This works ok, I haven’t compared accuracy, but its good enough for me.
Its helping me track my exercise progress in a clear and simple way.
Simple to use, easy to use app, I would recommend this for anyone looking to track inches.
What I liked most about this tape measure:
It is very easy to use — simply click in place and push the button
It is very accurate
It has a memory function
It has an optional downloadable app to keep a record of progress
Don’t have to reroll the tape measure when done! It retracts with the push of a button.
This tape measure was a little tricky when I first used it, because you do have to hold it at a specific angle to get the tape measure to retract as much as it can when measuring. But once you get the hang of it, it is super easy to use. You can see the number while the measure is still attached, or push the unlock button to remove the tape measure and see the numbers.
This tape measure makes keeping track of (hopefully) shrinking numbers a lot easier, and helps me be more accurate. I am happy with this tape measure.
I already use a couple of other Arboleaf products and have found them to be very good, and far better than products from similar manufacturers. I’m using this tape to complement the Arboleaf bodyfat scales that I have, and generally it works well. I like that it is accurate, and once you know how to use it it’s fairly easy and quick.
It must be used with the Arboleaf app to get the best from it (like the scales), and the measurements are then easily saved so that you can track over time. Setting up was a little more of a faff than I’d expected, but within minutes I’d installed the suppled CR2032 battery and managed to link it to my phone with Bluetooth. It has proven to be a useful tool for monitoring my body shape, and I’m pleased that I have it to use.
In the past my wife has always asked me “am I loosing weight” , “do I look fat in this” and so on, lol but this would make me a little uncomfortable as it didn’t really matter much what I said I would pretty much always say the wrong thing, typical male, lol.
On opening, this tape measure looks very nicely made with clean lines and an easy to read screen. This can be used as a stand alone device but it really comes into its own when the free app is added to a smart device at which time it will record measurements and keep a record of them, this way it is simple to see how any diet or weight loss is progressing without relying on the other people in the household.
The app has many preset parts of the body to be measured which when put together can show body fat, retention and much more, taking the guess work out of any body improvements we might be trying to make.
Using the actual tape measure did take a little getting used to but it is now very easy to get accurate measurements on any body part and these can be done alone thanks to a clever little clip that the tape gets attached to during the measuring.
All that needs to be done is to pull some tape out from the reel and loop it around which ever part that needs to be measured, the tape then gets clipped into the small bracket on the device and once secured a quick press of a button will allow the tape to automatically pull tight giving the correct reading.
Within the app, several profiles can be setup so my wife and I both have our own and any measurements that we take get placed into our own profiles making it easy to keep a full record and to see what helps with (in our own case) weight loss and body tone.
This is so much easier and vastly more accurate than trying to use a conventional tape measure especially when doing it alone. My wife can now even check her bra size without help which certainly makes my life easier and I no longer dig myself a large hole every time I’m asked “does this make me look fat”, lol.

I downloaded the app and unlike many smart devices, this paired immediately. So easy to set up. The battery is a bit of a fiddle to get in. It takes a bit of practice to get the tape retracting to the tightest bit.
It saves all your measurements and your weight if you wish it to. I don’t like getting obsessed with scales so I’m happy to just use my measurements to track progress.
All in all, it’s a handy little gadge
Using scales has always been a good way to measure overall body weight & keep track of your health, but taking body measurements is just as important as using the scales.
I noticed this first hand a few years ago after losing 2stone however when i started doing weight training i actually started to gain weight again even though i was exercising more, eating healthier & staying within my calories.
If it wasn’t taking my measurements i could of lost my motivation & effected my progress.
But thanks to me tracking the measurements i could see my waist getting smaller while other things like chest & biceps were getting bigger.
This tape measure from arboleaf just takes that to the next level as this tape makes it so much more easier to get all your measurements compared to a conventional tape measure.
Thanks to its design you can unreal some of the tape wrap it around the body part you want to measure then lock the end in place & retract, your measurement will then pop on the screen.
However to make it even better arboleaf has its own companion app so all your measurements can be stored within the app so it allows you to monitor & track your progress over multiple weeks, months or even years.
The tape & app are all pretty straight forward to use & get set up.
The tape even comes with a battery so its ready to go straight out the box.
Overall been pretty happy with this tape measure so far.
It’s currently priced at 27.99 at the time of writing which is a lot more than a standard tape measure however i feel that this device & the app is is worth the extra cost as it makes it so much quicker & easier compared to a regular tape.
Plus i like that i can track all my measurements within the app verses me having to write it all down.
Automatically uploads measurements to the app and stores them, really cool for measuring weight loss, thinking of getting the weighi h scales to match so it’s all recorded in the same place

I’ve been using this body tape measure for a bit now, and I must say it’s quite an innovative way to track my progress in the fitness world. The Bluetooth connectivity and smart app make it easy to record measurements without any hassle, while the locking mechanism ensures accurate readings every time. It’s not perfect – sometimes the app can be a tad finicky – but overall, it’s a handy tool that has made keeping tabs on my progress much more enjoyable.
Well it works , easy to follow instructions with a extra easy app to use. I would recommend getting a friend /partner to help out with some of the measurements as I found it very awkward to measure one handed then having to plug in the measuring tape. Only goes one way in. However very accurate and quick to be added to the app.
This is a great smart tape measure that we are now using for the whole family. Within the app both myself, my partner and our kids are setup. For myself and my partner we are doing a great job of tracking our inability to lose weight, but for the kids its a perfect way to keep track on their growth but also somewhere handy to keep measurements for when you need to buy them clothes and not sure on fit.
The device itself is very easy to use and can quickly be swapped between metric and imperial units. The battery I am sure will last for a very long time, and the screen is easy to read. The only slight issue is there is a place on the tape measure for a wrist strap, but I am not sure if mine was missing the actual strap or just an oversight by the manufacturer as I did not see a mention of one anywhere on the box or instructions.
I love this tape. Super easy to use and records the numbers on its own with your phone, you don’t have to type them in. Simply pair the app to the tape which takes seconds. Press the record button on the app to see a picture of a person with markers showing where you want to measure. Tap each one then open the tape, once at the correct length simply press the M button on the tape and the current length is recorded on the phone. It’s so easy and very accurate too. The end of the tape measure pushes into tape for storing and is released by the button underneath so keeps every neatly together. The retract button allows any tape you’ve pulled out to automatically coil back up so it’s easy to put away or reduce the length of your measurements. Good quality and good value for money. I really love this thing.
This is a nice little device that will help to keep a check on problem areas and where you might start to get out of shape.
The app allows for multiple users to be added once a single account has been registered.
The way I have been using it:
Select a limb on the app, a green line shows where the measurement should be made. Pull the tape out and around a limb, then click it into the ‘lock’ part of the device. Press the R button to recall the tape, until it is close around the limb. The result should then show in the app. Press the record button and then move on to the next reading. You don’t need to record everything if you don’t want to, but there are at least 12 different places to measure.
The app can then display some ratios between the parts, and suggested ‘bands’ within which your ratio should lie.
The only thing this doesn’t do is height really.

It has really good option which I really like: a retractable easy-lock hook, you just need to click the R button and the tape measure can be quickly tightened around the desired area.

I was skeptical as I am not a gadget person, however this works easily and I am very happy with it. Only complaint is the instruction booklet… it’s very limited, so take your time with familiarizing yourself with the device and you should be fine.
The days of simply measuring height and weight are long gone – everybody’s into body metrics these days – BMI, and all that stuff.
Which is ironic given that, in the UK at least, obesity is on the increase, with mostly avoidable Type 2 diabetes – and complications arising therefrom – costing the NHS billions to treat every year.
This gadget – together with the app – helps keep a handle on these things, accurately identifying where measurements need to be reduced (except height – never height!), and helping to chart your progress towards this.
A handy gadget that works well
Works really well, great to measuring aspects of your body for weight control and health. The app is easy to use and quite intuitive. You can use this for measuring anything really but the lead is extremely malleable and great for body contours. Really handy item and great value.
This arboleaf Body Tape Measure with Smart App is awesome! I got it because I’m doing ddp yoga and I wanted to track my body changes. It’s so easy to use and it connects to my phone automatically. It records my measurements and shows me how much I’ve changed over time. It also syncs with other apps like apple health and my fitness pal, which is super cool.
The tape measure itself is very handy and accurate. It has a lock that holds the tape in place and a button that retracts it. It can switch between centimeters and inches, whatever I like. It also shows me the smallest changes in my body, which is very encouraging.

Great product,This digital tape measure is well made, has a locking mechanism and is very easy to use. Simply wrap the tape measure around itself, clip and retract to the correct position. It is much easier to use than a loose sewing tape. you can download the app and track the progress, The app records historical data and presents it in a clear graph. Sometimes managing and maintaining your way. Can be a massive let down. When you work hard at dieting. And don’t. Lose any weight? Can be soul destroying. And when people say you’ve lost it in inches. It’s sometimes hard to believe. And you just feel like they’re saying that to make you feel better.
Well, now with this great little device. You can measure yourself. And once you see it. There in front of you. On the display panel. You have to believe it. And that’s going to make you feel a whole lot better.
It’s great quality. With a clear and precise viewing display.
It’s lightweight with a good. Ease of use.
It’s versatile and can be used. For other things, not just measuring the body. the overall value for this item. It’s very good value for the money.
After being delivered I couldn’t wait to try this tape measure.
So downloaded the app and set it up.
Then come to the measuring. This is where the instructions are a little iffy.
It tells you to measure and how to save the measuring on the measure. But it doesn’t clearly show you how to set it up to measure.
For this top happen you have to pull the tape out from the measure and with the white plastic attachment on the tape put into a slot just above where the taps comes from and click it into place. This forms a loop on the measure. You should get the idea from there with the instructions again.
But all in all. The measure is excellent. It immediately shows the measurement on the app.
The app tells you exactly where to measure.

A compact little tape measure that’s both easy to use and accurate.
This little device uses one CR2032 battery (supplied but not installed). It has a clear display on the front which can measure in CM/Inches. As you extract the tape (pressing the button to release it) the measurement goes up. It retracts using another button, just like a conventional tape measure.
There is a small recess that the end tab of the tape can slot into, allowing you to measure the circumference of limbs, etc., with only one hand. Just open it up, put your arm through (for example) and press the release button to tighten it up.
The app is rather good, allowing you to select what you’re measuring (using their pre-defined places on the body, or by adding your own). Good for slimming as well as clothes measurements.
The length is remembered even when the tape is turned off and always goes back to zero without need for recalibrating.
If it’s something you need, it’s very good at what it does.

This is a fantastic tape measure, and is far more accurate than using an old traditional tape measure, plus it’s far easier to read.
I love the app integration, it’s a nice added feature and makes storing and taking measurements a breeze.
This device is a very useful tool.
I guess this takes a bog standard tape measure up to the next level. It needs an App to fully function and it’s supplied with a battery which is easy to activate. Once you set up the user details the tape records all and every measurement.
You take a measure, lock it in place and the App records it against the relevant user profile. You can set up numerous users. Easy to read and monitor if you’re keen to record changes in body measurements for whatever reason. Not sure I want that level of detail but it delivers what it promises.
I hot this to help me in my weight loss journey. It is really easy to use and helps me to record multiple measurements using the app that goes with it.
It is very accurate at measuring and is much easier to hold and work out what the measurement is rather than trying to twist and turn with a traditional tape measure and hoping you got it right.
It is very simple to use and I think it is def worth the money if you are trying to change your body shape
This electronic measuring tape became very handy for my sewing projects where I do a lot of body measurements. As soon as I saw it I had to get it as I knew it would make my work much easier, and it did!
It’s a small device and easy to use and operate. Once you insert the battery (it’s a flat round one which is provided in the pack) you need to download the app on your smartphone and connect to the Bluetooth. It’s not chargeable with USB so it only works with this battery but not sure how long it would last (no spare one provided).
Once you connect to the Bluetooth, it automatically recognises your measurements on the app, you can then save or discard your measurements or customise it. It really made my work so much easier and accurate than the manual measuring tape which never gets it perfectly right.
The measurement tape is soft and flexible so it’s easy to mould around the curves and circumferences. You can lock/unlock the tape with a clip beside it and retract with a push of a button. It’s also easy to switch between CM or Inch.
It has a 1 year warranty. Considering it won’t break anytime soon (as it’s a bit pricey), I would highly recommend this electronic measuring tape especially if you are in clothing/tailoring business. I put a video, hope it helps.
UPDATE:
My original review was based on first impression which I gave 5 stars but when I started working with it (as I do a lot of body measurement due to my work) I realised it’s not %100 accurate, it’s always slightly off by 1/16″ (0.0625) or so, for example if I place the tape let’s say on an exact 2″ line it gives me 2.07″ and so on, therefore reduced my rating to 4 stars. I will however still use it as it’s small and retractable and work around the discrepancies as it became very useful for my work.
