A present for a young boy who loves anything that flies.

Ideal starter ‘pack’ for children (12ish), easy to assemble and get operational. Better indoors as it is very light and the size of a male hand. It gets easily buffeted outside. Great fun and enjoyment and therefore excellent value.

So yeh it’s tiny but that’s kinda the cool thing about it, it’s great for flying around the house.
No the base model the cheapest one doesn’t have a camera but what would you expect for the price?
It does say on the box it has one but I’ll assume they have more expensive models wih cameras and they just use the same packaging and manuals.

It is a bit tricky to fly but I’ve flown all sorts of drones, helicopters and RC planes so got to grips pretty quickly.

My advice would be start off slow trying to hover and keep it in one place, use of the trim buttons if it’s drifting and soon enough you’ll have it hovering on its own.

Kids will definitely crash it, to be honest so will adults so be aware of that.
The flip tricks are really good but it does tend to want to fly upwards straight after a flip so get ready to bring it back down.

All in all a very cool little drone for the price, really fun to play with absolutely love it.
Ignore the complaints as most of them either didn’t read the description correctly or the instructions on how to set the trimming.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersDrone was well packed, nice to to look at but upon opening & starting it up it flew to one side.but trimming it properly it still did same. Contacted DRC who through various tests and settings found out that the drone output motor was faulty so had to send back. But I must admit that Amazon customer support was really helpful I have sent the drone back. I would say a good little drone but it maybe a little difficult for children to use. I won’t buy again but every customer is different as I always do please read the reviews as majority are very accurate.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersA great little product. My husband was over the moon with it, unfortunately he was unable to control it well and it disappeared over into our neighbours messy garden. He has been in to look for it and cannot find it at all. He is quite devastated as he had been getting used to using it and it was a surprise Christmas gift from his 10 year old daughter.

It’s an easy enough drone but you have to adjust the drone so it sits still ish in the air it would be good if it could store these settings so you don’t have to do it every time you put a new battery in the drone but other than that it’s ok so fa

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersNot sure what I was expecting but was surprised to see how small it was. However the kids did not take long to master it – still have more to do but getting it to ‘fly’ where you want it to is a great achievement. It is quite noisy but that is to be expected However we did not expect so much wind from it – it can really blow a gale as it goes up.

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our Usersi feel a bit mislead, the drone in the pictures looked so much bigger then when i took it out the box it was minuscule!! i thought it would be the size of a piece of paper at least!! but it was only the size of a 5 note!!! i am shocked and disappointed as i thought it would be bigger and as it is so small it will be so easy to lose outside or inside as our house is very messy.
i see now i have reviewed the listing the sizes are available but at the end of the day who has a ruler to hand when ordering christmas presents.

at the end of the day, we have both had a misunderstanding as i did NOT see the size up front it was hidden in the secret description area to make me purchase i feel like i should be reimbursed

4.0 out of 5 stars ITS TINY

    I love this little Drone.

It’s not the most stable thing but for the money it’s good fun and surprisingly resilient.

I only use it indoors and zooming around the house. Wouldn’t trust it outside.

Headless mode makes it easy to control. The three speeds can get pretty zoomy! And the flip function is pretty cool.

Three batteries give plenty of flying time.

    Great fun and highly recommended.

Can be tricky to control if you’re not used to drones, gaming, flying.

Mint takes abit get used too but when you get the hang of it ur all good it’s also very rapid! Ladies if you have long hair i suggest you tie it up! Or else expsect a bald patch. Only thing I can say is a negative is when you charge the battery it doesnt last long about 10 to 15 mins so I suggest a battery upgrade other than that well worth the dolla thank you x

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersWorked great for one week: easy to learn, controllable, and very good fun. It didn’t even break in the inevitable learned crashes.

Until: today. Pressed the take off button. It took off, climbed, and never stopped climbing until it was out of sight and well lost. Such a shame to lose a favourite Christmas gift that way!

Perhaps stick to indoors flying with this one.

Edit: Amazingly, a neighbour found it about 300m from it’s take off location and returned it to us. It appears to have landed automatically when out of rance of the controller. I’ve given it 4 stars because of this.

A truly remarkable ‘toy’ at the price.

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersI’ve got a large hobby class drone but I have not been able to use it much due to the poor weather (west coast of Scotland) so I bought this drone as a bit of a “punt” in the hope that I could fly it indoors and build up my drone control skills. I wasn’t expecting much for the cost but I have found this tiny drone to be an absolute delight to fly indoors and even outdoors (when there is no wind). The three batteries give you plenty of flying time and the propellor guards work well when I’ve cocked it up! Wish I had spent a little more and bought the version with the camera! Highly recommended, for kids and big kids!

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersVery easy to set up and start to use, but lots of options to master once you know the basics. Although small and delicate-looking, it is a robust little thing! My children’s poor piloting skills have really put it to the test and it is still in one piece after a week of their abuse! The portability is great – it folds up small and goes into the controller itself to give it protection. Battery life is good for the size and it comes with 2 spares (3 batteries in total) so one can always be on charge. Both me and my children love it and so far we are very pleased with it.
