While this cover will be of most use during the off season, this AmazonBasics patio cover is efficiently designed for everyday use. The furniture cover slips on easily and provides loop handles for easy adjusting or removal. The cover also comes equipped with click-close straps that snap securely around the furniture to keep the cover in place.

We bought this in order not to have to store sofa cushions elsewhere. But the reality is, we now have to store the cover elsewhere instead, when the sofa is in use! (Didn’t think that through! )
We will use the cover in the winter as it is sturdy and probably rainproof enough for plastic rattan, but wouldn’t risk leaving cushions out under it for 6 months.
My title says it all – I really am most impressed with these covers. I actually bought them last year but for various reasons never actually got round to using them until this year, when I bought some nice new outdoor furniture in time for a family get together.
Unfortunately, the heavens opened thereafter and it rained every day since – luckily I had these amazing covers on hand to keep the furniture dry and what a good job they did. The covers are slightly too big so I had a couple of saggy places where the water pooled but even there never once did anything pass through. I was impressed with the quality when I got the covers out but after all that rain, my estimation has gone even higher!
There are pull cords at the bottom and little clicky fasteners so you can attach the corners to the legs of the furniture and there are ventilation flaps so you don’t save your furniture from rain only to get nasty condensation building up underneath. As I said, I’ve not actually been using them for that long and if they fall to bits after the first winter (like an extremely expensive Canadian brand once did) I’ll be sure to come back and update this review but so far, I think these covers are brilliant and would most definitely recommend. I doubt I’ll ever buy another brand and I’m just about to buy a cover for my table.
Just cannot believe the quality for this price. Material is super thick. Waiting for it to rain to assess how waterproof this is but from the look and feel of it I cannot forsee any problems. It even has several pockets on the side! I would most certainly recommend this.
Great quality and price especially as there are two in a pack. Very secure clip fastenings has stayed on the chair despite all these recent strong winds. Really like the fact it is cream in colour as well.

Fab – been through the rain and wind and never budged! Thick material and perfect for my Asda outdoor sofa! Better than the ones I looked at in the garden centres for twice the price!
I thought this cover may have been too big, but it’s just perfect for our 2 seater sofa. We have used it for the past few weeks and it has kept our furniture dry, through all the rain. I love the fact it has clips at each corner to secure it, especially as we seem to have a lot of wind here, and they have stayed put. Well worth the money. Thick material, and the rain rolls off it.
Arrived in less than 24 hrs. Great size larger than expected. Rain just runs off. Easy to put on and off. Very strong material and well made. Delighted! Cover large rocking rattan reclining chairs lovely !

They appear to be sturdy and well designed. In the SE we usually end up more often with rain than snow, though once Beasts from the East and April Showers are done, we’ll have seen how well they work
Great quality but a little too big for my chairs, they sell many sizes so double check all the sizes of your chair and these are on the generious size so bare that in mind.
