I had Salter scales before which I’d bought because it took AAA(x4) batteries but it was always running out of charge because it had a useless clock. Love the simplicity of this product, focusses on its purpose.
I have compared these scales to much more expensive scales from Salter and they agree to a gram or so. I use the scales every day and they are just excellent reliable and accurate scales.
These are a great set of scales. Accurate and great value for money these weighing scales are highly recommended. I use them for the kitchen and also for weighing things i need to take to the post office
I wasn’t expecting anything too grand from Amazon basics, but I’m delighted to report that I was wrong. These scales are the biz and well worth the money. I do a lot of baking and the missus does a lot of eBaying so these scales are ideal for both of us.

Really happy with these scales. I like that the platform is raised from the display so it’s easy to add/remove (tare) ingredients and easily see the weight.
Got this to measure packages for posting. It’s simple to use and the accuracy matches the scales at the post office. Mild annoying thing is that turns of automatically which I understand helps battery life, but it would be nice to be able to change the time after which it turns off.
Otherwise, given the price and the ease of use, I’d highly recommend this!
The switches are sensibly positioned, tare works well, the screen is visible when a bowl is on it. They are so much easier to use than the expensive ones they replaced. Even if they do not last as long I can buy another set and still wont have spent brand name money

Great product at a great price
Not as easy to see as my old Salter platform type (which have been discontinued and now Salter – across all ranges – seems quality control is lacking), these are certainly good enough and very easy to use, quick to change measurement value etc.
This is simple to use and a great scale. It’s small enough, but the front bit allows you to see measurements clearly and you can’t accidentially turn it off like I did with my previous one just by putting something on.
I needed a scale that has tare option as well as an option to measure into negative figures, so I know how much stuff I have takes out of something.

Good quality, bigger than I envisioned. I expected it to measure in 0.1 gram increments, but it doesn’t. My fault for not checking.
Cheap and reliable for what you need. Looks fantastic, however, don’t know how long it may last quality-wise. For the price, it does exactly what you need, and it’s a great purchase.
Only thing is you can’t clean it even a damp cloth. The humidity will get into the screen and break it. I broke one already. Tried buying a different scale, which was very inaccurate, so just bought another one of these. It’s so accurate. Only It’s quite sensitive. So make sure to put a plastic around it to prevent getting the scale dirty and you’re fine!
I am now re-ordering the same product, since the last one’s screen malfunctioned after I used it with dripping wet hands, and water has gotten into the LCD display. I’ve tried prising the thing open so it could dry, but it has not fixed the problem. I can see that I broke the scales, so I am ordering the same product. The original batteries were still in there, so it is pretty electrically efficient.
