1. It can be installed in a variety of scenarios. Check whether there is a small hole on the roof of the RV to pass the cable. If not, use an electric drill to drill the small hole according to the size of the cable.
2.Thread the cable into the small hole
3. The Cable entry seal box bottom can be fixed with super glue or stainless steel self-tapping screws, it is recommended to use super glue
4.It is recommended to point the cable entrance away from the direction of travel of the RV to prevent water from being blown into it

Worked as advertised. I put butyl tape around bottom edge and pre drilled holes in van roof. Yes, I still have to clean up the butyl tape and lap seal.

Por el precio que tiene no esperes gran calidad, los prensas son plasticos de los malos, si aprietas para asegurar la estanqueidad la goma se va (te toca hacer o poner otra para asegurar que no entre agua) las roscas vienen hechas en caliente, o sea que si aprietas se van (solo en la tuerca), en definitiva si eres un poco manitas te valdran para asegurar la estanqueidad y para que duren bastante, sino es mejor invertir algo mas, a mi me valen para donde va a estar.
Compr este pasamuros para poder dejar pasados los cables de las placas solares de mi camper hacia el interior.
La carcasa no es demasiado gruesa pero es correcta, asienta bien en superficies planas y tiene dos tuercas con aro de goma que presionan el cable para evitar que entre agua.
Colocarlo es sencillo, basta con poner un cordn de polmero MS (Blanco en mi caso) y pegarlo sobre el punto de la carrocera donde hagamos hecho un agujero de bastante dimetro o dos ms pequeos por donde los cables entrarn al interior.
En mi caso lo pegu el da antes de instalar los cables, para asegurarme de que no lo movera mientras el polmero curaba.
En las especificaciones indica que se puede usar con cables de 3 a 12mm. Dudo un poco respecto a esto… Yo pas cable de 6mm2 y tuve que apretar bastante las tuercas y si bien no entra agua, no tuve la sensacin de que apriete demasiado. Tenedlo en cuenta si vais a usar hilo solar de 4mm2, quizs no os sirva.

Good quality housing that looks nice and feels robust. Cable entry is secured well and so far nicely waterproof. Easy to use.
I was just in the process of fitting a solar panel on the roof of my motorhome and saw this was available as it was on my to buy list.
Really nicely finished housing with a polished surface, ( not that I’m going to see it much as its on the roof!)
The rubber cable grommets tightened up fine around the cable.
I gave the base a good coating of Sikaflex and left it for 2 days with a brick on top, and it has been perfect.
We had a downpour yesterday and no water ingress , all dry as a bone.
Very happy, worked perfectly.
