Takes a little bit of practice to achieve the proper waves like you see on the photo rather than just limp waves or a crimped look but once you do it’s great.
We’ve passed this on to our friend whose daughter has super straight hair and they are loving the mermaid hair effect it gives.

This is my first time using a hair waver and it’s good to use. I also have the curling wand and hair brushes from lily england. This brand has become my absolute favorite due to their quality and very lux looking products. This 3 barrel hair waver saves a lot of styling time when you’re in a hurry and very easy to use even for beginners. It also comes with varied heat settings for different types of hair and a protective hand glove for safety. I just felt that it’s a bit heavy for me to work with. Apart from that it’s such a worthy product.

The lowest setting is 130 and goes up to 210 max used on the lowest setting and done a brilliant job and would definitely recommend great value for money .

My wife’s been using this and despite her being a bit skeptical to begin with, she’s now a convert and likes it. It’s a little bit cumbersome to begin with as it’s bigger and heavier than normal curlers but you soon get the hang of it.
It works best with longer hair because you need a fair bit of length to get the best from it. Medium or shorter length hair is a bit tricky to position in the curlers.
The results are great, even for someone who (by her own admission) isn’t great at hair styling. It gives a lovely wavy look and because of the way it works it’s quite quick to use compared to normal curlers.
I’ve never tried hair tools like these before and they are taking some time to get used to. They do their job, but are not intuitive to use so do read the instructions carefully. I found the metal stand to be a little fiddly and was a little worried that they would tip when put down, they didn’t but it felt like they would. The actual waver works well, but you need to take your time, in many ways I felt a bit a similar result from plaiting my hair overnight, but if you have the time this would work equally well. One small thing is the instructions state that the optimum temp is 180 degrees but the settings jump from 170-190. In a way it doesn’t matter, but it’s the sort of mismatch which shouldn’t happe
This is best used on longer thicker hair and on this type, which my niece has, it has made really good waves that have lasted all night with a bit of hairspray to hold the style. It warms up quickly and she has found it very easy to use.
It comes nicely packaged certainly nice enough for this to be gift.
I’ve tried hair wavers before (with varying results) but none so good as this one. This Lily England mermaid hair waver really does create the most beautiful beach waves. It’s so easy to use too!
The price point is fabulous for what it is, surprisingly very cheap compared to other brands with similar hair tools. I’m impressed!
It heats up quickly and doesn’t get too hot either. It hasn’t caused any damage to my hair when using it, but I always use a heat protector spray before using heated tools anyway, just to be on the safe side.
The cord is long enough to be able to reach easily to my styling mirror which is so super handy, because other hair tools I’ve used have had too short of a cord.
It arrives presented in a pretty branded box (with health seal) that makes it a great gift idea for a loved one too.
This hair curler heats up so quickly which is impressive and saves time in the morning before work. I have fine shoulder length hair and love the loose beach waves it creates. Great product for a good price, I can definitely recommend as I’ve tried more expensive like for like products and l can’t tell the difference! I do think however that it’ll be even easier with a better result on thicker and longer hair.
I have long, fine hair and wasn’t expecting much as stylers often start well and within half an hour the curls have dropped out completely. I used my usual styling products and some Pli spray before I applied the barrel. I was surprised that the beautiful mermaid waves lasted much longer than usual! By the end of the evening I was left with very gentle waves
The styler was large but handled well and wasn’t too heavy. It also looks really pretty in the rose gold. Price wise it was perfectly reasonable, I would recommend
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this curler! I’ve tried a good few of these over the years which have left me quite disappointed.
But this bad boy is the one to have! It does weigh a bit so keep that in mind when buying.
The ceramic plates are very sleek an glude through your hair. It also styles REMI extentions well and holds the curls brilliantly.
There is a digital plate in which you can alter your heat settings. Highest heat reaches 210 which is recommended for thicker hair.
The lead is also quite long so less chance if getting tangled up with swivel nozzle at the end.
The curler come packaged well with good instructions an advisory notes. The price was an overall bonus too. I would definitely recommended!
Amazing product, I have very thick hair and works fantastic and is still very quick to do all my hair!
It has adjustable temperature, a smooth clamp, and gets up to the desired temp in less than a minute. Fairly light to hold.
Gives a nice beachy look.
I would say this is for thicker and longer hair than mine – I wasn’t able to get a good grip with it and when it did – parts of my hair weren’t taken in as they were too wispy, or the plates are too wide and couldn’t grab them.
This is just they way all of these are designed and I use a smaller one now but if you’ve thicker and longer hair – definitely go for it.
This was used on dead straight hair and definitely gave mermaid waves, although a little heavy it was straightforward and easy to achieve the mermaid waves on the model I used, who has straight hair naturally.

I found this works better on longer hair the short as the barrel is quite thick, so abit harder to use on shoulder length hair.

Perfect as a gift or a treat to yourself gives you more of a wavy look then super curly.

Lily England’s 3 Barrel Mermaid Hair Waver does a pretty good job giving thicker naturally straight hair a wavy beach look, which when combined with some hair spray does hold pretty well throughout a day – though I’d be surprised if it’s as impactful for those with thinner hair.
The rose gold design is fantastic, it’s a pretty timeless design which makes the waver look pretty premium, though it does feel a bit plasticky in the hand.
It’s got a pretty decent amount of features for the asking price; it’s got adjustable temperature, gets to temperature in under a minute, cooling tips and a smooth clamp.
