Love the smell of it, great value for money and my hair seems to grow faste
My husband loves this shampoo he’s said it leaves his hair soft and when he brushes it it don’t fall out as much
My go to shampoo – used it for years. It’s relatively expensive but purchased like this is a great saving
I say seems to work as after six months use my wife tells me my hair is getting thicker. I am also taking Biotin tablets as well. So it could be the combination that is doing the trick. Just be patient!
I was completely bald when I started using this product but now I could pass for a Wookiee.
But seriously, who knows? I do like this shampoo though. It cleans my hair and doesn’t smell. Tick and tick. My hair isn’t too flyaway afterwards, which happens with some shampoos. It comes in big bottles which last quite a long time and it’s easy to open in the shower. Lathers well.
I recommend to all people, especially to women who are losing their hair, this treatment is very good, since my wife has been using it, she has no more problems with hair loss
I’m a woman with long black hair. I have been suffering with psoriasis for a couple of years and while the medicated shampoo worked for a while, it’s not doing anything anymore. I read somewhere that Alpecin could help so I bought it. Not only has it dramatically reduced the itching and visible dandruff, it leaves my hair incredibly shiny. I am blown away. The shampoo doesn’t have the usual silicon you’d find in shampoos for long hair, so I do use a good conditioner to counter the hard feeling after rinsing. I use the shampoo twice weekly and unless it stops working, I won’t be changing!
was fairly hesitant with these sort of products but could feel my hair thinking at the back, I saw what my older brother has now and wanted to act fast. I found this and after a few months I can start to feel some good results and my girlfriend has mentioned it as well. I’m fairly young and game a lot with a headset which I think sped up the thinning in that spot. Would recommend to anyone at any age just to keep their hair in better conditio
Am I being a mug for the advertising? Probably. I use it as directed but do I really notice any difference to any other shampoo and, if I do, is it psychological and wishful thinking? I think it may be doing something to strengthen the hair but obviously it is not going to create new growth or even prevent hair loss. Either way, I don’t have that much hair to worry about so the higher price is offset to a large degree by my feeling that I am doing the best that I can and that a bottle will last a long time. As for the scent …. I have never noticed, so I guess that’s a good thing.
The best shampoo for what it says on the label..cheaper brands don’t come close.
If you can get pass the funny smell (luckily this smell goes after 10-20 min after wash), does the rest as advertised for me, lessens (not stop) hair loss additionally easier to comb somehow
Many people have asked me what is the best shampoo for hair growth or just for getting quality hair (for hair care)? After years of trial and error, testing shampoos, serums, creams for hair. This is my success story review on what has worked (with alpecin shampoo) – and i realized, just a shampoo alone is not enough for improving hair growth, whilst the alpecin shampoo helped me, i still did the following regime to make it even more effective – as you must cover all angels to get really good results, like nutrition, hormone balance, circulation, inflammation and hair growth stimulation – the regime below covers all that:
1. Used a Fragrance Free shampoo for hair on other days I dont use Alpecin shampoo. (I use alpecin 1x a week now).
2. Applying the Taoist soap for hair growh 2x a week (on days I don’t use above 2). Yes its a soap bar made for the scalp and hair – as well as skin – you don’t need to apply to whole hair, just the scalp areas and only for 30 seconds.
3. Scalp Massage everyday for 20-30 mins – must be daily – and do it on the whole head, including neck.
4. Nettle tea 1x a day, for removing hormone residue in the liver. Otherwise body thinks hormones are imbalanced, so this step helps boost a lot.
5. Collagen powder 2x a day for boosting essential nurtition needed for hair.
6. cold water rinse of my scalp region after a shower – make sure its just the top part of the scalp/head – not the back of the head, which i believe shouldn’t get too much cold water as you might get a cold.
The above regime has worked on my male friends as well as female friends quiet well. of course i am not a doctor, i just built this regime over the past 5 years of trial and error. Do ask your doctor if the above is suitable for you before trying, as each person is different. hope this helps give my 2 cents to the world.
Having been a head and shoulders man for the most part, I fancied a change and gave this a chance. It claims to prevent hair loss but how effective it is must be quite hard to quantify, i still have all my hair but i can’t attribute that to the shampoo. Unlike head and shoulders it left my hair feeling less greasy and in better condition but I imagine different skin/hair types may get different results. The scent is quite fresh and masculine but not as fun as H&S Apple. As far as I can tell, it does what other shampoos do but for a higher price. I’d definitely pick some up again but only if I saw an offer.
