Purchased this from my new laptop I’d have to purchase in it. I am really happy with it. It is well worth the money even as it’s Amazon basics one. It’s still well worth the money and it keeps my laptop safe.
I swear by these cheap cases… They’re just great for the money!
They offer good protection and impact resistance. They look better in blue than black in my opinion.
Be warned… They are cat hair magnets. Keep them away from feline friends!
If you want a sleeve that you take a laptop out of/put it back in every day, without taking the sleeve itself out of a bag to do this, then look for one where the zip goes farther down one side. This sleeve only really opens along one edge and requires that whole edge to be clear for you to insert/remove the device.
Amazing laptop sleeve case. Not only that enters very well my macbook pro in it, but there is space to fit my notepad and pen inside also. Really soft to touch and sturdy enough. Great case to protect your laptop while travelling! Recommend.
Fits the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, good width with a tiny amount space on the sides but about an inch of free space on top, I’d be interested in trying the 13.3 inch screen size sleeve to see if it is a tighter, more secure fit. Otherwise it feels like good material and sufficiently thick to do the job.
I looked at various covers but chose this based on reading the previous reviews. Well I can tell you that this is fantastic value for money and is very good quality. It is very well made and robust. Don’t bother paying double or triple the amount as this is going to adequately care for your laptop. What you have to remember is that Amazon aren’t going to put their name to anything that is rubbish and poorly made so don’t hesitate to press the buy button on this!
Bought this for my Honor Magicbook Book 14 and it fits quite well. Can’t comment on durability as I’ve had it just a few days but seems ok, has a nice soft feel. I have a cover on my laptop so wasn’t looking for anything fancy and so far I’m quite satisfied with this product.
Bought it to simply provide extra protection in my bag as I have an expensive laptop. It does the job well, I have a 14 inch laptop and it is a little baggy, doesnt bother me though as its only there to stop scratches and damage. It does look a little cheap and the Amazon branding is about as subtle as those diadora tracksuits from the 90s, materials feel fine but I wouldnt use this solely to carry my laptop around as it doesnt look nice and it could feel more premium. That being said thats not what I bought it for and I am very happy with my purchase and the price!
I saved a small amount by purchasing this ‘as new’ from Amazon Warehouse. Indeed, it arrived next day and even the packaging was pristine. The case is a snug fit, lightweight and offers reasonable protection for the notebook when I’m on my travels. I usually put the sleeve (with PC inside) into my rucksack and all fits comfortably.
So, for the price, this is an excellent sleeve that meets my needs more than adequately. I also saved a fortune over rip-off high street prices! I am rather chuffed…..
I initially ordered the 13.3 inch case because I measured my laptop as 13.3 inch, but it was ever so slightly too small, so I realised that you need to order a case slightly bigger than the laptop, so I’ve got the 14 inch now and it’s absolutely fine. Really happy with it because it was so much cheaper than others available but it’s a nice material, padded and protective. I bought it for storing my laptop in while carrying it in other bags to stop it from getting damaged.
I’ve had a feel of these other cases, tried it with my laptop and then compared it with this AmazonBasics Laptop Sleeve that I purchased for half the price. And I prefer the AmazonBasics one by a mile.
It’s a much nicer material. It’s more flexible and easier to get your laptop in and out of. The only thing it’s lacking is an outside pocket, but overall for the price you pay for this laptop sleeve, it’s an obvious choice to protect your laptop.
Save yourself the money on the expensive brands and grab this for a fraction of the price to do the job just fine.
These seem to do the job nicely, the laptops are a nice snug fit and the foam within the sides feels a decent thickness compared to the others I have seen but isn’t too thick. Fast delivery and well packaged as usual, overall I think they are well worth the extra money over the eBay versions yet still cheap compared to some sleeves you can buy, especially manufacturer branded ones.
14″ sleeve purchased for an HP Chromebook 14 G3.
Sleeve was well made and of good quality and has a sturdy zip.
It is a little tight on the corners though, so it is something I will not be using much as there is very little surplus room in the sleeve. It is sufficiently tight that my very small chromebook would have had its corners gouged by the back of the zip as it went by. If you close the sleeve carefully by stretching the sleeve at each corner when using the zip then you can pull the zip clear of the laptop and avoid these corner scratches.
This sleeve will not protect your laptop much if it is dropped, think of it more as a soft neoprene-type anti-scratch cover/sleeve. In that latter role it excels and is ideal for carrying around the office from meeting to meeting, but for travel I’d go for something a little more robust which has room for power leads etc, which this sleeve does not.
The sleeve in no way feels cheap and has a simple design of pure black with a “Amazon Basics” logo left-hand corner; as I am sure you can see from the image. The sleeve feels quite thick and does not leave me feeling concerned when I shove it in my backpack after class with my laptop inside. I had been using my laptop unprotected previously and noticed it was taking a good amount of denting and scraping around the sides as it bashed into things in my backpack but this has since completely ceased when using this product. While I doubt it would provide complete impact protection it certainly does it’s bit to reduce the occasional bump and bang.
Being black in colour it does tend to get slightly dirty (mostly fixable by a quick dust down) however, I am sure it would hold up being thrown in the washing machine on a low heat – washing instructions however, are not included on the tag inside the product.
Overall, this does exactly what a foam laptop/ tablet sleeve should do. It protects from scratches and scrapes as well as providing a cushion for bumps and bangs. All while being inexpensive.
