Questions and Answers
Q: What version is this HDMI cable?
A: These are high speed HDMI 1.4a cables. With a bandwidth speed of 10.2Gbps.
Q: Do these cables work with a 4K TV
A: They will work on a 4K TV if the device used to connect to the TV is outputting a 1080p resolution. For example a 1080p Blu-Ray Player or Standard Sky HD Box – these will work fine.
Q: Will these cables work with SKY HD and Sky Q?
A: Absolutely but only at 1080p. Does not work with Sky Q at 4K 2160p resolution. You would need to set Sky Q video resolution to 1080p.
Q: Do these cables work with Virgin Media TV boxes?
A: You will also need to go into the settings and change the video output resolution to 720p/1080p. Then these cables should provide a signal.
Q: Do they support ARC?
A: Yes they have full support for ARC (Audio Return Channel)
Q: Do these work with Dolby Atmos?
A: Yes they do.
Q: Can this cables work from a Laptop to a Projector
A: Yes they will, please make sure the video output resolution is set no higher than 1080p at 60Hz.
Q: Will these work on an Xbox or PS4 games console?
A: Yes. Only at 1080p. Will not work with PS4 Pro and Xbox One X with resolution set to 2160p.
Q. Are these cables suitable for running outside?
A: No, these cables are not waterproof. You can run outside but would need to protect them in weatherproof trunking.
Q. Are these cables compatible with a HDMI splitter?
A: Yes this cables should work fine with most HDMI splitters. Especially “powered” splitters. However, sometimes they can cause problems and we would recommend testing without first.
Help and Advice
Q. I’ve set the resolution to 1080p but the cable is still not working?
A: Please note that some devices come with a “low powered” HDMI port and this can cause problems with long HDMI cables over 5 meters in length. So if there is an issue, please test with a PC or Laptop, as these will usually have enough power to carry the signal.
**Please always test the cable first before running through walls, under skirting boards or trunking to make sure they are compatible with your set-up**

easy to use and fit the results are absolutely brilliant cannot say anything against this produc
I bought this to connect my pc to a tv on the other side of the room, therefore it does not get moved much, however the build quality would make me not want to, it works perfect for my use, my tv is only 1080p 60hz so I can’t provide any insight on higher quality displays but would highly recommend if looking for a similar use case to mine
Only fault I could find was that it did not have gold plated connectors as described.
I needed a long lead which is why I bought it. Works perfectly. Thank You
seller was great communication and helped straight away when I had problems they sent a replacement as soon as I said about it not working now it works great 10/10 seller highly recommend
The first HDMI I got didn’t work and it almost ruined my plan for the day. However, after my previous feedback, the seller reached out to me and replaced the item with an upgraded one, swift delivery and not only that, he refunded the first payment. This is pure customer satisfaction met and I appreciate this gesture of making things right. Although, I wished he didnt refund and just replaced it, so I will be ordering again from the seller. Thank you Luke for the new HDMI, works well.
I carry HDMI cables around with me as I travel to delivering training courses from my laptop. It’s sensible to have a lengthy cable like this one but I wish it wasn’t so thick and heavy. In other circumstances that wouldn’t be a problem and might indicate quality. Good value.
Good quality cable.
It didn’t work well for me as 30m was too far for my Virgin box to the tv.
Not a fault of the cable.
I’m sure in the correct application it would be fine.
Good all round struggling get volume controles from the receding device may have relationship with the product.
Bit weird that a cable can’t support 4k but this one didn’t. Worked fine with 1080p so kept it for another project, but still annoying!
Wanted to link my Dell Inspiron 3662 to my Panasonic TX-26LXD80 but unfortunately it didn’t work as the PC didn’t recognise the TV. I did test the cable by linking a Humax box to the TV and that was OK although the cable took some persuading to establish a firm connection.
It seems a bit extreme to return the cable to get back 6.95!
