Certo non un top di gamma…. Ma valida per il prezzo davvero basso. Fa tagli di precisione con la dentatura a passo fine. Non so ancora quanto durer l’affilatura. Ma ha persino una lama di scorta. Per questo prezzo direi che vale
Esta muy bien para quienes hacemos proyectos de fin de semana, para alguien que se dedica a la carpinteria creo que necesitara algo mejor.
Good size and weight. Not quite sure I see the point of the second (smaller) blade but I’m sure it’ll come in handy
i’ve been using this for a few days and its safe to say its great value for money, the handle is sturdy and locks well to the blade and the teeth are holding up well and don,t snag on the cut. overall i’m pretty happy and ill update this review if i need to in the future.
Expected to be blown away by the pulling, not pushing revolution but it’s just another saw. Not bad though
Let’s face facts and good ones for that matter, Amazon basics is anything but basic always a good step up from back there and this is no exception a great quality Japanese style saw and works really well. So well done Amazon not so basics
Yes, it has a plastic handle making it look funny and not “traditional” but it’s a solid handle with the same style grip as the others. The two blades make it worth the investment (being lower than others with one blade).
If the idea of switching blades bothers you, simply make a handle for the free blade. You can do this with a stick, this saw and one binding post screw and bolt set.
The internal nut *is* aluminum so don’t crank the knob down but I’ve not had any issues with my blade slipping or wobbling. If you do strip the nut, you can easily replace it with a binding post nut.
Worth it just for the two blades.
Perfect working tool. Little bigger than I thought it would be, but just fine
Came with the handle, a locking knob and two blades nicely packaged. Inserting one blade and tightening the knob all the way does not lock the blade in place; it just slips out. Had only a split locking washer with the right size and thickness at hand which fitted exactly in the hole in the handle. This alone would hold the blade in place, even without inserting the locking nut. The washer was NOT part of the package. I had to flatten the split washer, though, because it would make the locking knob very hard to remove. That solved the issue. In any case, the washer was missing from the package and, by the way, the additional smaller hole at the top of the saw blade(s) serves no purpose at all. Looks good now, but can’t give it five stars, obviously.
Finalement je n’ai pas eu besoin de l’utiliser, mais semble de bonne qualit.
Bon aspect esthtique
I haven’t had much use out of this yet but on the sample I tried it with it worked very well. Will use it again when the weather warms up a bit more.
Wanted a Japanese saw for a while and decided to take the plunge.
This is just the ticket and will compliment my collection of hand and power saws magnificently.
Just need to save up for some wood now.
Regards
ER
The two parts are very easy to connect and disconnect. I have assembled, used, disassembled and put away a number of times now and there is no play or give in the connection.
Blade is thin enough for fine work but thick enough to not bow / flex under force of cutting.
I have made a fair number of cuts on hardwood, plywood, chipboard and MDF and the teeth are a sharp as new.
Got them for a Victorian style door to cut the ridges out for a cat flap and it worked perfectly
