The connecting pieces work well, but the screw turn setting dial is very choppy. The screw driver is on the small side but thats good for me because i have to get in small spaces to the screw at times. The screw pieces are solid but they fall out of the case.

i have this about the house as a quick go to screwdriver set for jobs when i cant be bothered to go to garage for my ‘proper ‘ toolkit.

better value than the alternatives
I wanted to expand my tool collection and thought this killed a few birds with one stone. Ratchet screwdriver…check, reasonably sized handle… check, varying hex head and sockets…check. It all comes in a tidy little case to keep it all togethe
I’ve not had a ratchet screw driver before and I have found the ability to use the ratchet feature in awkward paces very useful. I have also like the ability to have a short or long shaft on the screwdriver very useful. Who doesn’t like the ability to change the blade to fit different heads. I can’t compare with other sets but as a novice user I have been really pleased with it.
Arrived on time. Great ratchet operation, Very handy set to have. Reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the magnet is not that strong, will only pick up very small screws.

Supplied in a nice case this set supplies just about every size screw bit you’ll need around the home.
The handle is soft touch and ratcheted for quick use.
Everything’s clearly labelled and the supplied driver bits don’t feel like cheap metal that will bend first time you get a stubborn screw.
Yet again, I cannot find any pricing on this, so 4* for the meantime.

This is a good quality screwdriver set. contains 41 piece, pretty much everything I will need.
It comes in a very nice box for all the components, very well packed, easy to carry and store.
A great little set that fits well into any tool box and just as well in the boot of the car if need be. Its small in size but the tools are all well made and do a good job. Used this to replace a few things and the alternative sizes have been good when some idiot had decided to thread a load of screws just to make the job more difficult. Fits away nicely in the little box it comes in so you are not going to lose any. No complaints at all I think this is a very good price.
This AmazonBasics Ratchet Screwdriver Set arrives in a sturdy hinged storage box about the size of a paperback book. In the box you get a ratchet screwdriver handle; a screwdriver shaft; a socket fitment; a wide assortment of screwdriver bits – straight-edged; Philips; Torx etc. and a modest selection of 6 sockets. The holder for the screwdriver bits hinges upwards making selection easy.
The overall look and feel are one of a reasonable quality suitable for an average DIY person. The handle which has rubberised grip panels feels robust and the ratchet action is reversible. The end of the handle also unscrews and provides storage for 4 or 5 of the most commonly used bits.
The fit/hardness of both the bits and sockets is good and I used the set to assemble a showcase without difficulty. The screwdriver bits and sockets seem well-chosen in terms of type and size and their robust chrome finish suggests they’ll last a while. You could also use the screwdriver bits with an electric screwdriver handle if you wish – they fit my Bosch perfectly.
This is a handy set to have in the house or car as it will enable you to tackle a wide range of tasks and being from the Amazon Basics stable is likely to represent a good price/quality ratio.
