With our delightful children having lost another Prime remote my OH and I had hung out getting another replacement as we could Watch on our tablets.
Anyway we brought our third one and it arrived the next day only for two days later to find one of them! That is hidden up from the little cherubs.
Now if only we could find the television remote which seems to have gone walkies since
Moral of my story. Don’t have children or never tell them you have Prime so they don’t ever get the chance to get their paws on the remote
Tip on paring, give it time, and a restart as only half the buttons worked first time
Well after reseaching the correct Fire stick remote. From my old trodden on remote , on the side is the model number etc.
I found this one, exactly the same. Received a fast delivery & the set up was easy peasy. Details were with the new remote too.

The instructions that came with the product didn’t work so I just went with the settings on the fire stick via pairing and it worked.

I have had a fire stick since they were introduced, and in 2020 replaced with an HD version, which works fine, alas i managed to break the battery cover, and try as i have i was unable to fix the corner lugs. So i thought tie to treat myself. This fitted the bill, and was a cinch to set up. All buttons work, and it seems to respond quicker as well, so feels like a win win. Good value for a heavily used piece of kit.
Ordered to replace the previous remote that had ceased to work due to batteries decaying and releasing acid. Replacement arrived quickly, but without batteries, though the product said batteries were included. Fortunately, had some new batteries available and remote re-synced with Amazon Fire and my JVC TV without problems.
The only reason I have given four stars instead of five is that the Firestick somehow became unpaired from the remote and after trying numerous times to re-pair it following Amazon instructions, I gave up.
But it now seems to have decided to work again, so probably didn’t need it.
Never mind, it’s good to have a spare and the price was very reasonable.
