They are little which I knew so didn’t have a lot of hope for brightness but they give off so much light! I’ve had sooooooo many solar lights and these are some of the best! And they’re super pretty!
I won’t be buying the normal stake ones that you stab into the ground again and will just buy more of these! Great to put on an outside table also when you have guests and want a nice ambient light in an evening.
It’s been raining so much this summer also and no water inside and all working well after3 months!

These little mason jar lights actually work! I have them on the window ledges in my house, scattered among the plant pots, they charge all day and shine all night giving a warm and cosy look. I also have them in my greenhouse and take several out to illuminate BBQ nights (they provide a lot of light to see actually) and provide a light and a cosy feeling when sitting out with a drink taking in the stars. The lights are reliable and last for years. I have not left them out in the rain so I can’t vouch for their weather resistance. I bought a pack as a gift for my mother and I have bought a total of three packs over the years for myself. If you are sending them as a gift for someone elderly, note that the solar wire inside the jars comes neatly wound in a circle and tied with a tie, so you need to screw the lid off and unwind the solar wire and feed it into the jar to have it spiralling around in a loose fashion. The company sent me a thank you voucher for a free pack if I would give a review but I didn’t use it, they deserve a good review and I went on to buy the third pack for myself without using the voucher. This is most definitely an uncompensated review, credit where it is due.
Definitely my favourite type of solar light, the glass jar ones tend to last longer than the plastic. They are very bright and easy to use. Just unscrew the lid, unravel the wire of lights and screw the lid back on. Great design and look classy. Recommend.
