These lights aren’t overwhelming but good enough to find the right key to unlock your door at nightly but they do have a really good range on the motion sensor . About 30f
I bought these on the off-chance along with the sticky pads as I’m useless with a drill. They are so easy to use it’s not true. The pads are super sticky and the lights themselves are incredibly bright. I would thoroughly recommend them.
Can’t speak highly enough of these lights and to think I stubbled across them by accident. These light do exactly what they are designed to do. Lights up my garden with amazing brightness.
I highly recommend them, you won’t be disappointed.
I was so surprised how bright these lights are. I purchased the cool white for my drive and the whole width is illuminated when the sensor is activated. I am very happy with them and will consider purchasing more
I bought these for the front of my house. I put them by the gate and in a dull corner. They worked really well from the first day. So good I got some for my dad and he put them on the pillars of his driveway. I also used heavy duty double sided sticky pads to stick a couple on the concrete fence posts. So far so good
Was a bit spectacle about these as solar light tend not to be as bright as stated, but oh was I wrong about these! I put 3 up and thought I give them a go one by back door one on my garage and the 3rd on my back gate, my whole garden is now illuminated like Blackpool tower I’ve put them on mode 3 sensor mode and work amazing, very happy no more tripping in the dark walking to the garage fantastic. A ++
Have brought quite a few of these lights as they are excellent bright and reliable
Fitted this to my side garden gat, where it’s a little dark. When the gate opens this light works very well. I would recommend it as we’re very happy with this purchase
Great very bright with different settings. See how long they las
Great lights easy to install. I have 3 that light up path down side of house so save on electric light. Lasted 2 years and needed to replace. Great produc
These lights are lovely and bright they are on my garden stairs and light up beautifully when it’s dark and stay bright for hours would definitely recommend
I expected a standby setting so the lights only come on when someone approaches. However the lights are on constantly at a dim setting when it gets dark and becomes brighter when approached.
Read the reviews on this product and decided to purchase four. Whilst they are not super bright, they are really good. We have set mode to automatically turn on when it gets dark. What makes them good quality is that all of the ones we purchased turn on more or less at the same time!
We have a long garden with a gate at the bottom. We’ve positioned these along the fence so that the light up as you walk up the garden. They are bright and the motion sensor works well. They also stay on for a sensible amount of time
These are perfect for our garden, we’ve ordered two lots and have them along our fence panels there great ! X
Easy to install and very bright on full setting. 3 brightness settings.
Work well so far small and neat. Been up a month with no issues
Great lights so easy to install !! I love that there are different settings on them too .
So bright and powerful. More than happy with these and would highly recommend. Have had them outside in all weather and no problems at all with rainwater.
A reasonable price and they do the job easily. Would buy agai
I have bought several of these lights and have found them an excellent purchase. They are sensitive enough, bright and long lasting. I just had one fail after at least three years of outside use, at a cost of 5 that’s good.
These lights are perfect if you need light around your home. We were so pleased with them we bought a second set. They look great on the walls quite decorative. May buy more yet as you can fit them anywhere.
This product is highly recommended as the light is too bright in my garden so I don’t need to buy any other electrical bulb. You can adjust the settings g of this solar garden light. It will turned on if someone will pass by, or you can put into steady setting. I will give 10 stars to this solar garden light.
Have these in my garden and, as long as they get sun give a good light whenever movement in the area.
For use round back of summerhouse which doesn’t get much sun. But “hey presto” as soon as darkness arrived and I went to see the light “Perfect” , loads of light for a small item. Weve got 8 of these round our garden and would always recommend them.
The lights arrived a day early, delivered to my local hub. They are in great condition and the instructions are simple. We had a good day of sunshine for their first day and they looked great last night, a cool gentle light, and the sensor picked us up from around 3 metres away. I think we will buy a couple more if these prove weather resistant.
I liked it very much because it lights the whole out side up as before it was very dark
Great solar lights, have used these before and they are easy to install and give off sufficient light in the evening
which light up our dark driveway.
Used these now for 14 months (8 units), only 1 failed, but later came back to life, it had suffered water ingress
I’ve bought these before so I knew what to expect. I Bought them to light up the remaining dark areas of my garden. Easy to install, fit and forget. Not overly bright but they stop me tripping up in the dark.
Good at the price.
We have steps leading through our garden down to our driveway at the back of the house which had no lighting on the property & no nearby street lighting so as you can imagine it was absolutely pitch black at night. We bought these with very little expectation thinking they’re a reasonable price & as long as they throw enough light to see the steps then we’re happy. Well, they have massively exceeded expectations………they’re very bright compared to some other solar powered lights (obviously they can’t be compared to mains powered floodlights!!) & after being fitted over a year ago they are still performing to exactly the same standard as when they were fitted. Also, it’s pretty cool that they turn on in sequence as you walk through the garden & then off again behind you 🙂
I have two of these lights: one at the front of the house and one at the back. Generally, I’ve been very happy with them, except for a weird fault. I wonder if anyone else has had this problem and, if so, whether they know what the cause is. I set them both on setting 3: no light unless motion is detected and then off again after 15 seconds of no motion detected. However, after a few days, the one at the back resets itself to setting 1: low light all the time but like 3 if it detects motion. I reset it to 3, but again it reverted to 1 after a few days. The one at the front of the house stayed on setting 3. I swapped the light locations to see if one of the lights was faulty. But then the one I had moved to the back exhibited the fault and the one I’d moved to the front started behaving itself. The one at the back was mounted high up on an east facing wall, so a step ladder was needed to reset it, so I think mischief can be ruled out.
I have many of these jotted around the garden and they seem to work very well.
I also have 2 mounted either side of the front door. They detect motion reasonably well.
Mount them at about 2 meters (6ft) high from the ground if possible, for the best effect.
Position them so that they pick up sunlight for most of the day. So they can charge up.
They automatically come on for about 20 second or so when it becomes dark enough.
I have mine set to mode 3 so they only come on when dark and motion is detected.
The light given out is good and will stay on all the time when movement is detected.
They are so easy to install (5 minutes) and only use 1 screw to hold them in place.
Ensure that you give them a good charge up in sunlight for at least 8hrs before you switch them on.
Well worth a try. The 4 pack gives the best value for money.
How long they will kept working for is just a case of wait and see.
Solar lights are now becoming a bit of an obsession for me now and this is the 4th pack of lights I have bought as they are great for the garden. I have bought different types for my mum and father in law as they provide some security or illumination but with no wiring, battery changes etc.
These lights have only one screw to fix them in position and are narrow enough to fix on a fence post. I have a couple on fence posts in the rear garden, one on the porch and one on the side of the shed. I also have an older set dotted around in different points around the garden so use these as comparison.
The lights work via motion and that is the setting I use so they are off until they detect movement. I believe this would make them the most efficient but there are two other settings to give you some illumination once it gets dark with the option of motion detection as well but I prefer them more for security so motion alone is good enough for me.
The colour of these is more towards a cold white / blue light whereas my others are a bit warmer. Not a problem except that obviously where they are next to each other, there is a noticeable difference but not for me to be bothered.
The main difference I notice when comparing the 2 is that my older lights seem brighter despite them having less LED’s. This is not a criticism of the new lights as such as the brightness is adequate but if like me you have seen a lot of solar lights advertised you will see they all advertise how many led’s they have. I am now dubious as to how much attention I will really pay to that as ultimately these can’t compete with a big mains powered security light but then they are not designed to.
These also only went up recently so will update how they last. My others have done nearly a year so far and are doing fine.
As a cost effective lighting addition to give some basic lighting to gardens and entry ways I think these are brilliant and if the price of these seems good then go for it (I paid 20 for the 4) but as mentioned don’t be swayed by the number of LED’s.
