I’ve used these to peg down weed fabric and netting. As I hammer them down, they can sometimes bend out of shape but that’s likely due to my hard ground. Make sure you leave a small space between the peg and the ground so you have enough space to get them back out again. I made that mistake by hammering it all the way down and then couldn’t get it back out without digging the grass where it was. Entirely my own idiotic fault and not the product’s. They do rust quite quickly though so be aware of this, but I haven’t found the rust to interfere with the sturdiness yet.
I bought these as I am busy covering my raspberries by making a bamboo cage with those connectors and draping netting over the top.
I wasn’t sure from the photo what size these would be, however they are quite large.
They are also really heavy and sturdy, the ground around my raspberries is rocky, and I have bashed these into the ground with a mallet, and stood on a couple to get them in, and tye went in, and kept their shape, which is impressive.
They come loose in a cardboard box, which is great, no plastics.
We got these to peg down some membrane we laid in the garden they did the job brilliantly. We found them strong enough as long as you don’t hit rock definitely recommend
I’m using these pegs to hold down sweet pea netting . Plenty of pegs . More then I need but will find a perfectly good use for them soon . Nice & sturdy. Good value at a time when we need to tighten our belt .
Need a peg ,then buy these . Very happy with purchase .
Good steel ground pins & worked for an area of geotextile membrane.
However, if the ground is stoney they do have a tendency to buckle!
Decent value for money regarding the number you get.
