It’s a good laptop for email, web browsing and online shopping. It’s light and responds quickly. I had no problem activating office free for 12 months. It’s probably not suitable for heavy users who want to run multiple programmes but it’s more than adequate for what I need. Initially everything was good but after running a windows update I started having a few issues with web pages not loading and other minor niggles. I’m not very techy but after reading a few possible fixes I decided to exit windows 11s for windows 11 and after making the change everything is good again. I understand changing from 11s to 11 is one way and I can’t go back but for me it’s not a problem. I often see the laptop advertised for 400 or more but I got it for 300 which seems very good value for money.
for a small, ‘budget’ laptop this is a surprisingly good machine. Decent performance with W11, lots of ports and very portable. Recommended.
Love the cute pink colour and I can do what I need to do on this (emails and word processing) quickly. Great purchase.
I bought one of these to take on a US business road trip where it would sometimes end up in the SUV boot. I needed a cheap substitute for my top end MacBook Pro. I managed to get a Swift 1 at a heavily discounted price. In essence my primary need was to connect online to my employer’s system. As the Swift 1 uses Wi-Fi 6 it was brilliant as a ‘dummy’ keyboard and screen.
Build quality is excellent being aluminium. The keyboard is very good and backlit. I use it with a second screen a 15.6 inch one from Asus from Amazon also a bargain. As a portable mini corporate system the Acer and Asus combo is excellent.
This little notebook has everything its taking me awhile to get around i
