A nice neat borde
If you want a nice looking lawn with beautiful edges then this is a handy way of ensuring it. It is easier to mow the lawn and you will get a professional look in your garden.
This will take time to install
The first thing I noted when I got this is that you do not get enough pegs (nails), and I had to get more just to make this work. The plastic needs the nails to stay up since the plastic is not thick enough to do it by itself.
I created a ditch and then used the nails(pegs) to hold the screen in place while putting soil in, and I needed a bunch of nails(pegs) since this material will not stand on its own.
Once done though, I had a about 1cm above ground and the rest is below.
Once in though it is doing what I set out for it to do, and that is keep the grass and weeds at bay, and on that count the plastic sheet works well.
Overall, installing will take time, you will need to get more pegs(nails) unless you just use a few in a straight line, and it does work once setup.

It took a decent effort from the little ones to install them in the signed areas 😉
Although, it was incredibly fun, especially seeing them in action and being occupied with big smiles on their faces even facing difficulties, because of the flimsiness of the material of the product.

Took a bit of work to get this sit neatly to keep the grass back from a veggie bed. Needed to use a lot more staples than were supplied

I wanted to add a couple of rows to a low raised-bed wall, the crinckly stuff you usually get for edging was not ideal for holding back the soil while I got on with the brickwork. This was just the thing.
Stiff and effective
This lawn edging strip is bendable to follow any curved edge of a lawn, or can be used straight.
It is very stiff in the width, so doesn’t flop around or bend over at all, so it will keep the edge nice and crisp.
It is easy to cut with a sharp pair of scissors and comes in two lengths, but it would be easy to butt it up together if you need a longer length.
It also comes with some metal tent peg type pins to hold it in place, if you need them. They aren’t long enough to wrap over the top of the strip, so you just put them on the lower side to keep it in place.
Please ignore my review saying the pegs were missing from my package. My mistake I didn’t see them wrapped up inside the roll of edging
