights have 8 x different effects (various flashing sequences etc), which is fairly standard these days, so you have a good selection to choose from, flashing, sequencing, or constant.

There are 4 x small screws at the rear of the panel which presumably will allow access to change the batteries, if and when it’s necessary. I haven’t attempted to open.

The internal battery information is a bit vague. Lithium, Ni-MH? It states 1 x AA, which can’t be right (states 4.5V, so presume 3 x AA, series connected, which at 1200 mA/H, sounds about right). They are solar lights, so the duration of illuminance will obviously depend upon where you position the panel, and of course weather conditions (sunny, cloudy etc). The panel is quite large — larger than usual, and it does include a remote control. As with all this type of product, you need to be very close to the panel for the remote control to work, but that’s not an issue.

A really good, and thoughtful feature is that the lights come on a drum which means you don’t have the usual tangling issue, and also you can always take down and store, or move easier.

All in all, good all-round solar lights, where you want lots of them! Good quality, and very good value too.

I hope that you have found this review helpful.

Need some Xmas lights? Or just celebration lights?

These are the WISD Outdoor Solar Powered Fairy Lights 500 LED 174ft Multi-colour with remote, fixings and ground spike. Also available in blue, warm white or white and in 100, 200 or 300 LEDs.

These LED fairy lights are really really good, firstly the solar panel control is fantastic, and the thickness of the wire is great. The LEDs are so bright, they have 8 modes including combination, waves, sequential, slo-go, chasing, slow fade twinkle and steady on, also 3 levels of brightness. You get the option of timer from the remote of 3,5 or 8hrs.
You get a good 20hrs working time off just 6hrs charge, so more than good enough. Will be less in winter due to sunlight.

Overall these lights are fantastic, they are thick with a green plastic coating, and the LEDs are great. Fully recommended.

Initially I thought that the solar panel was too small to feed so many LEDs; however, I soon found out that I was wrong: even though only in the sunlight, if one could call it that here yesterday, for a few hours, the lights came on at about 10 at night – I thought that they should have come on about an hour earlier, they were still on this morning at 5a.m.

The number of modes, the remote control, which includes the ability to alter the brightness, makes this light set so much fun. I was so absorbed in arranging, rearranging, that hours past by and I hardly noticed it until noticing the time at about 10.15 last night.

These lights are brilliant simply because there are so many of them and the cable length is massive so plenty for a garden/patio/tree etc. Ideal for parties/ birthdays/Christmas etc. These are quickly charged in day light via the solar panel. The remote allows you to control them and there are plenty of lighting options. These look stunning threaded through a tree as a centrepiece. Great value for the quality. Really happy with this product.

Wow… I thought these were only 74 foot when I ordered them, but they are in fact 174 foot. I have 20 fence panels around the side and back of my garden, yet this would likely go around the fence twice, which is incredible for a solar set of lights.

These light up bright and the colours of the LEDs are nice. I had planned to install these around my greenhouse and she’d, but the extra long length has now left me contemplating other uses for them.

These even come with a remote control. The charger on the back of the solar panel is advanced compared to others, making this a really impressive set of lights.

Overall, I’m super impressed and can highly recommend these. They’re that long that they even come on a cable reel!

These Solar fairy lights arrived inside their own plain box . Along with a solar panel and a remote control .

These lights are solar fairy lights (A bit like the ones you’d put on a Christmas tree ) they are spread across the 74 ft of wires that are best placed up high to get the full effect of their twinkling .

Installation was simple these are easy to hang and if you start at the end the final part to be placed is the solar panel .

The solar panel has two buttons on the back a power button and a mode button . You can choose the modes for these fairy lights either by pressing the button Or by using the remote control .

There are three brightnesses from white to warm yellow and 8 modes which vary from static to intermittent or flashing .

This is a great set worth every penny of its cost .

    Happily recommending

This is a great set of multi-coloured, solar lights. Comes on a drum for ease of storage.

I have tested these out, despite it being midsummer, and they are bright and attractive and hold their charge well. That they are solar charging is just an added benefit, though I will be interested to see how well they perform during the overcast days of winter, which is when I intend using them fully.

WISD Outdoor Solar String Lights 43ft 100LED Garden Lights with Remote Control 8 Modes Solar Powered Fairy Lights Waterproof for Party Wedding Christmas Decoration(White)

12.39 at the time of review.

I went for the 100 light string and am not disappointed by them in any way. You get the lights and a remote control to work them as well. I have tried and used lots of solar powered lights, but they all tend to fail after a while, sometimes even after a few weeks. These have been up for 3 weeks now and work perfectly and the solar unit doesn’t seem to have let any rain in either, which is usually the downfall of so many ‘outdoor’ solar lights.

The lights are bright and come on and off depending on the setting used and I’m happy to recommend them. You can buy cheaper lights (as have I and thrown them out) but these ones are really good and I am pleased to be able to give 5 stars to these solar sting lights.

I’m very impressed with these lights. They are solar powered, remote controlled, colourful and well organized on wheel -first time I see lights like that nicely rolled up on wheel.. big bonus for that.
Solar panel is good size and great quality. We can see the light indicator on the back showing is it charging or lighting. Next to the power button is also light showing that it’s on and working. We can control the lights from solar panel itself or via remote control which actually have more options including timer, dimmer and reset settings. Back of solar panel have only mode changing button along with power button.
Solar panel comes with ground spike and wall/fence/shed fixing, depends which spot offers the best access to sunlight.
Lights are beautiful, colourful and mesmerising..
If we decide to pack them away we can use the wheel again so lights will not tangle as much.
These solar powered lights are fantastic quality and I can surely recommend them to everyone.

Really pretty outdoor solar powered fairy lights.
200 LED bulbs on a long 74 foot cable. The little
solar panel is easy to assemble and comes with a
detachable plastic spike for putting in the ground
or a flower tub and a couple of screws if to want to
attach it to a wooden fence post (we’ve put it on
the eaves of our shed roof). It has eight lighting ‘modes’
controlled by a small remote control unit. I’m not a
big fan of special effects so am happy with the lights
set to constant mode. They look really lovely trailed
around the shed window and roof. We like them a lot.

These solar-powered lights arrived quickly and in good packaging. As well as the lights, there is also a remote included to control them, and a solar cell. They charge through the day, and they stay on all night which is great. Overall, good value for money, very long and will definitely transform, your garden, recommended!
