I bought this fan and a flue thermometer for our small 5kw multi fuel stove which serves a smallish room 4m x 4m and they are a great combination. The fan doesn’t blast the heat around like a fan heater but it just ensures a gentle distribution of heat around the room. The heat from the stove generates the power to operate the fan and remarkably the fan is completely silent. The thermometer gives me an excellent guide as to when I should add more fuel which means I use the stove in the most efficient way. Very pleased and impressed
I liked the fact that it starts at a relatively low temperature. And that it is quite.
Use the fan to distribute the heat around the room
Not sure one fan is adequate so that warmth can reach other rooms. M
Sturdy fan works really well distributing heat around from my log burner.
Totally automatic and completely silent in operation. Just set it down on top of the log burner and off it goes as the temperature rises. The included temperature guage is also very useful to ensure you are burning at the right temperature to avoid a build of tar etc in the chimney
This has to be the best decision I made this year, it’s transformed my life, my entire living space is warm, all my precious animals are warm & enjoy basking in the heat. The stove fan is an absolute must as it pushes the heat around all areas.
And it’s enabled me to save money on my utility bills, I also do other stuff to keep the costs down but after watching my gas meter spin like the wheel of fortune whilst my central heating was on back in December 2022 I needed to change things.

The fan started to spin very soon after lighting the stove. It spins very fast and is silent. I’m not sure about how well it distributes the heat. There’s no feeling of a gust of warm air being projected into the room, but it’s spinning, so I presume it’s working.
Using this on log burner type gas stove, first fan shipped didn’t work, contacted supplier who shipped a replacement immediately, replacement worked ok although takes upto 30 mins on full to kick in although in temperature range. Excellent service, very quiet, would recommend
Good little product. Slight unsteadiness at certain temperature which causes noise but good for the money.
Good build quality but guess being a five blade fan it takes a little more heat to get going. Burner needs to be well hot to start turning. Once going does distribute the heat and used to dry clothes on drying horse and does this very well. Unless your using a lot of wood would recommend a 3 or 4 blade fan.
This is not mentioned in the instructions or the sales details on Amazon, it is a good product but because of the lack of this advice I could not award the 5 stars it deserves
