4* Much the same as previous year. However graphics/video sharper. Less glitches thus far! Happy enough with WWE purchasable & DLC but always want more! Disappointed by the standard of CAW downloads. I believe lots of the community has moved onto PS5!

Would love to see Create a PPV or Show return. Would like stats and ratings to collate better.

Great price for this game considering it was released this year. The game arrived and it was still stuck in the disk ring (so many times from other places has the disk come away and rattles in the box which can scratch) but this didn’t happen.

Great update to the franchise. Modern and up to date but with plenty nostalgia. Very easy to control and lots of depth and entertaining for kids aged 7, 10, 14,16 and older (fan from the 90s).

Usual expected good standard of game format from WWE series. Son loves it and it is one of his favourite games. He loves the new wrestlers introduced and match formats. Highly recommended. Appropriate age rating.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIt’s a fun game to play for an hour or so, but after a while I do find myself getting bored of it. The MyGM mode is the exception to this, but otherwise the Play and Universe modes are the same rinse and repeat formulas of the previous games. Universe mode hasn’t much advanced since WWE ’13. The new feature in this iteration of WWE 2K is that you can play as a single character, so it’s like a season mode, but not really. The story mode is good for unlocking extra arenas and wrestlers etc., but again it gets so repetitive and tedious after an hour or so. I feel like the game would’ve been better if the single player universe mode would’ve been integrated with a story mode, a bit like the season mode in WWE Smackdown: Shut Your Mouth, which I still play through and seems more enjoyable than what has been presented for WWE 2K23. War Games is a fun added match type, and Cody Rhodes, Solo Sikoa, RVD, The Hurricane, and Molly Holly are all nice new base game additions to this roster, but don’t justify paying full price for. The game is good, but not great; it’s just missing that special something that could have made it great.
